Update v03222023 Blessings Data Fix, FF Throws, Gabbage Mon Throw Text
v03222023 fixes: blessings being deleted when deleting a save file mons spawning during "send off" scene after successful spectral scan
changes: light vault blessing changed to light elevator new text when trying to throw monster gabbage. players getting confused by "requires lvl 3" All throws are sped up by FF again. Eyescalibur gives 1.5x whispers if FF blessing is on
Blessings were being deleted when deleting a save file that you've reached the Husbandman at. This update aims to fix that. Let me know if there are any issues. You should be able to delete a save where you've unlocked a blessing, start a new file, and see that blessing pop up in the intro.
Also, talking to another community member about throw speed with FF blessing, I've changed it back so FF affects throw speed. This also includes Eyescalibur which now gives 1.5x whispers if FF blessing is in use.

Accidentally left the debug console on that displays some info on screen. This update disables it.

changes: added alt colors for taxi driving and mole carrying home add "rules" menu option to squat game after losing so you can re read the rules if needed cutscene where Riley smacks the dome only plays once now. people were running into accidentally during tater's minigame, and running into it when trying to ram the dome as a cat Riley now spawns on bridge instead of pipe so you can talk to them more easily to replay the cutscene Game now recognizes the last input device plugged in as the device you want to use for the game. FF having an effect on throw speed. Important for eyescalibur whispers door icons no longer affected by FF

fixes: music not stopping after meeting husbandman correct map music not playing for husbandman's zone control mapping being sped up by FF not being able to map wasd or right analog sticks various control mapping bugs
changes: beating the game when all save files are unlocked already will bring you to the staff roll instead of directly back to the file select moon now repeats herself about finding johnny to fix the elevator. people sometimes skipped the cutscene dialogue and weren't sure where to go able to press ESC to reset controls at anytime during the mapping process or in the mapping menu. useful if you get stuck default resolution set to 1280x720. this is required, and one step toward getting Steam Deck certified
Since I did work to the input system, this update will reset your config files. Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Update v03182023 Zuko Shop Slots, Shake Down Soft Lock, Global Pause, Temple
v03182023 fixes: temple not changing after giving martin the key soft lock if you shake down a mon and it gets kicked by another mon mon shake down time being scaled by fast forward zuko shop only having 4 slots when it should be 6. if you're on an existing file, change will take effect after sleeping
changes: you can now pause the game and access the settings or return to the title screen at any time. not dependent on Home's state anymore. So people can change settings during cutscenes, or exit to the title whenever they want. Useful if you get softlocked in game and want to return to the title without restarting the game.

Update v03172023 Temple Mons REALLY Fixed!

fixes: mons not showing up in temple correctly still, causing soft lock in some cutscenes and preventing echo collection after martin ascends. I used 24K's beta branch to get help testing from the Discord, so shout out to them
changes: mon location assignment is now staggered so one location doesn't get more than the others. in some cases this could cause mons not to spawn at moon's ship or the temple simplified temple level data loading so the game doesn't have to reassign a mon's location which was causing issues. another case of old code being way too complex for what it needed to be removed pre release message

03162023 fixes: rewards+ ui showing on all boxes even without the blessing mons not spawning in temple after martin ascends softlock caused by trying to get an echo from the temple after marin ascends mons spawning in weird locations due to persistence errors
changes: removed mon position persistence. too complicated and not needed for anything. mons will spawn in same position every time you load their map
Kind of a big deal that mon position persistence is gone. It was very old code, and their persistence was overly complicated and causing issues. Please let me know if you have any issues with mons spawning.
