- Conquer your way to the top with the brand new Leaderboard system in the Skyland base camp!
- Visual Progression: Instead of passively unlocking godstones in a list, the new skill tree vividly showcases your journey as you level up. - Empowered Choices: You'll have the freedom to explore godstone abilities before making your choice. Even when two godstones compete for a slot, you decide your path. - Deep Dive: Each ability boasts its own branches and nodes. Customize your character to fit your style, with respec options available if you change your mind. - Any Unique modifiers you collected will also be carried over to the new system and will become available to equip once you unlock Augments. - Existing characters will be converted to the new system and you’ll be awarded points to invest in your skill trees.
Skill Tree Conversion Process
All the Godstones you possess, regardless of their rarity, will have their accumulated XP combined and converted into skill points for the new system. The conversion ratio is such that having a combination of XP equivalent to 3 fully upgraded epic Godstones will maximize the points for that skill tree.
For every maxed Godstone's worth of XP, we also roll for an Augment of the same rarity type, and any Unique modifiers you have collected will be directly carried over to the new system as epic Augments. Augment slots, and Augment drops become available once you max out the skill points for an ability.
For our veteran players who obtained legendary godstones in the first few weeks of launch, their XP will be considered as epics for Augment rolls, and as a special reward, we will also be granting an exclusive title.

We're excited to announce The Citadel Update! This update unveils the arena deep within Skylands, The Citadel, where you'll face off against the Exiled's fierce leader, Sae Jiko.
New Content
- Added the Citadel arena in Skyland wherein lies a new world boss: Sae Jiko. What appears to be the primary antagonist is a charismatic Exiled leader who – or so Zenith believes – intends to use the strange resources of the “sky island” against it. Sae Jiko is a sympathetic villain who fights for the disenfranchised, the banished, the thousands cast from Zenith to perish or scratch out a living in Sylphid-infested wilderness. Now, seeing a chance to make a better life for her people, she won’t see it stolen by the city who spit them out.
- Added new pet: Kojika. Kojika is a brand new Pet that can be obtained as a drop from the Sae Jiko boss fight, or by turning in Marks of Devotion to The Ascended.
- Added a new weapon for each class, fight Sae Jiko and claim some of The Citadel's power for yourself! Endgame Updates
As we move towards releasing the new World Boss, Sae Jiko, in the Citadel Update (and to make room for additional end game content in future releases), the team has decided to alter the current path players take to reach Item Level 55. Mainly, in order to assist players old and new in reaching Item Level 55 in a timely manner, rewards from all relevant end game activities are increasing. These weapons will continue to be relevant moving into a future update, where the infusion limit will be raised to Item Level 60, and once fully infused will be used to synth a brand new Tier 3 Ascended Legendary weapon. - Fixed public event HUD timers sticking around for too long - Fixed player abilities being unequipped randomly - Potential fix on some sub-accounts on shared quest headsets being unable to play the game due to an unpack error - Fixed a bug with Cyber Ninjas' Assassin Strike ability that allowed unintended advantages. This has been resolved as part of ongoing efforts to ensure a balanced gameplay experience. Anyone who played on beta (play on PTR) for Rings & Ruins will earn the character title "Ring Runner". The character title will be distributed within a week of launch.
Since we're making continuous updates to Zenith, we're also moving away from the "Patches", "Minor", and "Major" naming conventions. Going forward we'll be using "Updates" to describe a group of changes. We're excited to announce the Rings & Ruins Update! Warnings/Cautions
Starting with patch 1.3, all new Cyber Ninja’s will go straight to the brand new area coming with this patch - Skyland - after the Academy. On the other hand, for all Blade Master’s and Essence Mage’s created after 1.3, 50% of accounts will be funneled into the old quest progression and the other 50% will go to Skyland. If you got funneled into the old questline and want to play in Skyland instead, see directions below in the "New Content" section.

Patch 1.3: Skyward Summit introduces a ton of brand new features and systems into the world of Zenith.
🤖 Cyber Ninja - New playable class – a fusion of magic and technology with the sole purpose of taking down enemies with stealth and precision. Simply create a new character and select the Cyber Ninja class to get started! Currently, only the DPS spec is available.
⛏️ New Life Skills (available in Skyland) - Mine ore and chop wood around Skyland, as well as craft yourself armor and weapons! You will acquire the multi-tool soon after starting the new Skyland questline, giving you access to the gathering tools and grappling hook. Note that the grappling hook currently works in Skyland only.
⚔️ PVP - Challenge other Zenitheans to duke it out in a variety of game types! This can be found in the menu that comes up when you interact with another player (same menu to add friend, etc).
🏡 Player Housing - Purchase and decorate your own home in Zenith. Invite friends over, throw a party, paint the walls! Houses can be purchased inside of the city; follow the signs near the Nexus District crystal - you can't miss ‘em!
👊 Combat Updates - Improvements on moment to moment gameplay with dodge, crouch, blocking, etc. Several settings related to the updated combat system can be found in your comfort settings. In Skyland, there are also several new combat mechanics (such as headshots) and new enemy AI.
⚛️ New Immersive Physics System - We ripped out our old physics and replaced it entirely with a new one! Benefits include swapping items without dropping, hand poses, not being able to push your hands through stuff, finger tracking improvements, better zip lines, two handed interactions (read: use two hands on the harvesting tool!), and more.

🌎 Skyland - Beautiful floating island with mysterious advanced ancient technology and mobs. If your character didn’t get sent to Skyland after the tutorial, go through the portal on the bridge outside of the city, and it will send you to Skyland and start you on the new questline.

Fallen Friend catchable creatures are different colors from the summonable version. We are currently exploring alternative solutions to distinguishing the catchable creature version from enemies.
Minor Patch 1.2.2 - New World Event, Pets and Bugfixes

We're excited to announce our latest patch - Minor 1.2.2! This patch is focused mainly around bug fixes and performance improvements, but we're also introducing new pets and a brand new limited time event foreshadowing the content of our next major update. The foreshadowing event and its rewards will only be available until the launch of 1.3, so get out there, Agent! Play on the Minor 1.2.2 PTR for 4 hours to earn the character title "Support Star". Note: when playing on PTR character titles are not synced with Live, so you may not see all your titles on PTR.

Rasken is invisible at first and then spawns in abruptly during the Academy fight with Cato.

Ingredients in the cauldron for the Celebration Cake overlap the UI window.
Effects from Rasken's departure from the Academy invasion cutscene linger after he leaves.

We added some tunable caps for stackable AP buffs -- we understand that this is a core part of the strategy so we tried to keep it pretty high, to reward high skillcap players, but not so high that everything in the game becomes trivial. We are testing this, and would love to get feedback from our player base about what feels like the right amount to stack.
Made legendary weapon modifiers for tank weapons more relevant to role (will only roll on newly created legendary weapons)
Legendary weapons can be synthesized to a new tier, while retaining the modifiers, enhancement levels, and infusion levels it had before
Heavily reworked and refreshed sword throwing physics to be closer to real world physics, allowing things like putting spin on your throw, etc. [Player Top Issue]
You can now start gliding while standing in an updraft without needing to jump
Sensitive Gliding is now the default gliding mode when a character is created
Quest beacons/locations no longer show or trigger for untracked quests

Aether Spark was listed as "40% AP" damage, however a bug caused it to do 0% damage. In this patch we have fixed the bug and adjusted it to do 10% AP damage, so while the UI says the damage has been reduced (40% to 10%), the actual damage value has increased (0% to 10%).

Known Issues
Some items given via quest may not stack with the same item acquired through other means due to an incorrectly assigned level of -1 "L-1"
Tier 2 (Empowered Nova Trigger & Empowered Falling Star) Artifact weapons currently look the same as their Tier 1 counterparts.
Tier 2 Empowered Nova Trigger has same Primary Stat as Tier 1. This will be fixed in the next update.
Icons are not consistent in size and behavior when moving items around in your inventory
A couple of pieces of VO/dialogue may be cut short by a word or two
If you are not in a guild, the guild menu may show a placeholder member list in addition to the create guild button.
The Sprinter modifier will be rerollable on new gear, but older gear (from before the patch) it is temporarily unable to be rerolled. This will be fixed in the next update.
After unlocking the Fast Travel point for Fractured Plains, you may need to relog in order for the Fast Travel point to show up on your World Map.
The Gemcrusher Pet is not currently pettable. This will be fixed in the next update.
