About the community towers


- if you are in online mode you have now 2 different new towers on the right side. Theses towers cannot be upgraded or changed manually, they are using several values of the worldstate tab.
- The tower values of speed, damage, explosion range and range are based on this stats and the damage value are also calculating the actual evolution level with it to make it not to overpowered on low evo lvls or useless on high evo levels.
- the towers are shooting big bullets which are making no direkt damage but they have depending on community activity an explosion range in which they are on explosion/spreading making AOE damage.
- The COM Towers are not aiming the nearest enemies. they are aiming a random enemie in its range.

Update Nr.94 | SMALL CHANGES

This is only a small update because we are still collecting data to balance the worldstate system before we activate the buffs

- New little button which is looking like the earth
- New status bars for the worldstate inoformations
- New window only for the worldstate instead of mixing it with the informations


The worldstate system is now in an extra window which can be accesd by clicking on the earth button. The data has now status bar with the max value for buffs.

Attention:
The values are not balanced now and we will change them and activate buffs for them when we have enough data about the values which are approximately during 24 hours

About the world state system


- The world state system counts data about kills of users and sends them to the server. This data does at the moment not give any game changes. We are planing to add depending on community activity some buffs and unlocks but before we can add them we need to research the actual base values how much kills approximately are done of players in 24hours. depending on this data we will balance in next weeks buffs and unlocks which depending on this values will unlock and get locked (buffs, pets, heroes,....)
The system always shows the last 24 hours and has no start/end date. data older then 24 hours will get deleted from database completely automatically and all data from the last 24 hours will be shown on in the information tab.
The shown values in the information tab are not player based data, they are the kill numbers of all players globally and this system is planned to get a main part to unlock some things for a globally community based extra

If you don't want to parcipate in this system you can change the game to offline mode in the settings but then server sided systems are deactivated ingame (offline gain system, world state system) and you will later also don't get unlocks from community systems. We hope much players will help us getting a good value of approximately kills to make a good balancing for this system.

What will be saved in the databank?


We only save the specific time when the data was released, the number of kills of the enemies and the steam account number to find cheating peoples to block them later from this system.

Dear players,
Steam again changes it rules and tries to get rid of the fake games of steam. this allover is a good thing but the question is if they get the correct way. Here evereyone thinks other about it and everyone can think about it what he want, but fact is also that small dev teams like we (Albatros Softworks) have it harder to find players and unlock steam features for newer games.

The main changes in the first update of steam was that they made a specific rule with secret thrashholds to unlock steam collector cards. What exact is calculated and what values are needed is totally secret of steam and nobody knows it. Because of that for example Defense clicker still if it sells and works on steam and we have a community,... it still has not reached some values that we cannot unlock them.

Now yesterday steam wrote a new anouncement which shocked many people and also developers because they reworked the system but they didn't made it easier, they made it even harder because now as long as the values are not reached the games are also capped to a maximum of 100 Achievements and the game achievements and statistics do not count to profile values like bought games, 100% games, number of achievements and also achievement graphics are not usable for the profile boxes.

Now i wanted to share this with you players to show you that in this time it is even more important to be active in discussion boards, write what you think in reviews and be active. This is not only an information for us, this new system matches for all new games of all publishers/developers. Please take the time and share your informations on steam with other players and write reviews for your games to help the real developers and publishers (not meant scam or trash games) with their games

Hotfix 03.June.2018

Fixed a problem with savegames temporary. where at first start of the game it was not creating automatically save files. AT start it shows a window that savefiles are missing. when pressing F1 it now creates save files and changes to main window. Further investigating is needed and i will look into it ass fast as possible to fully fix it that savegames will be created automatically when they are not found.

About the Loading screen


- Why do we need now a loading screen and before not?. Before the update we had much less animations and different buttons. We added more detailed animations, added premade buttons for categories and other things, added better rgaphics and much more. This needs more preloading time of graphics which would cause lags and or waiting times with no window reaction for some or most players. Before the patch the times were vere short and we set them to different windows before start of the game and nearly noone saw that there are loading processes in the background. No with the change we had some delays of 2 or 3 seconds of loading time which looked like a game freeze and some lags at the beginning of the game which were able to cause problems with the asynch. functions. The avoid problems and show players that it is no freeze or lag we added an loading screen were the player can see what the game makes at this point and what happens. The time from start to get ingame is the same as there would not be an loading screen, but the screen itself makes it clearer why there is a little more waiting time. The loading should only need a few seconds (around 5 seconds for most players). If it needs much longer or does not load after the screen please write us in discord or the steam discussion board.

About the crystal autocollecting without pets


- The crystals have now a 10% chance that they are not dropping to the ground and are directly collected into the storage. This improves the idle gameplay possibility on beginning when palyers have no collectors because they get approximately 10% of the crystals also without collecting them or when players are idle and have no collector pet.

About the deletion of the skins:


- We are reworking the complete design and skins. First we make a new design for the default skin and to make sure the player does not get crashes from incompatibility of the upcoming new default skin and the special skills we are deactivating the skins until the remake of them is completed (no eta yet)

About the manual backup system:


- When pressing F1 the game saves the actual state and creates an backup of the files in an extra folder at the save game folder. This savegame will only get overwritten when again pressing F1 and is secure from every automatically used save system.

About the offline gain system:


- The offline system is server time based and is only available when online.
- If you are online the game is syncronising an internal time in specific times and gives a new ressource named SC (Shadow crystals).
- Every SC is worth 1 hour
- When getting offline the game is saving the actual server time and when getting back into the game it syncronises times, calculates the time difference and gives for every full hour and Sc you earn an specific value of ressources.
- The ressources are at the beginning very low but you can increase them with evo upgrades.
- If youa re offline the game does not get the server time and deactivates the online mode (offline in the right upper corner). then you get 0 SC over time and the internal time stamp gets reset. When restarting the game after getting online again the game restarts gaining SC and the offline time gets automatically to 0.

Why server based?


- We have several cheaters on the game and its hard to find much of them. When using the local clock of the computer it would be very easy to cheat with simply changing the computer clock and players would be able to get easy thousands of hours offline gain daily. To stop his possibility it was impossible to stop the offline gain when offline and only making it possible to use online.

Hi all,
I wanted to inform you why the actual update needs a bit longer and what are we doing. We are not ready yet but we have already several things done which i can showyou. Please know that not everything is yet in the pictures completed, we are still changing and improving things you can see there and we are also changing most graphics of the old you can see. We are doing more then we can now say but i wanted to inform you about some of the bigger changes which will come with the next update.

1. New tower graphics.
We are changing the towers to more tower like looking graphics. Also we change a bit the system and towers are not static animations, they are also rotating to the angle they are shooting to.

4.The strategy mode was changed with new graphics for a better visibility. the build menu also was changed to rectangualar overlays and better colors to improve visibility


5. We implement a tooltip system which shows descriptions and hints for upgrades and several menu items:


6. We change the all over look of the Userinterface and menus for a better look:




All this are only a few little things and we are working on more and still on graphic improvements but all this needs time for creating graphics, implementing them in the game, writing all texts, rearranging items, changing textpositions to fit new graphics, change codes to make them compatible with new systems, .....
We stay tuned, we are hard working on all this and hope to update your version soon =).

Hi all,
The Update needs a bit longer, we tested the offline gain system and it seems to work but we want to test it a bit longer to get sure to not break savegames with it. because of this we also started to make the planned content in this update a bit bigger and started to rework and change some things. The next update will be much bigger then the most updates we had yet.
Sry for the delay but we want to make all things as good as possible and this sometimes needs time =).
