Today we've released another nice update to Cue Club 2 with some fun new feature enhancements and a few fixes too.
In theatre venues, 3 levels of audience applause are now available. At the lowest level, spectators will clap only for very good shots. At higher settings they are more generous with applause. Go to 'Options > Match Settings > Venue > Audience Applause'.
Spectators recognise a greater range of good shots, particularly when swerving the cue ball over distance.
Added whistling sound effects to the theatre audience to accompany applause.
Added a 'sigh' sound effect when the cue ball is accidentally potted.
Theatre venues now have atmospheric spotlights on the walls with a smokey haze effect.
Visual improvements to audience seating and background illumination.
Improved mouse sensitivity for cueing action, with custom settings from 20 - 100%. See 'Options > Controls > Cue Settings > Mouse Sensitivity'. Please note - there are two different cueing methods to try: Manual and Automatic. This is also accessible from the in-game menu.
Controls settings moved from Main menu to Options menu.
Cue Global Settings moved from the Cue menu to 'Options > Controls' menu.
File Management moved from Options menu to Main menu.
Fixed an issue in Multiplayer that very occasionally could halt the game.
Clicking 'Restore' button in 3D mode when the camera is zoomed out, will now reset the camera.
Small improvements to English and Italian language text.
Various engine performance optimisations.
Other minor fixes and enhancements.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
We have another Cue Club 2 update for you today. It's been in development for quite a while, taking in lots of ideas you gave us. There are many exciting new features including some fun new venues to explore. We hope you like it!
Introduction of 3D Halls with a spectating audience. There are 4 different themed theatres including Cue Club, Basement, Cocktail and Penthouse. Go to Options > Match Settings > Venue. All tournament matches are played in the halls, and halls are unlocked when you earn new membership cards in Bar Challenge mode. The audience are interactive and give applause for good shots, sigh when the cue ball is accidentally potted, and cheer enthusiastically at the end of a big match!
If preferred, there is an option to disable applause from the Audio menu. Also, theatre spectators can be allowed or disallowed in practice mode by going to Options > Match Settings > Practice > Spectators.
Killer Pool now supports up to 4 players on local-multiplayer using any combination of human or AI opponents. Go to Play Game > Quick Match > Killer. Then select the player type (human or virtual player).
2 Player local games (human vs human) are now set-up from the Quick Match menu.
Option to change the distance of the camera behind the cue ball in 3D mode. Go to Options > Display Settings > Cameras > Distance to Ball (3D). This can also be set in-game.
Table light intensity can now be set in-game. See Options > Visual Effects > Lamp Brightness.
Improved support for different monitor and graphics card refresh rates including 60, 75, 90, 120, 144, 165, 180 and 240Hz.
Option to modify AI navigation speed and reaction time, go to Options > Match Settings > Virtual Players.
In 2D mode the arrow keys and WASD keys can be used to make micro adjustments to the aiming target.
Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the secondary aiming line from appearing on long shots with low power.
Fixed an issue that occasionally allowed the camera to move behind walls in 3D mode.
Solved a bug that very rarely would allow a ball to pass through a pocket and off the table.
2 new chalk colours added - Burgundy and Navy Blue.
More realistic ball and table shadows in 3D mode.
Improved Multiplayer championship trophy design.
Various visual enhancements to menus and user interface.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
We have a new Cue Club 2 update today with some extra features, fixes and improvements.
Ball Finish menu option (Matte, Satin, Glossy and Ultra-Glossy) has been moved to Options > Ball Sets > Global Settings.
Chalk Marks and Chalk Application menu options moved to Options > Chalk > Global Settings.
In multiplayer games, borderless fullscreen tables in 2D mode are now supported if both players have the same screen aspect ratio (e.g. 16:9).
Fixed an issue that could sometimes make the game play too fast on certain graphics cards.
Improved support for a greater range of of graphics card refresh rates.
Small improvements to Italian language text.
Various other minor fixes and enhancements.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
Today we added a new update to Cue Club 2 with some more nice additions, improvements and fixes.
There are now 3 different pocket settings available for pool and snooker: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy setting has larger and rounder pocket holes, and the harder settings have smaller and more recessed holes.
Table proportions in 2D mode can now be toggled between a 2:1 ratio, or fullscreen and borderless setting. From the main menu select 'Options > Tables > Global Settings > Proportions'.
Improved support for game controllers, with better menu navigation.
Fixed an issue in snooker to ensure the 'Replace Balls' option is always correctly shown after a foul, up to a maximum of three consecutive times.
A.I. players now wait longer before prompting you to play a shot. If you prefer, A.I. comments can also be turned off by going to 'Options > Match Settings > Chat (Offline)'.
Fixed an issue in 3D mode, to ensure that the mouse wheel can be used to change power, when this option is selected from the controls menu.
Improved menu layout. Table dynamics are now set from the 'Options > Table > Global Settings' menu. Cue and chalking methods are set from 'Options > Cues > Global Settings'. Control and navigation options are set from 'Controls > Settings', and also available from the in-game menu.
Other minor fixes and enhancements.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
We have a nice new update today with further refinements to pocket shape and cueing power, plus some other cool additions and a few fixes too.
New option to select tighter pool table pocket jaws, for a more challenging game. Go to 'Options > Tables' from the main menu and click the arrow to view the range of pocket designs. There are 3 options available: wide angular jaws, narrow angular jaws, and rounded jaws.
You can now change the default shot power setting. See 'Options > Dynamics > Cues > Default Power'. Ranges from 20% to 50% in 5% intervals. Please note: existing users may need to adjust this setting to suit, after downloading the update.
Added option to view the rules of the current game type from the in-game menu. Go to 'Options > Rules'.
Fixed a control panel switching issue in Slam mode.
Fixed an audio issue when dragging balls along the cushion in Slam.
Saved game files now have better validation and integrity checks.
The dynamics menu has been expanded and restructured.
Backwards compatibility has been introduced to support older saved replays.
Solved an issue that disrupted the view in 2D mode when the left and right mouse buttons were pressed together.
Joypad trigger buttons which control cue power are active during shot setup but now deactivate immediately after a shot is played.
100% zoom in 2D mode now is a little stronger with a reduced border size, to maximise the view of the table.
Further refinements to ball and table geometry.

There is a new update today with some nice features added to the game to further improve realism, enhance gameplay, plus refinements to menus and some fixes too.
Improved table geometry for all pool and snooker tables in 2D and 3D modes.
Table size option is now presented first on the table selection menu.
Further refinements to collision physics for tight clusters of balls.
Better support for Alt-Tab in Windowed and Fullscreen mode.
'Cancel' button renamed to 'Back' on menus.
Return key can now be used as a shortcut to dismiss menus, select 'OK' or step back a level.
More powerful zoom in 2D mode (click middle mouse button, or use joypad shoulder buttons).
Better positioning of buttons when using Large UI setting, and also when playing in Windowed mode on the desktop.
Small improvements to gamepad navigation.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
To complement a recent update where we added a selection of 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 ft tables for pool and snooker, we have focused on making further A.I. and gameplay improvements for this new version of the game.
5 new A.I. difficulty settings for Tournament mode and Bar Challenge, offering a broader range of opponent skill levels. Go to Options > Match Settings, and select from Novice, Amateur, Intermediate, Expert or Professional. Default setting is Intermediate.
We have fixed an issue following a recent Windows 10 update, which now gives a faster and smoother frame rate to the game.
Improved the way the A.I. handles Foul & Miss situations in snooker. Also added a limit to replace balls up to 3 times in a row, to prevent cheating a win.
Fixed an issue relating to the above, where a foul on a colour in snooker would automatically nominate a red ball, if the balls were replaced.
Improved the way the referee moves around the table when 2 or more balls have been potted at the same time and require re-spotting.

Added a variety of new options to Multiplayer matches including 'Table Speed', 'Cushion Speed' and 'Ball Size' options. Go to the in-game lobby and click on the top right arrow to see these extra settings.
Fixed an issue during a Foul & Miss situation in snooker, where the opponent could sometimes respot the cue ball after being asked to play again.
Scores on the top control panel are now always shown at the end of a match.
Solved an issue that occasionally rendered balls incorrectly using low light setting.
Small improvements to Italian language text.
Several optimisations have been made, leading to a faster and smoother frame rate.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
We've just released an exciting update to the game with lots of new features and improvements, including a selection of bigger pool and snooker tables to play on!
Added 6, 7, 8 and 9 ft pool tables, along with 8, 9, 10 and full size 12 ft snooker tables. Go to Options > Tables from the main menu to select. The bigger tables are a bit more challenging to play on, although offer a high degree of realism, and aiming lines are available if needed.
5 new table finishes available, including 'Chestnut', 'Cherry', 'Plum', 'Driftwood' and a dark 'Walnut' colour.
Larger tables can be selected in multiplayer, and aiming lines can be turned either on or off when setting up a match. See the options panel in the MP lobby.
Best of 7 or 9 frames added to multiplayer.
Improved rendering of tables and balls in 2D / 3D with more realistic shadows and specular highlights.
Overhead table light has been enhanced, with a larger 5-lamp variation for use with 10 and 12 ft snooker tables.
Extra LED lighting added to bar ceilings.
Added 3D camera 'Field of View' option with 5 settings available ranging between 70 and 90 degrees in 5° increments. See Options > Display Settings > Cameras. Also can be modified in-game.
Controls screen is now available to view from the in-game menu. Go to Menu > Options > Controls.
Improved physics for potted balls, which now roll further back into the pocket when playing more powerful shots.
In-game leaderboards for Snooker Breaks and Speed Pool Times have been expanded to list top-20 entries. Click the small arrow button on the silver panel to change pages.
Potting the 8-ball on the break shot in US 8-Ball without scratching now gives player the option to re-rack, or respot and continue.
A foul on the break shot in US 8-Ball now gives opponent option to continue, or re-rack with the choice of who breaks.
A bug which could occasionally cause the A.I. to get stuck when nominating a ball in 8-ball or 10-ball has been fixed.
Solved an issue that sometimes prevented Steam avatars from loading.
Fixed an issue that occasionally displayed the wrong information in the notifications capsule.
In 7-Ball pool, the balls are now racked in the correct formation.
Visual improvements made to trophy screens and tournament menus.
The in-game menu can now be activated at any point, by pressing the ESC key, joypad menu button, or clicking the left mouse button when the A.I. is playing a shot.
New option to customise text and border styles for in-game buttons. See Options > Display Settings > User Interface.
Added an option to raise or lower the camera height when zoomed out from the table in 3D. Use F5/F6 keys or joypad left and right triggers.
Included ability to resize the window in real time when playing the game on the desktop.
Other minor fixes, optimisations and enhancements.

Cue Club 2 Update
Hi everyone,
We have another good size update today with some cool new features along with a few fixes too.
Added a feature in the table designer menu to customise the style of the 'diamonds' along the rails on pool tables (3 designs + 'off' setting). The position of the diamonds has also been improved.
New feature to change the colour of the table markings. Use white or black pencil for fine markings, or white / black pen for a stronger effect. Go to Options > Tables and select the cloth patterns tab.
Steam friend feature added. In the multiplayer lobby, click on a player's avatar, then click the friend add button. You can also add them from the in-game chat menu (F1 key).
Personalised Steam avatars are now downloaded and displayed in the multiplayer lobby and on the player information screen.
Further enhancements to table cloth colours.
Improved colours in the vintage snooker ballset, and also Euro pool, including a new 'Pro-Style' dark red and yellow ballset.
Added an alternative mouse click audio sample. See Options > Audio > Menu Selection.
Further visual enhancements to menus and in-game bars.
Fixed a bug in multiplayer that could very occasionally halt play during 8-ball.
Fixed an issue that sometimes displayed the wrong time in Speed Pool replays.
