Work in Progress Update

Working on the fighter jet and the first non-horde-mode mission.

UPDATE with VR Hand Controller Support

-Added VR HandControls support (as in reading their orientation)
(Defaults to OFF, change under MISC settings)
-Tweaked Plane and Helicopter physics
-Fixed bug that left alien ships laying burning on ground for a long time
-Added Set Defaults to all pages of Settings Menu
-Probable fix for the buttons in the menu sometimes not responding

Update

-Fixed bug with frontwheel of plane not turning properly
-New geometry for alien fighter and missile-cruiser (feedback welcome!)
-Missile-cruiser crash explosion fixed
-Fixed the crashing-trail of all alien vessels, it didnt look good on some

The missile-cruiser is huge and the fighter very fast. I noticed that sometimes they have some issues that need further tweaking (e.g. they both have some issues with terrain that will be fixed soon), but I believe they are both adding a lot to the game already.

Major Update with 3 New Enemies & Monitor-Support!


Monitor-supprt:
-Including Lens-correction to counter distortion along edges (If you study your other games you will notice how things get enlarged and distorted quite disproportionally along the edges of the screen).

-Stronger LUT color-correction than in VR for a unique look&feel.

-DepthOfField for stonger sense of depth and distance.

-Dont forget to use ALT and Right-Stick to look around, and to toggle straight/nearest-enemy view with C/V.


Tweaks:
Improved character movement (more to do).

Additions:
-Added Alien Drones with a shotgun-style attack

-Added Alien Fighters with a burst-laser turret

-Added Alien Missile Cruisers with double missile-pods but no turrets

-Missile Cruisers have a first pass at new capital ships crashing


There is a lot of new features and content in this update, so there is bound to be several bugs. Please let me know anything show-stoppers you encounter, and I will fix them asap!

New option (under MISC):
Controls Sensitivity

-Defaults to 0.5, previous behavior is equal to 1.0.
-Lower values makes all input slower to reach maximum strength, while still being quick to fall back to 0.

Update

Smaller update:
-VR-Reset button now works
-Fixed water on training-level, and added trucks
-Controls less sensitive around center, for better fine-tuning of aim
-Helicopter is easier to manouver at low speed and land
-Enemies more agile
