With the new update you can now spawn a canoe in every possible water (F4 key) and fish from boat! If you have accidentally placed the boat in the wrong place (for example on land), you can reposition the boat by pressing the F4 key several times.
Display of the catches at the water
Long overdue was the display of the catches made at the fishing waters. This is now possible (key F3)!

New features, fishes and venues
Update with many extensions and improvements
Small splashes on water surface during casting and stroke, jumping fish that now jump at different places and different camera positions in boats (keys 1-0) are nice new features. But much more extensive are changes in the main menu with new functions.
New submenu to select fishing waters
All waters at a glance, sorted by water type, make the selection easier for beginners and advanced anglers. Additionally, you can (by clicking on the dice) go to a randomly selected water.
Daily News
In the 'News' section you can now find additional daily news, which are automatically created by the game. So every special feature is displayed, for example new world records, new casting records, especially big fish caught etc.
Tournaments
There were performance problems in the competitions when the competition had been running for several days. This was simply because the many fish had to be evaluated at certain intervals and the more fish caught, the worse it was for performance. This problem can now be avoided by switching off the HUD.
Furthermore, it is now possible to display the fish species of the water in competitions (key F2).
New fish species and new 3D models
Newly added are the octopus and the stingray, which can be found in oceans all over the world. The ray in game is representative of the hundreds of ray species that exist around the globe. For a few species of fish the 3D models were exchanged for better ones. So for the ugly Nase there is finally a much better model available. Also Rockfish and Piranha have been exchanged for new -animated- 3D models!

New Setups
Especially for river fishing a setup without float was introduced. This allows you to let the lure drift in the stream. In levels 4 and 5 without additional bite indicator you have to keep an eye on the line to see the bite - just like in real fishing! This setup is the last in the group of floats, just 1 before the sinker!
For bottom fishing additional beep sounds have been added for the 'electronic bite indicator'. Furthermore, a control beep is made immediately after the cast.
Predators on the prowl
We know it from the water: hundreds of small breeding fish flee in panic to the water surface and create eddies. Predatory fish are hunting here! For anglers a sign to unpack the blinker :) This effect is now also in game and can cause a frightening moment every now and then.
Bats
At the last competition in Bodiam Castle, England, I was fishing at night and I saw this spotlight illuminating the castle. My first thought was: 'there should be bats flying around'. And bam! Now there are bats flying, which looks really good :) It has nothing to do with fishing, but it lifts the atmosphere.
lbs und inch
The game is based with it's statistics on the metric system with grams and centimeters, which is used worldwide. In the USA and a few other countries it is not so common yet. That's why now when you catch a fish, lbs and inches (pounds and inches) are displayed in addition! But this only applies to the catch display! To change the complete statistic system would be much too complex and would be the source of too many errors.

Better float animations, 3 new venues and private tournaments
Floats
The new update will improve the float sinking animations. Each fish species has a different bite, but most will pull the float below the water surface. But there are also fish species wich willraise the float, i.e. carp, bream, barbel and others. This, too, has been taken into account.
Private Tournaments
Until now, only public competitions were possible. If you want to hold a competition with relatives or friends, you can now do so! Mark the contest as 'private' and set a password. Give the password to your friends and they can join the contest!

Lake Prag (Southtyrol, Italy)
A place in the Dolomites and a real natural paradise, unfortunately overcrowded with tourists. In the game the tourists were simply removed and you have the whole lake for yourself. The clear mountain water is a paradise for salmonids of all kinds.
New fish species
European bass, Japanese masu salmon, permit, rooster and giant sail- and swordfish have been added. And another new 'fish species'. Which will not be revealed here, but it occurs in 80% of the waters. Let yourself be surprised by it ːsteamhappyː
New: Casting!
The new update comes with a new casting tournament for all venues. You You have 10 attempts to hit a predetermined target. The lower the distance of the impact to the target, the better. The world's 10 best players worldwide are stored online.

Changes with fishing
The rotation speed of the rod (to the fish) has been increased, which makes the drill look more realistic.
Changes with tournaments
The two-hour competition had to be cancelled without replacement due to unfairness in the evaluation. With these short competitions it was too easy to push yourself up the list of cup winners. As a result, these competitions will no longer be evaluated and will be removed for the future. So you can now only create competitions between 1 - 7 days.
Bugfixes in competitions
Unfortunately, there was a translation problem in the competitions, which is why some turneys were displayed incorrectly or not at all. This bug is now fixed!

7 new fishing baits
Carp fishers can use the potatoe now and deep sea fishers the fish frazzle. But the focus was set on catfish-bait. There is chicken liver, stinkbait, blood soaked bait and meat for catfish. And the new cricket bait can be used for both: predators and non-predators.
2 new fish species
For african freshwater there are 2 new species: the Tigerfish and the African pike.

At the clubhouse you can watch tournaments intermediate results live now.
