Some may say we shouldn't tell you what's going on, we should only tell you when the game update will be released. We don't agree, you all need to know the good and bad. Well here is some bad, we hit a frame rate issue with all the content we've added. It hit us hard due to the fact we were making great strides.

We Are Working! (This one is a little long...)
Hello All,
So here is an update in the development of Don't Bleed. We have Light Leecher (LL) complete and in game with AI. We have modeled and rigged one of the two Medium Leechers (ML). The rigged ML will get AI tonight, the second ML will be rigged and animated this week. The Heavy Leecher (HL) will hopefully (fingers crossed) will be modeled and rigged by this Friday.
What does this mean to you all, well plan on seeing all of the Leecher classes in game on the update! Weapons and more weapons will be present, with upgrade kits being made. We decided to go with upgrade kits due to the fact we couldn't see the small items in game (minor game change).
We are very excited about the progress, the feedback from the community has been great and we are thankful. We are looking forward to hearing and seeing the reviews from the update. More to come, stay tuned...

Small Victories...
So, we have been pushing really hard to get some wins! We did a build of Don't Bleed and it ran at 50 fps, so optimization worked. We are currently getting all in game player animations correct. Also another version of the Medium Leecher is being developed and our first Heavy Leecher is in development as well. Finally, two additional play areas are being populated with props. Stay tuned, more to come.

We are 80% complete with pick up items which includes weapons

Bad news first, we are still waiting for the FULL RELEASE of UNITY 2018 to be released. Due to the terrain shader issue is still occurring. Oh, and the team is tired but, fighting through!

We have modified the terrain into 4 areas, by doing this the engagement factor increased significantly

Pros
Terrain Environment Updates are Complete, first pass that is. What does that mean? Well the terrain has been totally re-done! We have also completed all external and internal props. Second Pass of the terrain will occur in one week (meaning we are adding more prop content)...
Leecher Animations Complete, now we will be integrating into game for timing and sequencing to make the Leecher movements look natural in game.
Update to Unity 2018 Beta Complete but, I'll tell you later about the issues.
Cons
Update to Unity 2018 Beta BROKE the damn terrain (excuse my french)... So, we are spending our time bug fixing at the moment, the problem is with how Unity 2018 is handling textures and shaders. Jump on our DISCORD to get an ear full.
So, visually the game has progressed significantly. We have also managed to keep a high fps count (>50). Oh, did I mention we got rid of the FOG! Yes, yes, it is gone, no more fog (we only use it in the horizon by the water). There are new options for in game player characters (yup added a female and more).
