Dungeon Decree #1: Dungeon-Revolver-Duels between Snots are now banned!

Dungeon Decree #1: Dungeon-Revolver-Duels between Snots are now banned!

After various instances of not-so-honorable revolver duels between the little snot population, the Ultimate Evil hereby decrees the following:

The solution of conflicts via shootouts is now prohibited inside the Dungeons!

If you do feel the desire to brutally off each other, please do so at least 5 meters away from the OUTSIDE of the Dungeon entrance (and preferrably, take some forces of good with you while you are at it.).
AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING EVIL LEAVE THE DUNGEON INTERIOR INTACT.

Violation of this decree will lead to no dinner for a week and adequate punishment in the torture chamber (Snoddel will be punished differently, the succubi still have trauma from his last torture session because he was too into it).

Snot Snif busted while sneaking back from a duel that lead to the wreckage of the gobbler enclosure.

The Good, the Bad and the Evil DLC just released! All Aboard the Evil Train!

All Aboard the Evil Train - Dungeons 4: The Good, the Bad and the Evil arrives today!

Thalya and the Absolute Evil take on the Wild West in Dungeons 4 first DLC

We have today released Dungeons 4 – The Good, the Bad and the Evil, the first DLC for Dungeons 4. This enticingly evil new addition to the Dungeons franchise is now available for €14.99/£12.99 with a 10% discount on Steam, The Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store (PS Plus members only), and Microsoft Store for 7 days after launch. Available on Steam, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with the base Dungeons 4 game available to play now with Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud.

In this Wild-West-themed adventure, Thalya and the Engineering-Evil face new challenges as the Dwarves make a dramatic return to the Overworld with brand-new technology inspired by the highly recognisable (but not quite copyrightable – we checked) Western biome. Fight across five new missions, all featuring the wonderful(ly evil) Kevan Brighting, who reprises his role as the ever-iconic, and often sardonic Narrator.

The DLC brings a host of new content, including additional traps, vermin and passive skills for the Absolute Evil’s right-hand Elf, Thalya. But whilst Thalya’s skills may be passive, the forces of good are anything but! Their champion, Brynnhild the Dwarf Queen, along with her annoyingly non-evil twin, will push Thalya’s skills (and patience) to their limit. Will you have what it takes to dominate the West with your evil prowess, or will Brynnhild and her dwarven comrades claim this new land in the name of all that is good, hopeful, and boring?
Prepare for an epic showdown and dive into the latest expansion of the Dungeons universe today!

Dungeons 4: The Good, the Bad and the Evil is Out Now for €14.99/£12.99 with a 10% discount on Steam, The Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store (PS Plus members only), and Microsoft Store for 7 days after launch. The Dungeons 4 base game is also available on Steam with a 25% discount until August 12th.
Dungeons 4: The Good, the Bad and the Evil is available on Steam, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with the base Dungeons 4 game available to play now with Game Pass.

Showcase and Contest Winner

Dungeons 4 – Contest Showcase and Winner Announcement

Faithful Underlings,

Following the announcement of the Badges of Honor, the Ultimate Evil now unveils a closer look at the masterfully crafted maps submitted for the contest.

Dungeons of the Apex

Created by: Ice-Design
Map Type: MOBA
Overview: In this MOBA-like map, your objective is to destroy the enemy dwarf's main base.

Gameplay and Summary
You start in your dungeon and must build an army. The map features three lanes, each containing multiple buildings for both teams. Victory requires destroying all enemy bases in each lane before advancing to demolish the main base. Simultaneously, you must defend your dungeon heart and your team's bases. Minion waves spawn on each lane, progressing towards the enemy base and targeting enemy turrets. These waves grow stronger over time. Destroying certain overworld buildings also alters the dungeon's structure.

What We Enjoyed
This lengthy map introduces a unique playstyle, requiring strategic thinking as you can't control your units once they're in a lane. This creates a distinct experience compared to typical Dungeons maps, making it a refreshing challenge.

Thalya and the 7 Dwarves

Created by: wildmick
Map Type: Kill Quest
Overview: Begin in a uniquely structured dungeon and battle dwarves to achieve the required kills.

Gameplay and Summary
This extensive map tasks you with building an army to kill as many dwarves as possible.

What We Enjoyed
The symmetrical and unique map structure makes dungeon-building highly satisfying, providing a fresh take on the traditional gameplay.

Little Story of Snow White

Created by: Legomaniak
Map Type: Short-Story
Overview: Thalya and seven dwarves must triumph over the queen.

Gameplay and Summary
After a brief intro, you start with Thalya and must dig out seven dwarves with the help of snots. Use the units at your disposal to defeat the evil queen.

What We Enjoyed
This short map features a clear objective and a fixed number of units, encouraging strategic thinking and unit preservation.

A Dwarf is seldom alone

Created by: Test 9000
Map Type: Small Skirmish Map
Overview: Your objective is to destroy the 4 dwaven bases on the overworld. In addition 3 further bases have settled in the underground.

Gameplay and Summary
Dwarves are peculiar, you rarely meet a single one, often they come in droves and search for gold, stirring up the whole underground while doing so. Of course, the Absolute Evil doesn't like this at all.
The map is smaller but packed with details on the overworld, all in the magic blue glowing mushroom theme. Heroes and the dwarves in the underground will periodically attack your Dungeonheart. Use the predefinded way to place traps. Expansion is also more tricky since the space that can be excavated is defined though clear granite borders.

What we enjoyed
A dwarf and mushroom focussed map with a love to detail.

Contest Winner

After a long and painstaking deliberation process, the Ultimate Evil is pleased to announce the contest winner and Badge of Honor recipients. Each of the four maps are an "malevolent masterpiece," and thus, all four creators will receive the Badge of Honor. However, only one can be crowned the ultimate winner. After much consideration, the winner is , who will be awarded the special version of the Badge. The technical realisation was a masterpiece and also caused amazement internally.

This workshop and contest was new and exciting for us, and we had a lot of fun. We eagerly look forward to what the future holds, thanks to the awesomely evil Dungeons 4 community.

Thank you!
And remember:
Stay Evil!
