How to Switch Builds:
Getting set up only takes a few minutes. You’ll just need to switch to the Community Alpha build for Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest/2, or Steam. Sorry PSVR :( Community Alpha is only available for Steam/Oculus users due to the nature of build releases with PSVR.
Oculus Rift/Quest
Navigate to the Oculus store page on your computer or phone.
Tap/click on the version number.
Change to the channel named 'CommunityAlpha' and the app will update on your device.
Steam
Navigate to the game in your Steam library.
Right click on Zenith > Properties > Betas.
From the drop down, select 'communityalpha'.
Install the Community Alpha build then you’re all set! If you want to go back to the live game – uninstalling the game, changing your version/channel back to LIVE, then reinstalling works well.

Preamble
The Celestial Throne has descended. The team has been working away and we're thrilled to introduce our largest patch yet.The biggest addition to Zenith in this patch is the concept of Instanced Dungeons and Raids. In addition to overworld content, you can join forces with other Zenitheans and tackle 3 dungeons and 3 raids in private instances!This update also has dozens of hours of new quests, several new systems, new items/currency, and quality of life enhancements we have been eagerly working on (like left-handed controls!).There were some features we refined, like moving the in-game referral screen to the sign-up flow and new ways to craft/improve items. There were also some bugs we patched, like the "speed flying" bug and broken armor modifiers.As this build is still being tested and balanced in our private PTR -- we expect there to be many improvements and balance changes before going live on the 16th
Warnings/Cautions
We’ve fixed the “speed flying” glitch and restored gliding back to its intended state
“Speed flying” was a glitch that essentially broke the way gliding was designed to function. It was never meant to be a feature in the game. That said, we're always looking for ways to improve the gliding system so you might see some more updates to it in the future! We know users like moving fast and having competitions, so rest assured we will be continuously looking for ways to improve the feeling of gliding and velocity
[6/12 update] To make sensitive and basic gliding more fun to compensate, we've increased the maximum velocity without exploits by 25%, we've reduced stamina drain by 20%, we've increased the amount of takeoff velocity you can accumulate significantly, and we've reduced the cost of jumping significantly as well. All of this should lead to a much smoother, legitimate, gliding experience

Game Balance
Essence Mage Tank
Right now, due to a bug with certain essence mage tank abilities giving 100% lifesteal and an infinite shield, we know that EM tank is overpowered in many situations. We are looking for ways to shift the balance so that EM tank is still really fun and plays the same, but is more in line with other class utility. Ideally, we'd like to reduce the lifesteal percentage and make the shield not last as long. As of the release of this patch note, we still haven't come up with a way to do this, as the change is not trivial and we wanted to get this out a week before launch, but in the interest of transparency, please note that there will be additional balancing changes
Reduced Essence Mage Tank Culling Beam max damage and reduced the ammo refill rate from 6.6s to 8s

Decreased Spirit Burn damage by 26%
Antimatter Shell now correctly fades after 5 seconds
Fixed an issue that was causing Antimatter Shell to give more shield than intended
Changed level scaling so that enemies can be 7 levels above you before the hard cap takes place

New Features/Systems
Instanced Dungeons and Raids
Parties of agents can now test their mettle in instanced dungeons and raids! Currently dungeons require 4-person parties and raids require 8. (Not enough players in your party? Check out Matchmaking below!) Dungeons and raids can be unlocked via several methods including all new quest lines, and they have multiple difficulty ranks.
Artifact dungeons have 3 ranks of difficulty, and Celestial Throne raids have 2 ranks. You must have sufficient item level
Matchmaking
Our new matchmaking system allows you to queue for dungeons alone or with a party that is under the size limit. You'll be matched with other players and then your complete party will join the dungeon together.
Roulettes and roulette rewards
Roulettes provide a way to get extra rewards for playing random dungeons and raids. Join a roulette to be placed with other players in a random dungeon. In addition to the original rewards, you'll gain bonus rewards for participating via roulette!
Daily and Weekly Dungeon Rewards
The first time you complete a dungeon that day you will get bonus rewards. You can keep playing them and receive the original rewards as many times as you like, but you'll only receive the bonus rewards once per day/week. Daily and Weekly rewards will be crucial in your quest to gear up and get the most powerful armor in the game

Certain NPCs now offer quests once a day and once a week with special rewards!
[6/15 Update] Collectible Counters will be added in a later patch
Your inventory now contains a counter that lets you keep track of how many collectibles (like Amara’s Tears) you've found in each zone.
Headgear
Headgear with stats (not just cosmetic) is available for multiple armor sets
Item Levels and Infusion
Armor and weapons still have a level, which determines whether you can equip it at your level. Now they also have an “item level”, or ilvl, which contributes to their effectiveness. Enhancement stations now have an “infusion” option that lets you increase the item level of a specific piece of end game gear that can only be found in the raids. In the future many other types of armors will be infusab
Left handed controls
Any UI menus with pointers and abilities that require a single hand can now be used with either hand. To switch hands when using a menu, click with the other hand and the pointer will transfer to that hand.
New AI/Combat mechanics
Ring-shaped AOEs: circular AOEs that you can stand in the middle of
Stacking AOEs: an AOE that is placed on a player. Any players that join the target player will share the damage.
Bullet Hell: enemies can now rapidly fire projectiles
Traps/Environmental Damage: watch out for lava, steam vents, poison pools, and more!

Some of the water in Skysong Summit does not render properly on some platforms.
Loot pops out of chests in different directions, sometimes you may need to reach into a wall to grab it if it lands behind it.
There is a bug where godstones appear as level 1. This is a visual glitch; no progress has actually been lost.
Workaround: Kill a few mobs and the level will appear correctly.

Hi everyone! We have a number of juicy updates, so we’ll just jump right in.
The Celestial Throne Update
We are thrilled to announce our first major update since launch: The Celestial Throne. The update will have dozens of hours of new content, systems, and quality of life enhancements we have been eagerly working on (like left-handed controls!). We’re aiming to launch The Celestial Throne by the end of June.
Emerging from the violent storm essence that kept it hidden for the last 60 years, a flying castle hovers down near the surface once more.
The Celestial Throne Update will have:
Six new instanced dungeons filled with interactive puzzles, traps, adversaries, and an abundance of treasure
Instance matchmaking for parties of 4-8 players
Quality of life enhancements like left-handed controls & much more!

The upgrades will allow us to implement more of the interactive gameplay features that we've all been dreaming of, plus improve gameplay and networking performance over time. As a whole, this will improve our behind the scenes work and "quality of life" as developers so we can build the game faster too.
Breaking Changes
30 godstones limit per ability
While we won't be removing any existing player's godstones, you won't be able to pick up additional godstones of that ability until you trash them.
For convenience, we've included a clear godstones button that will remove all low level godstones with no XP from your inventory.
Resolved Issues
Fixed several issues with referral points. In some cases the number of points shown in game was incorrect (too low), and in other cases the number was correct but the rewards did not unlock in the store.
Fixed an issue with party members sometimes not being able to leave a party after previously disbanding a party.
Guild members can no longer promote a party member above their own role.
Fixed bug where the player was able to climb in the air after an object that was currently being held de-spawned.
Fixed quest journal sometimes not appearing until the player switched tabs back and forth.
Feature Updates
Add a button to remove all low rarity godstones with no XP on them.
Capped the amount of godstones a player can hold to 15 (this will be increased to 30 for the public release due to player feedback!)
Testing Philosophy
We wanted to add a bit of color to how thoroughly we're testing this. Although there are no significant user-facing changes in this patch, it represents a significant code change in the backend, as such we're taking all steps possible for a small team to reduce the risk of disruption when we go live, namely:
Hired 6 external QA testers and 1 new internal QA lead to test these builds non-stop leading up to launch
Have been testing with 40 trusted community members on early versions of the PTR for the past several weeks
Built a new phased rollout system that will let us dynamically increase the percentage of users on the new systems overtime.
Several internal playtests where the entire team tested and reported bugs
Public load tests to stress test our server tech
Despite all this -- there's always a chance that we may experience some unknown bugs on launch day, please don't worry, we plan on resolving every single one of them as quickly as we can, and also helping any people that are affected by such changes.

The next Main Story Quest is always displayed in your inventory.
Added extra inventory pages and cosmetic inventory tabs.
Equipment slots position and rotation can now be customized.
"Beater Gear" and "Arik's Gauntlet" rewards are now available in the Nexus District store if you have them unlocked.
New in-game referral system. Refer players to Zenith using your code to get exclusive Beater Gear cosmetics! 1 point per referral, 10 points for the full set! The referral screen can be found in the Social tab alongside your friend list. Use it to check the current number of points you have or to enter the name of the player that referred you. Linking your Discord account and adding a referrer will also give you 1 point each. You can pick your rewards up at the Nexus District store.
Feature/System Updates
Polished Guild Creation UI.
Show contribution and reward tier medals when completing events.
Rewards pop ups for quests. Show item rewards in the public event pop ups.
Add party member count to UI, increase max party member count to 8.
Opening and closing the in-game menu is now much faster.
Added modifier descriptions to item and godstone tooltips.
Make the starter weapons trash-able. Add a repeatable quest to Mika in Galian Plains that gives new starter swords or launchers (depending on which class you are). That way if you trash your original starter weapons you can replace them later on.
Distance grabbing is now disabled while in combat, to prevent accidentally grabbing loot.
Add player's email and account ID as tooltip to the login screen.
PS4: Update Shard Filter availability properly when coming from PSN Only.
Godstones now properly say when they are fully leveled
Hide "remaining XP" on logout panel when level 40 because the value was misleading
Improved readability of in-game system messages (shard restart warnings)

Resolved Issues
Fix some enemy AOEs not being visible on Quest.
Prevent Arboruht and other enemies from not counting towards Public Events when kited out of the PE.
Fix overlapping quest journal lines.
The in-game menu could be opened while loading which could cause accidental interactions. Also, disabled spells and weapon grabbing while loading. This also solves the issue that items (e.g. food) could be grabbed and lost while loading.
Fixed issue that role-levels were not properly updated in Godstones UI. Also fixed issue that current role button was not properly disabled, so it was possible to switch to the same role the player already had.
Fixed "Must Shroom" quest completing without going to NPC

Fixed Oculus ID not showing up anywhere; this also caused players on Oculus to show up as offline in the party list and broke all tooltips in the login area (for Create Account and Login)
Fixed Vivox Volume Slider (its range went too high); it's still possible to create distortions when going all the way up and the other player is at max volume but this should now happen much less frequently
Collect - Fire Seeds quest: Fixed incorrect "Return to" text.
Floating Island Treasure quest: Fixed incorrect pre-requisites, separated collect nodes for better tracking.
Fixed framedrop issues in credits.
Fixed godstone points not saving properly.
Updated the current epic equipment to have the same stats as the retired legendary equipment.
Players are no longer able to sell the Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Recipe.
Avatars' feet now have proper IK and don't clip through the ground.
