Greetings, survivors!👋 We are happy to present the next update to the Zelter Closed Beta Test! We can’t thank you enough for your participation and all the comments you left us for the prior versions. It is based on your feedback that we can continue to improve the game. We know there are currently two versions of Zelter that you have been playing and there are fans of both among you. To play the latest Closed Beta Test described here, use the instructions provided in our previous publications to access it using the code CBTMarch2022 (case sensitive). The closed beta version of Zelter is available in Korean and English. Here’s all that’s included in the newest CBT version of Zelter:
New difficulty level!
We read your comments about the difficulty of Zelter’s latest versions. The game now includes three levels of difficulty - Novice, Seasoned (formerly Alert Level 1) and Veteran (formerly Alert Level 2). The Novice difficulty level is a new addition and includes the following modifiers: No boss zombie on the last day; No soldier or police zombies will spawn; There are less zombies on the map; Zombies move slower; Zombies deal less damage; Food doesn’t spoil as fast; Structures break down slower; You will begin receiving high level weapons as of day 4~5 for rescuing survivors.
Tutorial
You will now find basic controls listed in the corner of the screen in the tutorial; You can now check out high level guns in the tutorial! Try them out and pick your favorite;
Miscellaneous adjustments
The boss zombie now has some new tricks. Including a rush attack, a super jump and the ability to throw objects. Watch out! Crossbow was improved with higher damage, critical chance and stun duration. However it is now also slightly more expensive to make. Quality takes resources! The perk “Last Stand” now activates when at 40% HP rather than 30% HP.
Bug fixes
Bonfire lighting effects now properly apply indoors; Turrets no longer respond to animals; The wrong BGM no longer plays during the intro; Arrows indicating the location of survivors will no longer occasionally point in the wrong direction; Improved translation in character status window; Inventory interface will no longer remain open when you close the bag;
All these changes made their way into the Closed Beta Test available to you now, but there’s more to come. Here’re some more things that are on the way in future updates! Those of you who asked for a Save function - we hear you! While Challenge mode doesn’t support saves, work is on the way to release the alternative Pioneer mode that will include save functionality among its features. This mode, scheduled for release in Q3 2022 will up the quality and save all the fun; Multiplayer is still on the roadmap. After all, survivors need to stick together! Thank you, survivors! And remember it’s your feedback that helps us make Zelter the best game it can be 🙌

It’s been a month since the release of our Closed Beta Test and many of you have already left your feedback to this newest version of Zelter! Have you been enjoying your experience?
The notes you’ll find below should help you succeed in your role. Fill the shoes of a former special forces agent risking her life to rescue the survivors of a zombie outbreak. And keep your eyes peeled for supplies military aircraft provide you with via airdrop. You’ll need every resource you can get!
Every time you start a game the map is procedurally generated with randomized conditions, requiring you to adapt and establish your survival strategy accordingly. You will have to establish the infrastructure for farming and resource production, protect civilians fleeing attacking zombies, locate survivors and guide them to safety. Rescue helicopters will start arriving at the dawn of the third day.
With production facilities and distribution grinding to a halt due to the zombie outbreak it is up to you to amass resources and carry out rescue operations to aid survivors.
