FIXED some odd looking detail areas that didn't blend well together
Changes & Additions:
Added a new Steam Achievement
Added new side quest "Shady Shipment" (Has two different ways to complete/options)
Added new environment details to several areas
Added corporate goon battlers (2 so far)
Added Corporate enemy faction (Corporate goons: +5% To Hit, +5% Critical Chance --- Beware, these guys are tough --- Will be used in the next update and future updates)
Added corporate security enemy type
Added corporate hitman enemy type
Added a corporate enemy troop setup
Updated random encounter lists
SCPD enemies can now throw (Also drop when they die) gas grenades (This includes the corrupt cops)
Continued balancing work on enemy stats
Slightly adjusted and rebalanced the hit type dice roll mechanics for grazes, solid hits, and regular hits (Regular hits are a little more common and grazes and solid hits are a little less common --- The idea is to still have some randomness to combat with this change, but make damage a little more consistent so you don't see long periods of crappy hits or excellent hits without getting any criticals)
Added new item icon art
Added new plot related items
Some various minor optimization improvements

10/14/24 - Chaos Chain Update 1.57.0

Here is the next update for the game. Unfortunately, I had some bad luck with some things that I had to deal with for a few days, so I'm a bit behind on this update's work, and due to this, not as much got done. Either way, here's what I have ready.

BETA Update 1.57.0 Changelog:
Bug Fixes:
FIXED a broken dialogue option with Zick
FIXED a couple of typos
Changes & Additions:
Added Laser Designator support equipment (+3% To Hit, +2% Critical Chance, +35% Painted) "IDENTIFY TARGET!"
Updated several shop listings
Anytime and any place you're in the player apartment area, you get increased stamina regeneration
Added new randomized road travel event (Free Pass)
Added new environment details to some exterior areas
Added some new item icon art
Balancing pass on all enemies (All enemies lost some health and mettle, others lost some stats to help balance them more for what they represent)
You can now bring busted magazines to Spencer in the FSM HQ after his quest for a chance to salvage them into scrap
Added a warning message to appear after sleeping if the main character is malnourished (It tells you to eat or drink something to get rid of it)
Converted the resting processes into one giant process for using beds/sleeping spots
Sleeping spots and beds now have their options available based on rests used in a day and show in green if available
Added a mattress image to appear when using a bed/sleeping spot
Added some ambience chimes to the randomized ambient and randomized round start sound effect lists (You may remember these if you played Lawless Lands)
Added sound effect feedback for several contextual actions using "stations" (Campfires, beds, workbenches, etc)
Numerous other minor adjustments and tweaks

10/2/24 - Chaos Chain Update 1.56.2 (New District - Greywater)

Bug Fixes:
FIXED some typos
FIXED some text running off screen in certain dialogues
REMOVED a leftover testing event
FIXED a tileset page not having some new entities which were added last patch
FIXED some tileset pathing issues
FIXED some districts not having a sound effect to play when the intro is displayed on screen
FIXED a messed up map spot in Crescent Strip (Looks like something happened when drawing that spot and it got misclicked or something)
FIXED Indigio's event where you talk to her still being present after you accept her into your squad (This was caused by a change last update)
Changes & Additions:
Added new unique NPC sprites and faces
Added some new unique NPCs to interact with
Added corporate goon sprites (Thanks to Acehangman for these!!! These will be used soon!)
Added "Greywater" new sub district (Still a bit of a work in progress - you can get there by talking to "Salty" in the Industrial Zone currently - you will eventually be able to walk there like the other districts - there are currently no quests here, but there are some shops)
Minor adjustments to colors of time of day and fog effects
Gave some exterior walls some shading effects to look like grime/dirt to make them look less "cartoony"
Interior wall edges have been shaded to help focus the image on the playable area and make it look more "moody" (Inspiration comes from how Shadowrun Returns/Dragonfall/Hong Kong did their interior lighting/shading)
Reduced file size of some on screen images that display over time which will help with performance

FIXED some weirdness still going on with certain campfires not working properly
FIXED a bug where certain circumstances would make pressing escape in a choice menu select the wrong option
FIXED the bed in the derelict warehouse area not becoming available after the Helping Hands side quest
FIXED the campfire inside the derelict warehouse is now interactable (Forgot about this one)
Changes & Additions:
Updated the world map image with some new area names
Psion background now has an additional ability (Manipulate) in Verge (Gambling minigame) so they can reroll their first roll one time since the first roll is hidden to the opponent
New option for recruiting Redshift - Civic
Helping Hands side quest - reduced amount of medical supplies needed to be donated by 15% (This also means Indigo is easier to get now)

Bug Fixes:
FIXED an issue when using certain items in the inventory, the amount of the item wouldn't update until you left the window and returned
FIXED an issue with choice conditions breaking certain menu options from working if they were the default "cancel" option (Happened in certain cases)
Changes & Additions:
Datamine chip now accounts for all party members to see if anyone has this equipped to get the benefits (Doesn't stack though - that would be WAY too OP)
Added Dirty Water consumable item
Added Iodine Tablets usable item (Can be used to purify dirty water on the go)
Added Clean Water crafting recipe (You can add iodine tablets from the inventory or you can add them at a crafting station)
Using an item from the inventory will now automatically close the selection window so you don't accidentally use the item multiple times by mistake
On Edge talent now allows you to choose if you want to stand and fight off an ambush or escape instead of just auto escaping
Added new item icon art
Added new road travel event "Makeshift Barricade"
You can now boil dirty water at any campfire (The profit from boiling and then selling water is significant - 5x profit)
Updated randomized loot drop lists
Updated medical shop lists
Updated soulless and scavver enemy loot drop lists
Updated code for conditional branches in dialogues (Please let me know if there are any issues with this, I could not find any in my testing)
