Zipple World: important gameplay information

Hello everyone,
with the 'health system' for Zipple the 'god mode' has been DISABLED while running.
In this way you can kill enemies only by jumping or by firing.
So the battle with the enemies is more realistic and the gameplay is more BALANCED.

Zipple World: new GUI improvements!

have been described additional details about the story of Zipple:


Shaman's house


The shaman will indicate each time a mission to accomplish, choosing each time a different village to defend, in the infinite world of frogs.
At the end of each mission, Zipple will return to the shaman's house in order to be rewarded.
Depending on your exploits during the mission, the people will give you more points!

we finally released a major update that includes the following new features.

RESTRUCTURED PLATFORMS!


About the classic world 1, it was finally increased the size of the platforms, to have a greater freedom of movement and playability:


NEW ITEMS TO COLLECT!


New objects (to take and bring in the houses of villages) have been created, each with a different score:

Magic box(normal): +5000 points
Food bag: +10000 points
Wine: +15000 points
Food box: +20000 points
Precious chest: +25000 points


NEW BONUS WORLD!


From level 5, and for every EVEN number of level, you will face the new bonus world with very wide platforms and with a large number of objects to be taken, in order to increase your score to the max!






These changes open the way to phase 2 of Zipple World, to reach the LEGENDARY EDITION, with new worlds, missions and surprises!

Zipple World now has Steam Trading Cards!!!

Persistent maps and health system for Zipple are now LIVE!

Hello everyone,
have been finally released two new important features for the game!

Persistent maps!


Now the current procedural level is finally saved to disk, so that when you fail a mission you can choose whether to repeat the same level or create a new one procedurally generated:

So you can repeat as many times you want the challenge with your preferred level!

Zipple health!


It was finally implemented the management of health for Zipple, in order to make more significant the battle with the enemies and make gameplay more solid:


Enemies will damage Zipple according to their type.
Also the number of enemies has been calibrated.


The Health of Zipple back to the MAX when you bring a magic box in one of the houses in the village!


Zipple World: new features, achievements and leaderboard!

Hello everyone,
Zipple now has a new feature: the distance traveled!


Now you can store the distance traveled by the frog warrior, and every covered meter increases the score!


Consequently FIVE new achievements have been added:

- Awakened! (You have walked 100 meters)
- Trained! (You have walked 500 meters)
- Sweaty! (You have walked 1000 meters)
- Athlete! (You have walked 5000 meters)
- Champion! (You have walked 10000 meters)


Also has also been added a new public online ranking, the "Distance traveled", to have a new challenge to be the #1!

Finally, the GUI has been slightly improved with the score counter.

Vertical Sensibility (V.Sensibility)

This parameter controls the Sensibility and speed of the progression during the Zipple's run!

Horizontal Sensibility (H.Sensibility)


Fundamental option!
This parameter controls the Sensibility and speed of Zipple's rotation!

Camera speed


Fundamental option!
This parameter controls the speed of camera rotation!

Rocks rate


This parameter controls the falling frequency of rocks or bonuses!

Rocks mass


This parameter controls the mass of rocks or bonuses!

Random Rocks


This parameter controls the generation randomness of rocks of bonuses (dimensions, rotation)!

Maze height


Fundamental option!
This parameter controls the complexity and height of procedurally generated mazes.
MIN VALUE: the labyrinth is flat, no climbs or descents, and less complex.
MAX VALUE: the maze is with climbs and descents, with full size.

Music and effects volume


This parameter controls the volume for music and sound effects!

In this way every aspect of the controls and the gameplay is infinitely customizable!

Zipple World: definitive gameplay improvement!

Hello everyone,
we finally achieved the goal that many players asked us for a long time: a stable and solid gameplay, described below!

Improved Zipple intelligence


Now if Zipple reaches the border of a platform, then the frog's run stops!
This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to fall in the void while you run, and you can fall only because of external events (enemies, dynamic rocks of obstacles) or during the jump.


Improved camera


It has been increased the speed of camera rotation, which in this way follows more precisely and quickly the direction of Zipple.
This makes it easier to choose the right direction in the run.
