Notes: This is our first major update using analytics to balance the game. All changes were based on feedback from the community, conversations among developers, and supported by analytic data about enemy lethality and item popularity. This is the largest "balance" update we have done and we hope we got things to a better place. But if we missed the mark in any way, please let us know!
If this goes well, we hope to have the new content on the main branch next week!

We're devoted to making this game as good as we can! There will be bug-fixes and new items in the next week. And next month we'll be introducing our fourth character - Satchel! There's tons of new content on its way including more items, more enemies, more bosses, more lore, and much more!
One of the biggest concerns has been meta-progression. Right now when you die, the game is over and you don't get any permanent upgrades. This will be resolved shortly! The game is in Early Access and we have new content being worked on! Each time the player does a run, they'll get permanent resources that they can use to upgrade their town, plant plants, build buildings, and attract new villagers! This will be released by February of next year, and we will work to have some meta-progression in the game even before then.
