In addition to having fixed more bugs during this beta test, we've developed a new tool to help you report bugs and errors:
Now, if the game crashes you'll get the option to automatically send a report. A new window will appear where you can enter your e-mail address and a brief description of what happened. This report will also send the unity log, your basic PC specs (processor, OS, graphics card, etc.) and the last game save you loaded.
It will not gather any personal information and this report can only be sent if you click on it.
Besides getting the popup window when the game crashes, should you need to report a bug or any issue on your own, you'll find a "send report" button in the options menu. The same rules apply: write your contact e-mail, a brief description and the last game save you loaded and the unity log will be sent to us, along with a brief description of your computer specs.
Enjoy the newly balanced music channel and, while it's nice to read the comments you leave on this announcement, don't forget to tell us about it on the discussion forum!

[PUBLIC BETA][PC] 0.8.2b1 - Music channel optimization
Dear players,
It's almost been a month since you began enjoying the music channel and, after fixing the biggest issues with 0.8.1, we've kept on polishing Youtubers Life and the music channel in particular.
We've been working on general stability, lots (and I mean lots) of minor bug fixes and:
Tweaked game balance on the music channel: We've heard your complaints: the new music channel progression was way harder than the gaming channel one. Getting views and subscribers will be easier from now on when playing as a musician Youtuber (musictuber?).
Make sure to comment on this changes on the beta forum so we can further tweak the game.
Improved collaborators: We've made several changes involving collaborator behaviour. This may have broken some things and fixed other ones, that's what beta testing is for.
Please report any strange behaviour on the beta forums!
Automatic videos: From level 12 onwards you'll be able to automate video-making with your character the same way you can do it with a collaborator.
This new feature has been included with the intention to remove the grinding aspect that some of you found annoying. Now you can focus on other aspects of the game.
Improved live music shows performance: Youtubers Life is an all-inclusive game. We're really proud of having reached to as many fans as we could but the music channel and the live show minigame feature posed a great barrier for those folks with older builds, where even the lowest graphics settings made the show impossible to play.
We've tweaked it to remove every stress-generating asset from the live shows when the game is set to the lowest graphics to accommodate those folks that play with a computer that's even below our minimum requirements.
Yes, it will look ugly. Yes, there'll be no public on sight. But everyone with a computer that can barely turn on will be able to at least enjoy Youtubers Life (trust me, we've tested it on a Kentsfield Quad Core with 1GB RAM and a 9800GT and it's playable).

[0.8.1] Halloween update

Dear players,
It's been a week since we launched the music channel and we've been listening to all your reports and suggestions. This is our answer!
We wanted to join the Halloween spirit and we have prepared some customization for you to enjoy!
Besides all the temporary graphic additions, you will find exclusive items at the clothes shop, new decoration, skin colours, etc. These will only be available until Nov 1st! So make sure you get them before they fade into the void! You will get all of this starting a new game. Also, you will be able to get a special HALLOWEEN ACHIEVEMENT completing some quests during this days.
Bug fixes:
"Live show" talent works as intended now. You can record your live shows.
Game won't crash when claiming certain assignment rewards.
The game is no longer stuck at the end of a live show.
We tweaked game balance to ease player progression. Feedback on this is key!
Now you can see how many videos you've done for a certain style.
Text mistranslations and mislabeling.
Other minor bugs

How's music? Are you enjoying it? We know you are!
We've felt your love and support through the forum posts and private messages and we're really happy that you're enjoying our hard work.
As always, we've been paying attention to all the bug reports and suggestions and 0.8.1b is our response to that.
We've fixed the most urgent issues with the music channel and if everything works as expected, this beta version will go live tomorrow.
First of all, this is a beta version, play at your own risk. It can break saves, burn your computer down, steal your wives and flee on your horses... the usual.
We recommend having a backup of the *.yls file containing your saved game that can be found at [user folder]\U-Play online\Youtubers life\Saves so you can restore it if the beta breaks something.
How do I join the beta? Go to your game library, right click on Youtubers Life and click Properties. Go to the BETAS tab and, in the drop-down menu, choose "beta - Public beta". The game will update.
Known bugs We listened to your petition and changed the arrow colours of the live show minigame arrows! However, there was a glitch in the brain of one of our devs (you can call him "S2", roast him in the comments so he can feel your love) and the keys are turned around. :P
Expect a fix by tomorrow.
Try it, though, so we can see what happens when you get very bad results in live shows!
