Added change of time of day. At night on the global map decreases the radius of the review. In battles, depending on the time of day, the sea can see 1 of 4 types of lighting. In addition, the change of the time of day was introduced for the implementation of some periodic processes, some of which are implemented in the following paragraphs.
Added dynamic change in block prices. Each city can now have its own prices, which change over time. Prices depend on how much the city is provided with resources at the moment, as well as on the intensity of the trade of the player with the city of specific types of blocks. Probably the balance and rules of price changes will still be finalized.
Added 2 blocks: bags of grain and wheat (wheat as a field). Bags with grain of all-only serve as containers for transporting wheat, which can be obtained by cutting a block of bags of grain. Wheat itself is a new kind of block, absolutely useless on the ship, but interesting for city. Each block of wheat, placing in the city gives 1 unit production for this city. So once at day, the city will be able to receive the appropriate number of resources, regardless of trade. Wheat can only be installed on a sand block. Placing blocks in a city is possible by the following function:
Added ability to manage cities belonging to the player’s faction. Now going near a city, you can click the "Manage" button. This allows not only to rebuild the city as you like, but also to choose the size and type of ship that the build in city.
Improved the generation of sprites appearance of the ship based on its design. Now various bevels are displayed exactly as bevels, and not as full-fledged cubes (thus, in battle, the ship will look even more similar to what you have built).
Storms added to global map. Storms affect the speed of your ship when it is in their field of action (slowing ship or accelerating depending on the direction relative to the wind).
Fixed bugs leading to the rapid emergence of the largest ships immediately at the start of a new game.
1. Fixed a bug due to which at the start of a new game, cities could have resources from the previous game, which allowed them to quickly build even large ships.
2. Fixed the unjustified large profits from trade, obtained by the cities who owned of merchant ships.
3. Fixed a bug due to which some ships being built in the cities that changed the owner were considered as ships belonging to their original owner.
Changed the behavior of the cursor in the mode "Focus on cursor height".
Fixed a bug with incorrect highlighting of the cursor in green when trying to place certain types of blocks (sails, cannons, steering wheel) below the water level.
Update to 0.2.3
This is a small update designed to remove the next portion of the found bugs from the game.
Fixed a bug with due to which a blocks Stock of sailcloth and Leaves did not arrive in inventory after their purchase.
Fixed a bug with the presence of a button to switch information during the animation damage to the ship.
Fixed a bug due to which some buttons from the design mode could be pressed during the animation damage to the ship, although they were invisible.
Update to 0.2.2
At the request of the player Object Doom added a new block - Stock of sailcloth. Cutting this block you can get 10 sails. Now, in cities, instead of sails, a Stock of sailcloth is also sold. This is done to simplify the storage of sails (including spare ones) on the ship.
Added ship logbook. It contains information about your current quest, as well as information about the largest ships and empires in your world.
At the request of the Object Doom player in design mode, information was added on the number of sailors, gunners, soldiers, and guns of various calibers.
The number of gunners necessary to achieve a maximum rate of fire of 60 pounder guns was reduced from 4 to 3. It is assumed that a large number of guns of this caliber should be armed on the largest ships. However, a large number of gunners who are required to use such guns leads to the fact that large ships do not have room for other blocks.
Fixed a bug due to which the button to attack the city could be accidentally pressed through the trade menu or quests.
Fixed a bug with the sounds remaining from the battles when moving from the map of the world to a battle or to the construction of a ship.
Fixed a small bug due to which when you press "Z" during the construction of the effects of the shot were launched, even if the current block was not a gun.
Hotfix: fixed critical bugs in trade/quests menu.
Update to 0.2.1
This is a small update, in which the construction mode has been slightly optimized and, as a result, the animation of damage to ships too.
Update to 0.2.0
Many players wanted the ship in battle to match their creation, not only by the number of guns, speed and other characteristics, but also visually. This update is just for such players.
Implemented sprites generation for the player's ship. Now the appearance of your ship during the battle matches the design of your ship. However, the generation of sprites can significantly increase the waiting time while saving the ship, so it can be turned off in the settings (in this case, the ship will be displayed as standart sprite, as it was before). Also note that the sprite generation system will still be improved.
Added sounds of battles on the world map.
Thanks to the player Object Doom fixed a bug with the lack of description in the quests to eliminate a certain ship.
Fixed a bug due to which the shadow of the building block galloped while changing the height of the building block.
Update to 0.1.4
This is a minor update that will make this terrible building system more understandable :)
A shadow has been added to allow a better understanding of the location of the building block by the x and y coordinates during the construction of the ship.
Changed the number of blocks at the start of a new game (5 wooden semi-blocks were added). This is done so that novice players can load the simplest ship (Emperor) from the drawing library.
Thanks to the player Покайся грешник in training added a tip on how to place the sails.
The display of the mouse cursor over a ship construction is disabled, since the presence of a building block and a cursor at different heights introduced novices to confusion.
Added crew morale. So far, morality does not affect anything and will be refined.
Added shot sound and smoke when shooting from a cannon during construction.
Update to 0.1.3
It's a small update with some fixes.
At the request of the player GameYT0 in the construction of the ship added a button that allows you to lock the cursor at the height of construction. This is done to facilitate construction at high altitudes.
Fixed incorrect display of descriptions of some blocks in Chinese (descriptions of some blocks were displayed in one line).
Fixed a bug that led to the incorrect definition of connections for platforms of all types. This bug allowed to mount the placed horizontally platforms as you like, practically without supports.
Update to 0.1.2
Fixed a bug that led to an incorrect calculation of the number of cannons of 60 pounds caliber when they were removed from the ship. This bug could lead to the unjustified defeat of a ship in a battle due to the loss of only a small number of cannons.
Added a new design of cities in the form of a classic for the XVII century star-shaped fortress.
Added the ability to fire from the selected cannon right during the construction of the ship. You can use this feature to test the strength of your ship.
Added buttons x1, x10 and x100 into the block cutting menu. This will make cutting a large number of blocks more convenient.
Added new track that playing after defeating an enemy ship during construction (instead of boarding track). This is a slightly modified track from the Block of Rum trailer.
Update to 0.1.1
Added 8 blocks: bevels, corners, platforms and semi-blocks of iron and granite.
Changed the number and types of blocks getting at the start of the new game. Half blocks and deck blocks are no longer get, and the number of wooden blocks is increased, since the half blocks and deck blocks can now be obtained by sawing.
Now the cities belonging to the player, after being captured by AI ships, are rebuilt to their original state. This is done for two purposes. First, to avoid an unnecessarily easy player’s capture of a previously disarmed city. Secondly, to create a threat to the valuable blocks stored in the city, if the player uses city as a kind of warehouse.
Slightly modified the standard city. This is done to simplify the destruction of cannons in city, some of which were previously impossible to reach.
Update to 0.1.0
Added the menu of cutting blocks into two parts. With its help from more massive blocks, it will be possible to craft 2 other smaller blocks from the same material (for example: 2 wooden semi-blocks can be crafted from a wooden block). In this regard, the semi-blocks and deck blocks will no longer be sold in cities, and their cost is changed to make their craft from a wooden block is not profitable or unprofitable. This is done to ensure that in the future, the trading slots of cities are occupied with the most useful things, and not clogged with many blocks of different shapes.
4 new blocks has been added: a wooden bevel (a cube with a beveled corner), a wooden corner (a small triangular pyramid), a wooden platform (half of a wooden block divided horizontally or vertically) and a wooden staircase (unlike other added blocks, it is produced from deck blocks) .
Navigation lights added to naval battles.
In the settings, the option "Speed up the flight of shells" is added, this allows you to speed up the process of hitting the shells into the ship during the battle and it is possible to save time.
