Xmas Art Competition

I thought it would be a nice idea to bring out the festive Boogeyman creativity this Christmas.

Submit any Boogeyman artwork in the artwork section for a chance to win a copy of Boogeyman. Anyone can submit, even if you already own the game (I'm sure a friend would appreciate the gift).

There will be 10 winners!
The results will be announced on Christmas eve (24th December).

Opse I did it again...

During optomising the game I may have changed a few things for the better... and this may have corrupted previous save progress.

The solution?


The game now comes with a save recovery tool in the menu.
Just click it and carry on where you left of, it's as simple as that.

Some issues were fixed that were causing poor performance.

More optomisation will be made soon.

This should improve performance by 15-20% hopefully more.

I missed an audio clipping issue again too which I fixed.

As always, please tell me if you find any issues at all, no matter how small. They will be fixed asap :)

• Fixed audio clipping.
• Press enter to skip tape recordings. (Don’t spam it unless you want to play the Dr Who theme tune.)

Note: 2.0 is coming along nicely. Lots of progress.

To confirm: You will be able to walk around, and explore the house. A different side of the story will also be revealed in the added extra game play.

1.2.1 Cheating Boogeyman!

The Boogeyman has been cheating… he found loop holes in my code.

• Closet Boogeyman ignoring flashlight at start fixed.
• Boogeyman sometimes attacking after 6am fixed.
• Boogeyman ignoring the reduced risk of been under bed after flash on night 6 + 7 fixed.

1.2 VR UI support + First update out of early access.

The game has now left alpha. The game is free of 100% of bugs (As far as I’m aware, tell me if you find any!... I'm sure someone will). The gameplay is balanced, challenging, and complete with a story. The only thing left to do now is add in the extra content (new rooms) and game modes. This will be complete for January. Think of all the extra content to come as free DLC. You can play the game now and enjoy a full experience, or you can wait a little while longer and experience the additional content on top of that.

Thanks for all the Early Access support! :) Just because its left alpha doesn’t mean there is not plenty more to come. I’ll keep working on this until I’m satisfied it is as enjoyable as it can be with plenty of extra content. (I have not forgotten about multiplayer).
