Fisherwomen, Chat and more...
Three fishing women, three new fish species (Schneider, Sardine and Piraiba), twelve new lure (3 Pilker, 4 Blinker, 4 plastic fish, 1 plastic frog), two new fishing waters - Amazonas (Brasil) and Burg Eibach (Germany) are coming with the new update to v1.0.098.
Also there's a new Chat-System in Tournaments, and you can write messages to your friends now.
The color of all fishing rods can be changed with key 'V' now!
And if you want to start a short match with friends you can select a short 2-hours-tournament.
Update to v1.0.093
The new update will improve some fishing parameters and the new tournament system. Also some bugs have been fixed and 4 new fishes were added.

Tournaments
The new version (v1.0.089) comes with a tournament system and you can now fish against friends and others all around the world.
Note: each player can start one competition within 7 days.
Select from different variables to create your own tournament and play with other peopler.
Mini-Map
For a better orientation a Mini-Map system was added.
The mini-map can be resized and you now can see where you are.
New fishes
4 new fishes were added for the oversized Lake Fork, USA, Texas.
All 4 are the so called 'Muskellunge' in different variants.

New Venues
As announced before a very big lake in USA was added to the game.
Lake Fork has 315 miles / 507 km shoreline and there's enough space to fish.
Also new is the map 'Rhein Vuile Gat' in the Netherlands, wich comes with salt- and freshwater fish.
The scene is placed in the Rhine-Delta.
Hungary also has got a new venue wich is called 'Danube near Budapest'.
And last but not least: icefishing in Russia. The map is placed at the Baikal Lake and you can fish for perch and pikes in a small ice-hole.
This map has a nice atmosphere. Don't forget to put on your wintercoat before fishing!

Another update will be finished in a week or two.

Biggest venue ever
A new fishing water will be Lake Fork, USA, Texas, wich is about 315 miles / 507 km shoreline.
It will have 10 hotspots with nice fishing places, but you can drive with the boat and fish wherever you want.

Every player can start a competition and fish against friends and other people around the world.

Version 1.0.078 with a lot of new features
In addition to eliminating a few smaller bugs there are 3 new fishing waters in game:
Lake Brienz (Lake in Switzerland)
Maguare (a small pond in Colombia)
Theiss Lake (Lake in Hungary, here just a part of it!)
In Norway - Faerder Lighthouse - the deep sea fishing was added.
It works just like in previous deep-sea fishing maps like Tanzania
and Fiji!
In addition, you can now catch the following new fish species:
East/North Sea: Flounder, Halibut, Common Dab, Turbot, Pollock, Saithe, Common Ling and Porbeagle!
Europe: Vimba Bream, White-Eye and Linear Carp.
For Europe a bug with the Crucian Carp and Bullhead was eliminated, wich prevented that these species could be caught.
Asia: Grass carp and Pacu
North America: American Shad
South America: Traira (Tigerfish), Skipjack Tuna, Dourado
If you want to perfect your fishing, you can choice fish bait for specific fish species.
In addition to new plastic fishes and -frog, blinkers and pilker there is now a selection of baits for floats and sinkers.
Worm, corn, maggots, boilies, dough, bread, various types of nut, cheese, cherry, strawberry, bacon, beetle, spider and bait fish for targeted fishing on specific fish species.
It is important to know that the choice of bait reduces the number of possible catches (!) and only to thetargeted fish will bite.
An example: Nuts are mainly used for Orfe and Chub. All other fishes will hardly or not bite at all!
So it will take much longer to catch something, but the desired species of fish will be on the hook.
The individual baits are described in game.
Another news is the setting of the field of view in game.
You can set it between 40-70°, standard is 50° (so far 60°).
This gives you a much better view on floats.
'F' changes the value (it's also discribed in the box with the shortcuts).
At the request of some players, the rate at which fish get off from the hook and strikes fail were increased.
So the game gets a little closer to reality. However, this rate is just been carefully adjusted!
And last but not least: The animations of the rods during the drill were smoothed, that means they don't 'flutter' anymore.
First Update released
Today the first update was released.
It will fix a performance problem with the statistics and comes with the new Hall of Fames. Learn more in game under 'News'!
And french language was added to the game.

The game was released just 2 days ago and the start was really impressive.
Thanks to all of you who helped and gave the first feedback!!!
2 small-rather insignificant- bugs have already been localized and fixed for the first coming update!
What has surprised me very much was that in just 2 days you've already caught over 3000 fish !!!
This is sensational, but I'm afraid that the statistics are bursting very soon.
Therefore another solution for the statistics is needed and I am already working on it.
At the moment, clicking on 'Today caught fish (World)' causes an FPS collapse.
This is because more than 1500 fish have been caught 'today' and these have to be calculated and displayed from the world record file, which requires some processing power.
Currently it affects only this one menu item and the error is also fixed for the upcoming update!
There are also new ideas for the game.
One point will be that you can choose different baits to fish specifically for certain fish species.
Of course, this should be done easily and without many menus, much like selecting the fishing rod or the setup.
