Hey guys!
Here's another sneak peak at the graphics for the new update:
The update is very close to completion, I'm hoping to finish it before christmas or new years!
Also, the type 65 coupe and the mk4 roadster will feature animated suspension systems as well as improved damage physics for all vehicles (wheels can now be smashed in and cause damage to steering linkages)
Cheers!

Yet another teaser video for 3.04
Hello racers!
I've been hard at work redoing the game and I'm proud to say it will be ready for release soon, here's a quick 1 minute raw video of the Nyzan GTX going around the new Barcelona circuit demonstrating the improved handling, graphics, performance and engine sound.

3.04 is coming...
While you are waiting for 3.04 to come out, enjoy this in game screenshot showing off the new lighting and shading...
I don't have an ETA yet, but at the rate I am going at, it shouldn't take much longer.
Here's what to expect:
Completely overhauled framework
Glitch-free game manager/spawning system
NVIDIA Ansel integration
New Track - Barcelona
Improved Monza - 3D trees, new textures, new grandstands, pit garages
New sky/weather system
Smaller build size
Removal of redundant/deprecated assets
Improved UI
Higher average framerates
Improved handling for racing AI
Updated to Unity 2017
New driver model - proper racing jumpsuit and helmet, fixed inverse kinematics issues with awkward bone rotations; more lifelike movement (reacts to g-force)
More features TBD based on timeframe
Many of you guys have complained about the vehicle handling, I'm doing my best at improving it, the original author has abandoned the pacakge completely. I'm in the process of hiring additional manpower to work on the physics and vehicle models so bear with me on that.
Anyways,
Thanks for your continued support and I am looking forward to turning Corona MotorSport into a success..

Update 3.02 Progress
Hey guys!
Update 3.02 will be releasing as soon as possible, in a effort to improve the overall quality of the game, I decided to rebuild the project from the ground up. AKA, create a new project folder in unity and copy the bare essentials over and rework the core framework of the game. This will eliminate redundant assets (reduce build size and build time), allow me to improve vehicle physics until a new package is available or I develop an in-house solution, re-do lighting, scene management and just improve the overall game experience. This will also allow me to fix issues with the racing AI.
As noted in the roadmap, Mac and Linux support have been pushed back to the next update. The main reason is compatibility, the resolution manager does not work on Linux (compiler errors, uses windows only libraries) and technical difficulties with getting the right linux driver for my graphics card to utilise all available power. Same issue with Mac support. Once I can provide a workaround, I'll start supporting Mac and Linux.
As for multiplayer, that's still a work in progress, thanks to everyone that is participating in the closed beta, I'm working hard on fixing the bugs and optimizing the experience.
I do have some good news: Update 3.02 will also feature a new track!
Thanks for your continued support!

Mac and Linux Support Coming Next Update!
Hey guys!
I'm pleased to announce that I will officially begin support for Mac and Linux based systems for Corona MotorSport starting with the next update! This has been heavily requested ever since the game launched on Early Access and I look forward to fulfilling that request ASAP. I'll also continue working on multiplayer and fixing several bugs that have arisen within it. As far as I know, cross platform multiplayer (PC/Mac/Linux) should be possible with the multiplayer setup I'm using, I'd have to double check that.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of your summer!

Update 3.01 is live!
Hey guys!
I think I might have broken my record of the shortest amount of time between updates, just two weeks! 3.01 is mainly a bugfix update so there isn't really any new content other than full controller support, refined ui, removal of the config popup, and a refined menu.
What's New?
Full controller support - Resolution popup now built into game, first time setup will occur for everyone, resolution can be adjusted at the main menu any any time. Mouse also hidden at specific times to improve gameplay, color picker is kind of buggy but it will get the job done. Mouse/keyboard input still required for tuning menu and multiplayer.
Refined Main Menu - UI improvements, camera smoothly rotates around when selecting car/choosing color

Update 3.0 is live!!!
Hey guys,
Apologies for the huge delay, but I can assure you this update was worth the wait!
What's New?
Complete graphics/shader overhaul
Replaced image effects with Post-Processing Stack - updated, more realistic image effects mixed into one controller for better performance
New color grading for all levels, follows ACES color standards.
Updated engine to Unity 5.6
Redesigned Tonnerre Serpent and Serato Conquistador, damage enabled for both as well
3D tire system (experimental) - enabled on certain vehicles only. Multiple contact points on each wheel are recognized instead of a single contact point for more realistic suspension simulation.
Updated weather system and lighting
New map - Taghkanic circuit. Small winding circuit in the outskirts of New York, not completely finished, terrain needs texturing, Freeroam only.
Multiplayer closed beta - Spots are still available! Sign up below! Includes Monza Track Day, 20 players max.

Multiplayer beta testers wanted...
Hey guys!
In preparation for the launch of Update 3.0, I need 19 people to sign up to beta test the multiplayer mode of the game. Those who already own the game will be given priority, but if you do not have a copy, you may still apply. I expect update 3.0 to be ready in the next few days. Multiplayer will be open to the public a few weeks after the launch of 3.0, so if you don't want to wait, apply now!! A link to apply can be found below:
Apply here Thanks!

Update 3.0 Status Update
Hey guys,
I'm hoping to have Update 3.0 out by the end of May, I've been bogged down with finals and busywork so I haven't had much time to work on Corona. Multiplayer functionality is almost ready and all that remains is to improve UI and fix a few bugs. I've also drastically reduced the poly count of the Serato Conquistador and redesigned the car entirely:
Thank you all for your patience and continued support!
I have a suprise coming along with Update 3.0 as well :)
