Beyond playing together, what we would like to do with you guys is a focus on some pre-game strategy & some coaching from Loic.
When you are captain of your team, take a screen shot of the strategy you implemented before the game starts and Loic Voulot will give you some feed back or coaching in a short note over the weekend.

Please note that in his early stage, the dev team adapts the play mode from 1v1 to 5v5 to optimize games and reduce waiting. Thank you for your understanding. We will open more modes to choose from when enough players are online together.

The Millennium Series European Championship released today at 4pm the London Campaign Cup on its website (June 29 - July 2).
XField Paintball 3, under licence with all international IRL paintball leagues, is in the position to deliver simultaneously this layout in the game.

XFP3 has been live now for a couple of days and it is a good opportunity to thank you, our early adopters. We are a small hardworking team and you can count on us to read your comments and bring you improvements and updates. Jump with us in the driver’s seat ; XFP3 is a community driven game.
First update tomorrow
Tonight we plan to update the game with some bug-fixing and a new layout.
The layout is one of the next International competition, available before the competition takes place. A good oportunity to try the layout before international teams play it IRL.
Gameplay
Talking about your feed backs, it is very clear that we have not been good at communicating over the gameplay of XField Paintball 3. We made some attemps today to fix this by starting a « gameplay discussion » and adding a new video that gives an overview on how to implement your strategy. We will keep the information coming and work is in progress to make the gameplay more « user friendly ».Let us know what you think of it and if you have more questions. It will benefit the community.
Next major update
Beyond the regular smaller updates, major updates are scheduled as well. The next major update includes different ways to play with your friends.
Why release now
Our game is « all inclusive » : Low latency Azure servers and regular updates, new features and contents. We know we had some comments on our state of readyness. It is paintball high season for sure. But let’s be honest, it took a lot of time and energy to create a dedicated multiplayer engine with real paintball physics and our Indie studio needs this and your support to keep going and bring the game where you want it to be.

XField Paintball 3 on Steam May 30 2017
XField Paintball 3 puts players into the shoes of top-level paintball players for intense and hard-fought matches on the same arena layouts used in professional competitions.
Before each match, a captain is randomly selected to lead each team. The captain quickly sets the team strategy and assigns the roles of Rusher, Shooter, and Tactician to the five players. Each role gets certain bonuses—for instance, the Rusher gets enhanced speed—and each plays a different tactical role. In-game communication is handled via pre-scripted button presses with a unique twist: Each communication costs a certain number of communication points, and points are limited for each match so players must choose carefully. Once the match starts, the action goes quickly with the winning team being the first to eliminate all adversaries, hit the buzzer on the enemy team’s side of the field, or have the best position at the end of round.
XField Paintball 3 is developed and published by XField Paintball Studio, a mix of 12 seasoned veterans and up and comers dedicated to making an innovative real-time multiplayer paintball game that delivers all the strategy and tactics of the paintball competition. The game is powered by the studio’s proprietary creation, a custom designed FPS-Sport multiplayer hybrid engine. XField Paintball 3 is a community driven game. Join the game !
