For maximum immersion, we invite you to explore the Operation Redline hub. Delve into the events that led to this critical moment in time and discover more about the fractured world in which World War 3 takes place.
NEW MAP: GOBI (TEAM DEATHMATCH)
Encompassing land across China and Mongolia, the Gobi Desert is the world’s sixth-largest desert. As a storm rages around you, work as a team to battle it out in the dusty chambers of an ancient temple. Found in the new Chinese Conflict Zone, take a closer look at this new Team Deathmatch map in action:
NEW MAP: DMZ (TACTICAL OPS)
The Korean Demilitarized Zone is the border barrier separating North and South Korea. Flanked by oceans and running 250km, it is heavily guarded on both sides by soldiers, razor wire, landmines, heavy armaments, and other dangerous deterrents. Use uneven terrain to your advantage as you fight to secure objectives in this no man’s land. Do some reconnaissance on this new Tactical Ops map in the trailer below:
GEAR UP WITH NEW OPERATORS
Fight to unlock brand-new Operator Blueprints from the Battle Pass:
ROK 707th SMG (South Korea): The 707th Special Mission Group is an elite special forces unit formed in the 1980s by the Republic of Korea. Specialized in direct action, they act as South Korea’s primary counter-terrorism unit.
PLAGF (China): Founded in 1927 as the Chinese Red Army, the People's Liberation Army Ground Force is the oldest and largest of China’s armed forces. This army is highly trained and ready for just about anything, including rapid reaction combat, counter-terrorism, and even electronic warfare.
DMZ Guard (South Korea): A sentinel of no man’s land, standing watch between two nations along the Korean Peninsula.
EXPAND YOUR ARSENAL WITH NEW WEAPONS
Try out new tactical approaches with these weapons:
K2C1 (Assault Rifle): A trusty service rifle carried by South Korean military personnel. Shoulder-fired and loaded with hollow-point rounds, this assault rifle will tear through unarmoured combatants. With surprisingly high hip-firing accuracy, it’ll give you an edge in the corridors of Gobi Desert Temple.
QBZ-95 (Assault Rifle): Manufactured in China, this assault rifle’s bullpup design places its action and magazine behind the trigger, resulting in a compact, easy-to-control firearm. While its rate of fire isn’t too competitive, minimal recoil makes it a solid and reliable choice.
CALL IN HEAVY ORDNANCE WITH NEW STRIKES
New strikes and vehicles are at your disposal:
ZTZ-99 (Main Light Battle Tank): Boasting a 125mm caliber gun that can cover any weak points with sheer firepower, this tank is crucial to China’s defenses. It can traverse rough terrain and metropolitan areas more easily than other tanks.
K21 (Light Infantry Fighting Vehicle): Its fiberglass chassis makes it light enough to gain a speed advantage… but it’s no glass cannon. It’s more than capable of combating enemy IFVs, and mobile enough to make a quick getaway.
IMUGI (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle): Your eye in the sky. Fly high and fast above proceedings, and use air-to-surface missiles to catch enemies off-guard with powerful ground attacks.
IMPORTANT: All base Blueprints for new weapons, vehicles, and strikes in Operation Redline can be unlocked via free progression and do not require the purchase of a Battle Pass.

New Shop rotations.

NEW FEATURES
Point Shooting Technique: A new gameplay mechanic that allows you to switch to an aiming mode that is a middle ground between regular ADS and Hipfire meaning it’s suitable for Close Quarters Combat.
Base Protection: You can still be wounded or killed in the base while getting shot at with regular bullets as infantry, but you cannot be killed by Explosive damage (to give infantry more room to maneuver against enemy vehicles so they cannot be spawn camped so easily.) Vehicles can still be hit with explosive damage from RPGs or enemy vehicles while in the base.
Lean Reloading: Added ability to reload when leaning to the left or right in first- or third-person perspectives.
Contextual Gadgets: Whenever someone requests a gadget from you directly, it’ll show in your middle peripheral vision so it’s easier to spot a request from your squad.
Movement Collision Momentum: We have improved character behavior when they get stuck or collide when running. The character no longer slows to a complete stop and doesn’t interrupt the flow of running while hitting an object (for example: getting stuck in doorways).
Mobility Health Bar Redesign: Every weight class now has a different amount of health segments. The lighter you are, the more health you can regenerate on your own:
Lightweight Class: 2 segments, 50 HP each
Medium Weight Class: 3 segments, 33/33/34 HP
Heavyweight Class: 4 segments, 25 HP each
New Collision Animations: Added a procedural animation for weapons whenever you get close to the obstacle, which moves your gun back a little when your barrel meets a collision (works only in Hipfire).

GAMEPLAY
New animation when you switch to your Side Sights.
Walking animation improvements while Aiming Down Sights (ADS).
Improved visual recoil on Iron Sights for Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, and Pistols.
Added a weapon equip animation when leaving vehicles so you cannot shoot instantly upon leaving the vehicle.
Renamed "Change Shooting Mode" to "Next Shooting Mode" in Keybinding Options.
Renamed "Change Sight" to "Next Sight" in Keybinding Options.
Neutral vehicles that appear on Capture Points were removed by default and now will appear when the team captures a point.
Damage and Range of Compact and Marksman barrels have been adjusted for the following calibers: 9x19 Parabellum, 9x18 Makarov, .40 S&W, 5.56x45 NATO, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x51 NATO, and 7.62x54mmR.
Following these changes, all barrels within the same caliber now share maximum and minimum range, but their damage profile will change. For instance, if you equip a Compact Barrel on an M4 MWS, its damage drop-off starts and ends at the same distances as the Standard or Marksman barrels, but its maximum damage is increased while its minimum damage is decreased.
MCS changes:
Reduced pellet amount from 14 to 11.
Significantly decreased its damage on the range. MCS is now incapable of one-shot kills above 18 meters (if no pellets hit the head).
The intended one-shot kill range is now somewhere around 12 meters.
This may be inconsistent due to how pellet spread works. We are monitoring its performance and will make additional changes as necessary.
Aiming Down Sights (ADS) now slightly decreases pellet spread.
Piorun changes:
Reduced weight, increased ammo reserve, and decreased damage.
Players can also resupply 3 missiles from a single Ammo Pack.
These changes are meant to help Piorun fulfill its role as a general anti-air drone launcher. With its medium weight and low ammo reserve, the weapon was previously primarily used as a "one trick pony" counter to enemy Helicopter Drones, instead of as a secondary weapon to effectively combat enemy UAVs and helicopter drones.
Glauberyt has been buffed and is now more competitive with the DMG Nine-Milli within their weight class.
All attachments that affect the “Sprint-to-Fire" stat have been rebalanced to be more impactful.
Side attachments, including Flashlights, Laser Sights, and Combos, no longer increase the time needed to fire after sprinting. This downside was replaced with a sway increase.
Fixed an issue where the Thermite Grenade's area of effect would continue to damage players after the particle effect disappeared.
Fixed idle first- and third-person perspective movement for all LMGs in the game.
Fixed issues with arm clipping in the menu for all new LMG poses.
Many minor first-person transition fixes, including sprint to idle for AK Alpha.
Improved the physical model rotation of the character's Backpack when the character rotates on the spot with a sidearm or rifle in hand.
STRIKES
Tweaks to explosions for small drones (Warmate, Botfly).
Added after-shot force for all calibers above 40.
Tweaks to how camo is applied on Strikes and their attachments.
Changes to turret names.
Fixes to linguistic errors in descriptions, and pros and cons for all Strikes.
Tweaks to third-person perspective animations for Quad passengers and drivers.
Commando caliber change from 30 to 40.
T-72 special turret now reloads secondary ammo properly (machine gun).
CLIENT
Localisation fixes.
Added warnings in the rename screen.
Fixed lags in the Career tab.
Weapon Achievements redirect to the Mastery tab.
Improved animated backgrounds.
Now shows banner background when focusing on rename button.
Added connecting icon when XMPP is unavailable.
Added LEVEL text to the player banner.
Fixed an issue where new notifications did not disappear.
Fresh accounts should not receive "New unseen items" notifications in the main menu/Customization.
Right mouse click can be used to uncheck other options in Custom Play.
Added emblem to the identification card on the deployment screen.
Improved warmup screen.
Implemented blinking request markers.
Improved communications between online systems.
Fixed various matchmaking issues.
AUDIO
Increased range for weapon sounds and explosions.
Bullet shells now have a unique sound depending on the surface type they fall on.
Some audio emitters may serve to warn about approaching enemies.
Fixed the missing sound of the grenade launcher in the vehicles.
KNOWN ISSUES
The following issues will be fixed soon in a future patch.
M416 can have six attachments.
Sound of the repair tool continues after death (respawn, melee, punish).
Vehicle kills with Warmate and Botfly explosions don't count towards achievements and mastery challenges.
Reckless Pilot - Warmate (LM) not counted by progression.

This update also contains various bug fixes.
