Hey guys,
I have been working hard on getting Update 3.0 ready for release, multiplayer is almost ready, the basic framework is complete (connect to master server and spawn a chosen car) with only some optimization and UI left to complete. As mentioned earlier, I have also upgraded the shaders used for vehicles and I am in the process of improving the UI and polishing some imperfections with the vehicle/environment models. I've gone ahead and redesigned the Tonnerre Serpent, shown below.
I'm hoping to have 3.0 out soon :)

2 Years and Counting...
2 years ago today, Corona MotorSport was officially released for sale on the Steam Store. It has been an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to publish on this great platform and I look forward to many more years of publishing. To celebrate, Corona MotorSport is 50% all week :) Be sure to check out the new trailer as well! I am also happy to announce that Corona MotorSport will be transitioning from Early Access to a full release sometime later this year, since I am ahead of schedule!
On another note, Update 3.0 (I've decided to lump 2.09 into 3.0 since it will be a major release) will be coming out by the end of the month. The basic framework of the multiplayer functionality is complete (master server setup, car spawning, time/weather syncing), feel free to check out the roadmap in the discussions for more detailed info about what to expect in the update.
As always, Thanks for your continued support

Multiplayer Early Access Coming Soon!!!!
Hey guys!
Great news, I've officialy started working on multiplayer for the game! It's going quite well so far, I've managed to get a very basic test scene running that will autoconnect to a master server, I can drive the car I set up around with ease and with only a tad bit of jitter/lag, some more tinkering with the serialization scripts should do the trick. So, in order to anticipate what's next for the alpha version of Corona MotorSport Multiplayer, please read below.
The Multiplayer Testing Phase
As of now, the hosting solution I am using to test multiplayer functionality is Photon Unity Networking, their free plan allows 20 concurent users (CCU), which is plenty for the first phase of testing (would probably last 3-4 weeks). During the first phase, the multiplayer will be open to anyone with a copy of the game to access, however, only 20 users (including myself) would be able to play at one time, so play sessions would be limited to approximately 30 minutes per person with unlimited reconnections. So you could play for 30 minutes, the server would automatically kick you after 30 minutes to allow others to try it out, but if there's room, you are welcome to rejoin.
So during the first 3-4 weeks of multiplayer, there would be one trackday server (choose a car, and just drive around with other people) with a limit of 20 people. After working out all the bugs, I'll upgrade to 100CCU, which would allow 5 servers with up to 20 people each. I'll keep going and adding more user capicity based on demand.
Dedicated server hosting by third parties (that's you guys!) would also be available in the future as well as LAN multiplayer and split screen multiplayer.

Update 2.09 coming soon, and a giveaway too!
Update 2.09
Hey guys!
Update 2.09 will be releasing soon, for a full list of features, head on over to the Roadmap in the discussions. I have added full controller support for this update, which will allow me to remove the little popup box before the game that forces you to use a mouse and a keyboard, so resolution/graphics settings/etc will be handled in game. The game will function flawlessly with any major controller, So far its been tested with a PS4 controller and it works very well, I have yet to test the xbox 360, xbox one, and ps3 controllers. They should work but I need to test them.
As always, thank you for your continued support!

Update 2.08b out now!
Hey guys,
Apologies for the delay of this patch, I've been quite busy with midterms/finals. This update is mainly a bug fix update so not much is new, hope you guys enjoy!
What's New?
Volumetric Grass re-added - originally present in 1.x versions of Corona MotorSport
Fixed bugs with ground and car shaders not displaying rain fx properly (not fixed on daytona or monza race, will be patched tomorrow)
Added barriers on Monza AI map to prevent player from cutting through track and causing catastrophic errors with AI position calculation
Main menu - Added a requested option to orbit around the car by holding the right mouse button and dragging with the mouse
Improved driver animation (MK4 Roadster only, all vehicles will feature new animation with patch) - Steering wheel now rotates 450 degrees instead of 135 degrees, driver hands will reposition automatically as well as gear shift animation (arm only, pedal/leg animation coming shortly)
Fixed bug with end race stats button being able to be clicked several times, which would cause the game to break
Removed several unused shaders/assets
For a list of features to come, please visit the roadmap, which can be found by clicking here. Thank you all for your continued support!

Update 2.08 with Racing AI Is Finally Here!!!!!!
This is it guys! Ever since the game first launched on Early Access the most demanded feature were NPCs to race against. Well, your requests have been answered this fine Christmas day: Update 2.08 features the return of the racing AI, which was so briefly featured in an earlier version before being stripped away due to the technical problems and coding nightmares that came along with it. Well, this one had a few nightmares of its own, but I've managed to integrate it into Corona.
What's new?
Racing AI - a full list of known bugs and issues that are being fixed can be found here
Misc bug fixes/performance improvements
I look forward to bringing you all many more updates and from all of us at LucasGame Studios
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! Update 2.08 releasing later today
Hey guys,
This is a short post, but Update 2.08 will be releasing later today, I was hoping to finish it by midnight, but it's past midnight and I've got a few bugs left to fix so I'll release it later today.

Update 2.08 - Racing AI Edition releasing this week!!!
This is it guys! The update you all have been waiting (very) patiently for. A early version of the AI will be included in the Update 2.08 release, it is fully functional, there will be some bugs (lol) but we are in Early Access for a reason! With your help, we can fine tune and polish the AI to perfection. I'm currently working on the spawning system for the AI so that it can interact with the existing game manager in the game, the actual racing lines and track setups are complete. I cna confirm a release for sometime this week. More info on the AI and the update including a new trailer will follow, in the meantime, enjoy 2 screenshots I captured of the AI in action :)
Thank you for your continued support and from all of us at LucasGame Studios,
Happy Holidays!

Update 2.07c out now!
Hey guys,
Update 2.07c is here! A few bugfixes and some new content will make their debut in this update!
What's new?
Updated Unity to 5.4.2 - misc bug fixes and improvements
Updated cinematic image effects in-game
Modeled new high-poly side railings for Monza
Hopefully* patched all remaining holes in Monza (special thanks to Snuzi for pointing those out)
Misc bug fixes and optimizations - Tip: Screen Space Reflections are resource intensive, disabling this effect may substantially increase your framerate, disable it via the settings menu in-game
New car - Serato Uragano (second car in main menu)
I hope you all enjoy this update! I look forward to providing many more!
Thank you all for your continued support and Happy Thanksgiving!

Project Roadmap now available
Hey guys,
Since the game's first alpha release, many have wondered what's next for Corona MotorSport and when can they expect it. I have the solution to that problem:
We now have a roadmap available for viewing in the discussions, it is updated daily so go and check it out! It's a bit archaic since the steam discussions aren't meant for much more than quick messages but it gets the job done, I'll make one available on my website shortly but in the mean time: CHECK IT OUT!!!
