Previous versions of the game were built using a bit of an old version of GameMaker and Steam SDK, but this patch has now updated them to the latest versions.
This should help with compatibility and was necessary for some future features (such as HD fonts). Ideally you shouldn't notice any difference, but there were some changes needed under the hood (in particular with the positioning of text) so let me know if something looks out of whack.
I've also added the old v3.1 patch as a selectable Beta you can roll back to just in case you run into any bigger issues. :]
Patch v3.1
//misc - Slightly darkened the floor in the "Dungeon Catacomb" Skirmish map for better readability. - The Midas Boners spell now has a limit on how many Boners that cast will turn into coins (max 3 per power level). - Augur minions will now make an attempt to ignore Barrow Boners when choosing who they cast Haste on. - The Fruity Bro minion's healing aura now slightly flashes and gives a visual effect when you're being healed (so it's easier to see). - Added a visual effect to the Bernard's Watch relic (so you can see when it's about to run out). - The rat electro totems now show a clearer visual effect earlier on as it's charging an attack (in case you can't hear the charge up sound). - Reduced the merchant buying cost of the Money Bag relic (so you get something for it).
//bug fixes - The Doppelganger minion could cause a crash when casting the Heart Wrangler spell. - Treasure chests hit by the moving Dungeon spike traps where being destroyed. - The Giant Meldus was preventing the "MELDIN TIME" achievement triggering. - You weren't being offered a Giant Meldus if you had already reached the meldus minion limit. - When using the Snowblow Snowman spell your melee minions would stop running towards enemies. - If you chose the "play again" option on game over as the Fortuity Destiny then it wasn't choosing a new random class.
Mischievous Monday #3
Greetings again fellow wretched! Just a quick bits and bobs update this Monday to get batty with. :]
A new Skirmishes map has been added called the Dungeon Catacomb, where you'll be dodging runaway boulders and pincering spike traps as well as the usual meanies. There's also a new achievement to go along with it (Dungeon Skirmish Supremacy).
A new Bellow Batty normal minion has been added who shouts a sonic wall to keep meanies at bay, as well as his deamonic minion form. A new giant has also been added called the Giantan Meldusmous, who as the name suggests is a melding of two meldus minions.
The level 3 Journal Familiar meta will now allow you to open a run stats summary upon game over. And a new meta called Astrology Divination has been added which offers a bunch of re-rolls. Note due to the way meta is saved this update might muck up which Boneraise Lore unlocks you have.
A new chest mimic has been added for a bit of a laugh and keep you on your toes when sniffing chests.
There's two new meta unlocks for the Vampire class related to the new Batty minion (Batty Friendship, Sinfulus Batty). And two new meta unlocks for the Necromancer class too (Bone Enticement, Minion Resurrection).
Added 4 new relics (Incandescent Cast, Blue Candle, Tummy Bugs, Ring of Fire) and 3 new spells (Barrow Bonebolster, Heart Wrangler, Echo of the Wilds).
Added two new music tracks (Ascending, Searching) which have also been added to the Steam Album.
And now the Boneworld Challenges have been giving a good idea of the score level of the Skirmish maps I'll be skimming back some of the more outlandish Endless Skirmishes scores which were set back at initial release when it was possible to be pretty much immortal with certain relic combinations.

Patch v2.4
//misc - Added two class meta for the Liche Necromancer (Bone Rattler, Bone Salvager), since they had less than the other classes. - The Game Over screen can now show the run time and character class. - The Status Screen now shows your character class. - The Scavenger's Mitts relic will now just give a random relic rather than offering a choice. - The Ectoplasm Poop relic now creates gravestone ghosts instead of somewhat invisible spike traps so it's easy to see their effect. - Changed some of the relic descriptions so they better explain what they do (Sullen Urn, Haunted Trinket, Jewellery Box, Ectoplasm Poop).
//bug fixes - The Fettler's Eye and Sleight of Hands class meta had wrong descriptions. - Taking the Penitence Pin relic could instantly kill you (especially if your max health was high). - Picking up two spell scrolls at the same time would swap their casting order.
Patch v2.3
//misc - In an earlier version if you rebound a key to a mouse button then it could cause control issues in current versions (it will now reset those controls back to the default if it detects this). - The Magusus Teachmoria class meta will now override the normal Magus double minion meld (it was also displaying the wrong description). - The Colossal Tooth relic now also increases the limit on Giant minions. - The Meldus Flame relic now also increases the limit on Meldus minions.
//bug fixes - The Playstation button icons displayed Square and Cross were wrongly swapped (again). If it doesn't show correct for you then in DS4Windows check the "Hide DS4 Controller" setting. - If you cast a normal spell but kept the spell button pressed and then stopped moving, it would charge up a super spell (you should always need to let go of the spell button after casting a spell to cast another). - The Wraithen Husk class meta could cause a crash if you take a Blood Pact relic. - You were unable to forget the Markings Of Depravity class meta. - The Blood Pact and Loot Box items weren't being added to your inventory which allowed them to circumvent the usual item limits. - Any banish/seals gained from the Horoscope Charm weren't being removed when used. - The Enboned Giant Barrower would ignore being banished. - Having multiple Deamon Tanglers could cause a crash when they attempted to spawn a heart. - Having multiple Deamon Tanglers would cause a slowdown during the King fight. - Some objects could spawn on the King or weren't being destroyed if fell on during his intro (eg treasure chests, tangler hearts/roots, etc).
Patch v2.2
//misc - Sorcerer Hollow: Added a new class meta Wraithen Husk which reduces damage suffered based on how many spell scrolls you carry. - Sinned Deamologist: Added a new class meta Markings Of Depravity which confers a chance off summoning a Diablos without need of a hero soul. - Slightly reduced the contact damage of high tier enemies (eg Paladins). - King Gigald: Slightly reduced his starting health. Slightly reduced his contact damage during second phase. - Added a Lock Mouse setting to the Mouse control menu which locks the mouse cursor to the game window when in focus. - The game will now hide the mouse cursor if it's over the game window. - If you were tabbed out then mouse click back into the game it will now ignore that inital mouse click action (eg so won't immediately unpause the game).
//bugs - If you chose a Blood Pact that included a Loot Box then it wasn't giving the two random Loot Box items. - The Loot Box relic had a chance of giving relics that caused issues (eg Blood Pact). - Roaming Travelers: The Wandering Merchant and Miserable Wretch had a chance of giving relics that caused issues (eg Loot Box or Blood Pact). - Having multiple Deamons of the same type wasn't triggering a Diablos summon. - The Doppleganger minion's spells weren't updating his damage stat.
Patch v2.1
//misc - Changed the default keys from D/S/A to C/X/Z (makes things much less confusing if you want to rebind the movement keys to WSAD). - Added a Mouse menu to the settings where you can rebind the mouse buttons (this is mainly so there's a place where you can see what the mouse buttons do). - If you press the Dash/Spell/Status button during play but don't have those abilities unlocked then it will now show a little text (so you know those controls do work). - The Lord of the Land boss now does a little pant animation after his attack (so melee minions have a better chance against him). He pants more the more you've pounded him.
//bug fixes - When using the normal HUD it wasn't showing reserve spell scrolls beyond the first three. - When re-rolling a boneraise/relic/spell it was first resetting any currently set banished/sealed items. - The Magnifying Glass relic wasn't working correctly (it wrongly had a very low chance of creating a relic/spell).
Mischievous Monday #2
Welcome fellow wretched to the inaugural Mischievous Monday (which is unhelpfully titled #2 despite being the first, but ignore that as it's just to conform with the game version). :]
Mischievous Mondays are content update days and should hopefully occur every couple of weeks, or more or less frequently depending on the content. Smaller patches with bug fixes and balance tweaks will still go on through the week if needed, but all new content and features will come on Mondays.
In today's update a new class has been added called the Sorcerer Hollow. He specialises in collecting and casting powerful spells, which alongside his Doppleganger chums creates a hell of a mess.
A new Endless Skirmishes map has been added called the Pumpkiny Patch, where haunted scarecrows and unfathomably fat pumpkins grow.
Added 3 new music tracks (Arpanauts, All Of Us, A Night Of Dizzy Spells) which have also been added to the Steam Album.
Added 6 achievements related to new content but also a Gigald challenge run you'll probably forget about.

Oh and some bug fixes while I'm here... - The Playstation button icons displayed Square and Cross wrongly swapped. - The Bone Seer meta could allow you to endlessly re-roll when boneraising from a hero soul. - The Lord of the Land could cause a crash if you touched him at the end of his attack. - When leveling up a minion it would sometimes level up the wrong minion if there were multiple of the same type. - When the Deamologist summons a Deamon it wasn't immediately updating the maximum health boost. - The Itemography was closing if you pressed the Spell button instead of the Menu Back button. - Meta that reduced your starting max health wasn't also reducing your starting health (despite what the lying HUD says). - Wizards would sometimes face the wrong way when firing their magical loads. - Treasure chests could sometimes spawn at the extreme bottom of the map.
Patch v1.14
//misc - Added a Declutter Floor setting which minimises visual floor effects (eg, mud, flames, hexes, etc). - Gamepad: If the face buttons aren't assigned to an action then they will now also function as menu actions (eg for an XBox pad if you set Dash to trigger, then both trigger and A button will function as Menu Confirm). - Endless Skirmishes: Played around with the enemy multiplier, increasing the enemy variety and amount early on and slowing the overall multiplier down so games last longer.
//bug fixes - The Endless Skirmishes related achievements could be gotten in the Boneworld Challenges mode. - The Endless Skirmishes online leaderboards weren't displaying the current map name. - Architect Mode: Buying a contraption in the same slot as an existing contraption could result in you exceeding the 9999 gold coin cap. - Status Screen: The selector wasn't resetting between runs. - Some events that give you max health (eg eating a Fruit Bush) wasn't quite giving you full health if you had a very high max health.

//misc - Added default mouse button support. This is independent of keyboard so both keyboard/mouse actions will work seperately and update the menu icons automatically. - Added a new meta for the Vampire class called Marrow Might which increases your suckage damage based on your max health (each point of max health above 100 increases damage by 1%). - The Vampire's Marrow Succor meta max health bonus when sucking enemies has been doubled. - Increased King Gigald's health. - Increased the damage Deamon Boomeranger's rangs do. - The Virginial Bow health regen cap now only applies in the Endless Skirmishes game mode.
//bug fixes - When offered a boneraise minion that combines minions (eg giant) it would sometimes try to combine the same minion. - When rebinding a key to number pad 1/3/7/9 it wasn't displaying the correct key name. - The Vampire's Blood Constitution meta wasn't working correctly. - When choosing an item, using a re-roll wasn't reseting any currently banished/sealed items. - The Pumpkin Bro minion often wasn't exploding when close to bosses.
