Added the ability to interact with AI ships and traditionally fixed some bugs :)
Added the ability to give orders to other ships of your faction. Now, when you come close to another ship, a menu appears with which you can choose which order to give to this ship (unless of course it also belongs to the pirates). So, you can make any allied ship accompany you or go to the nearest city.
Fixed a bug due to which warships, accidentally colliding with other ships of the same faction, attacked these ships.
Fixed a bug due to which ships in some cases got stuck in cities.
Update to 0.5.2
Added calculation of air in the holds (thanks to player sharprig for pushing me with this idea). Now the internal empty spaces in the ship’s structure located below the water level add buoyancy to the ship. Also, a number of blocks can now be located below the water level, but only in the internal spaces of the ship: - Sailors, gunners, marines (previously could not be located below water level) - Bags of grain (previously could not be located below the water level) - Stock of canvas (previously it was possible to have even overboard) - Leaves (previously it could be placed even overboard) The holds in the ships created before this update may be bugged and not give additional buoyancy to the ship (apparently old wood gives leaks), but it can be fixed, by a couple turnings the ship 180 degrees, and then adding some block in to the hold.
Update to 0.5.1
Fixed a bug that appeared with the addition of an editor, causing the game to crash when trying to create a new game in some cases. Sorry for the long wait. I can not compensate for the time and nerves that you spent waiting for the correction of this bug, but soon the New Year holidays and to smooth my mistake I put 14 blocks of leaves in your inventory in this update. You will find them when you start a new game. Let your ship decorate the tree or your wallet be replenished with coins from their sale.
Update to 0.5.0
Added map editor. If you want to make some kind of special map, or if you wanted to start a game in which only a few large empires are present, now you can do it.
Improved ships spawn system. Now, cities controlled by AI will try to build only such ships for which they have enough resources. Thanks to the player sharprig for drawing my attention to problems with ships spawn (I hope now they disappear).
Update to 0.4.3
Fixed an old bug due to which the turn of the ship without a wheel by 180 degrees did not work correctly. Now, as the coordinates of the rotation axis before setting the wheel, the coordinates of the first placed block are used.
Fixed a bug due to which the coordinates of the blocks placed after the ship turned 180 degrees could be shifted, which could interfere with the construction of blocks around.
Fixed a bug that led to incorrect determination of the depth of rendering blocks relative to the cursor after turning the ship 180 degrees.
Fixed incorrect green backlighting of such blocks as crew, guns, sails, etc., when trying to place them on a support below the water level.
Update to 0.4.2
This is a small update that fixes some serious bugs.
Changed map generation. Removed redundant check of the location of cities when loading previously generated maps, which could lead to the disappearance of cities from the map in some cases.
Fixed a bug that led to the crash of the game when trying to open the list of ships.
Changed the function of the button "Publish to Steam Workshop". Now it remains unavailable until the published ship can not stay on the water and develop at least some speed. This is done in order to avoid "clogging" the Steam Workshop with unfinished ships.
Update to 0.4.1
Changed AI behavior in battle. Now, ships driven by AI are capable of imposing boarding combat themselves, if they are confident of their superiority in manpower. Stock up on the marines :)
Once again, the color palette has been redesigned. More shades are now available.
Fixed a bug with generating sprites of ships, due to which horizontal stripes appeared on the masts and sails of some ships, as if they were cut into pieces.
Fixed incorrect hit boxes of some buttons.
Fixed a bug related to the non-loading of cities, in some cases, which led to the crash of the game.
Update to 0.4.0
There is only few changes in this update, but dont go away...
Added support for Steam Workshop. Now you can publish your ships (and cities) in the Steam Workshop, as well as download the ships of other players. You can publish your ship directly from the game, for which the "Publish to Steam Workshop" button was added. You can get a ship created by another player by subscribing to it in the Steam Workshop. After you subscribe to the ship you are interested in the next time you start the game, this ship will appear in your drawing library. I hope the opportunity to share your designs will serve as a good motivation for further creativity :)
Fixed a bug due to which when starting a new game from Steam Cloud, the ship from the previous game was loaded.
Update to 0.3.2
Added support for Steam Cloud. Now your progress in the game and blueprints can also be saved on Steam Cloud.
Changed the blueprint library. Now it has an unlimited number of slots.
Changed the color palette. More colors are now available.
Fixed a bug due to which, when there were not enough blocks to build a ship from the blueprint, some types of blocks a not displayed.
Update to 0.3.1.
Now in battle, when displaying a ship based on its design, the colors in which the blocks were painted are also displayed.
Added an inscription informing about the lack of blocks when trying to load a drawing, for which there are currently not enough materials. A list with the image of the missing blocks and their number is also displayed.
Added cooldown between boardings. Now in case of aborting the boarding you need to wait a few seconds before you can start it again.
Fixed a bug that led to incorrect saving of the city in case of loading from the blueprint. Previously, when loading a city from the blueprint, the name of the city also changed, which led to the preservation of another city corresponding to the new name.
