Hi Doll-citizens!
We have done all the cinematic for the next update.
Doll City: Prologue has three different types of cinematics:
- On a screen. Classic video cinematic, but on a big screen implemented in a game environment.
- Ingame. A short tutorial cinematic implemented into the level structure.
- Cinematic level. An entirely scripted level part, which allows us to make a big real-time cinematic.

We have been progressing well on Doll City this week!
We haven't updated for some time because we are focused on the development of a big update that will be very close of the final game.
A lot of change has been made (especially in the gameplay, thanks to the new programer Pierre Albertucci) to make a very polished game.
We read all your comments and recommendations, and change the game in consequences.
Don't hesitate to give your opinions, good or bad, and tell us what is lacking in Doll City.

We made some new levels for Doll City: Prologue!
You will soon access new districts of the city, such as the abandoned train station and the shady streets of Sector 3.
We also completely redesigned some older levels, so you won't get lost anymore.

Tired of dying so much? Or maybe the game is too simple for you? Don’t worry… you can now change the difficulty at any time in the in-game and in the general menu.
Damage received, enemy life, and many other parameters will be modified when you change the settings.

Doll city is more dangerous than ever… automatic turrets are now here, in some parts of the city, ready to shoot you. Will you want to destroy them, or can you sneak through without being spotted?
They turrets are not very dangerous alone, but if one of them spots you, it will give your position to all the other turrets of the area… so try to be sneaky, or prepare to fight!

The side-scroller gameplay has been significantly improved. You can now aim and shoot, crouch, double jump, and more.
Of course, some enemies will be here to make your life a little harder (but way more fun).

We are working hard on Doll City: Prologue, and have made good progress.
Here you can see the new in-game menu which allows changing sound volume, quality, and other game options.

Dear Doll-Citizens, here we are, this is the end of the year 2441 and we hope you're all going to party hard! Don't forget that Sector 3 is the only place where illicit products are available and tolerated. If you witness any drug or alcohol use outside this sector, don't forget to notify your local police station.

We are going to end this dark and dreadful year with good news, for a change!
-Our developer who had a severe accident is getting better every day, and he will be able to run and jump again in a few months. On the good side, the new metal implants in his body are making him even more eligible for a Doll-City citizenship.
-Next year, we will start a small dev blog with at least one weekly post to keep you informed about the latest Doll City: Prologue updates and progress. Sector 3 is coming to your VR headset, and it's gonna be huge!

However, we keep working on the game and will open a beta branch of Doll City very soon. This beta version will be very close to the Final version of the game and include the new gameplay mechanics and environments. Only the beginning of the game will be available, so you won't be spoiled on the main story. This beta will be the last step before the final release. Of course we will keep you informed as soon as the beta is ready!
Of course, you will still have acces to the current early access version of Doll City, but we likely won't be updating it anymore. Some of the early access levels should be included as bonus content in the final version.
