It's going to be a few days before I get another big patch in place, and I wanted to get these issues fixed ASAP so i can push the latest changes out to the Humble Bundle peeps this weekend. Boom. Fixed a bunch of stuff that came up recently (thx Exige & Reise92!) in addition to some additional game-type stuff and of course NEW WEAPONS! woo. :) Hope you enjoy. They get better as you upgrade em. Also, just for Joe @ TenguDrop, i've now randomized 'when' or 'what planet' bosses now attack you. So you never can tell. ;) You're welcome, Joe. Mwahaha.

Quick Update 0.148
I wanted to get this update posted and out of the way as it fixes a couple issues with the UI / Menu Selecting on the store and in the pause menu. For some reason the mouse was glitching on to the wrong option sometimes so I've fixed and it should be a lot more responsive now. I also updated the gravity when entering / exiting a planet's atmosphere. Honestly, after playing the game daily for over a year, i can honestly its a game changer.. It feels so nice to just leave a planets atmosphere instantly and I even love the little 'skid' he does when you land on a planet at top speed. OK -- I'm back to working on the content-y stuff. :)

Quick Patches 0.146
After some feedback in the forums, and watching some Let's Plays (SUP Joe@TenguDrop!!!!), etc, I noticed a few bugs that have been promptly dealt with. This should get most things sorted from the last build, and I've already started working on the next major changes for upcoming builds including a complete gravity overhaul, New Bosses, new weapons, costumes, story and artifacts. WOAH! MEGA BUILD! 0.145
Well, my friends... we're getting closer and closer to having a finished game here.. Ive been working on some huge updates all month, including new enemies, hazards, bosses, mechanics, and all sorts of goodies to start preparing Cosmochoria for it's final phase of development: Story.
Essentially the (normal) enemies are now complete. Everyone you encounter in the game is where it's going to stand for now. More enemies might come later (actually at least one will for sure.. he's half programmed already...) and there will be at least 3 more bosses completed, but I am so very happy with the variety that the game has at this point. ESPECIALLY THIS NEW BOSS. Wow..
I could talk for days about the stuff that's in this latest build. But I wont. Here's a list of what I've done. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, please drop them in the comments, or post in the discussion forum! Hope you guys are having fun. :D

NEW BOSS: BOSSWORM - the amount of time i spent on this one boss was worthy of an update in itself, i promise you guys this is the single greatest thing Ive ever done so far in my life. I hope you enjoy kicking his ass after you figure out how.

NEW CORE MECHANIC!! Treasure Chests appear when completing a planet. Chests contain crystals, bases, costumes and artifacts (artifacts coming soon).

NEW HAZARDS: TEJON MONUMENT: prevents you from using your jetpack if you are caught nearby. Can be destroyed.

Gravity now reverse proportional to planet size. (ie opposite of reality… small planets = small jumps, giant planets = moon jump) Let me know what you think of this...

- Fixed Ice dragon causing ALL bullets to be ice! (So Sorry for this!!!)
- Reduce knockback distance on all enemies
- Eliminate Knockback entirely on hives - was sending them into the planet haha.
- VacuumDragon gives a powerup.
- Takes VacuumDragon more shots before he rushes at you.
- VacuumDragon rushes at you with slower speed.
- Shooting VacuumDragon charges up his big crystal blast.
- Show Crystal points / crystal value upon collection
- Matched Diamond points = diamond value to eliminate confusion
- Sattelleyes Drop Timebombs sooner / closer to the surface
Build 141: New Enemies & BOSS! HNY :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Well I know it's not 2015 yet, but I'll jump on the chance to type anything in capital letters. I want to thank each and every one of you for making my fall / winter season so awesome. There have been a lot of amazing comments, reviews and feedback posted on Steam and I wanted to tell you what it means to me as a new developer to have that sort of positive support. It means a lot.. A LOT!!! Ok, again with the capital letters.
Anyway, there have been some great new updates finished up in the past week or so. Including new Jelly Enemies, and their bum head of a boss: BigJelly.
To celebrate the addition of this new boss, I've added some sick new tunes and tweaked the placement of the boss stuff a bit, but hopefully you encounter the boss without too much difficulty. If you dont find him, let me know and I can drop a hint or a straight up spoiler on how to get him to show up.
In addition to that there have been some more general updates, tweaks and optimizations. Here's the good stuff though:
NEW ENEMY: LilJelly

New Music: Specific to Mothership and BigJelly Bosses.
Laser Sword can now charge up by holding the swipe button. Charged sword shoots a laser.
Fixed issue with sword not damaging bosses correctly.
Reduced health of mothership boss.
When fighting mothership, jetpack regenerates faster?!?!?!? Must be some sort of special field.
Hitting mothership in her weak spot causes heavier damage.
Moai Moai Statues now slowly regenerate completed planets.
Reduced frequency of wasps spawning slightly
Slightly Reduced frequency of UFO’s in early game.
Reduced damage from fireballs.
Made Fireballs do damage in a ‘hit’ style, triggering your adrenalin / invincibility so multi fireballs cant decimate you.
Anyways, thanks again for the amazing support this year. If you like what you've been getting in this game, I would love a steam review from you! Build 140: Tweaks to that Last Build :)

0.140 Changelog:
Randomly Spawn some normal diamonds in the field like 2-3 per game.
Reduced amount of Evil Diamonds slightly.
Crystal Monster can only eat 10 crystals at a time. If he’s full dont eat more.
First Boss drops a Diamond instead of Gems.
Increased time where Sucking Dragon is ‘warming up’ to shoot. If you kill him before he shoots, he will give back all crystals he took.
Made hearts partially transparent.
Explosions no longer remove powerup.
Make Legit diamonds tink on bullet hit
Music @ -50db = off. Dont play at all.

Build 0.137 - More Maintenance Type Stuff
Hey pals, so I've got the latest build posted - 0.137 -- skipped a couple version numbers simply due to a bunch of crazy changes and updates with Construct 2 (the engine im using to make Cosmochoria).. They've gone through a bunch of major revisions and stuff lately, so i was saving extra versions of my work as I tested their new versions to make sure everything works. Some good news is that with the latest Construct 2 version i should be able to output some proper 64 bit builds for OSX and Windows, which is nice. The bad news is I spent a long time trying to do that today and to no avail, unfortunately there are just too many issues with their latest version its not jiving well in a playable sense. Hopefully that gets fixed but it's coming!
Anyways here's what I've been working on the past week or so (with the exemption of some barebones code of a few more hazards and enemies which should make it into next week's build).
Any questions, or issues, don't hesitate to drop em here or in the bug forum.

- Enabled gamepad / keyboard nav on in-game pause menu.
- Egg Hatching sequence cancels out the calm timer.
- Added plant count as they are completed - to show how many plants you’ve planted. Should appear as score above you as you plant. Adds to your score too.
- Robot Touch Damage happening again
- Fixed Store prices not showing up on purchase confirm screen.
- In-game Full pause / Options menu. Now synced up too so adding options to the title screen will add to in-game menu too. Thanks Scirra for global layers!!
