Patch 4.9

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- The main quest has been redone. It isn't complete yet but should take sometime to complete. Quests have been reset as well.

- New fog updates for distance fog to blend landscape better.

- Fixed some issues with chat box not mentioning certain game events.

- Fixed a few skills not loading properly.

- Fixed wolf run animation.

- Updating a lot of items for better optimization.

- Updated audio script to work more efficiently and have day night sounds blend better.

- Added a few new monster areas.

- Added Orc Temple area.

- Updated some landscapes.

- Lots of minor bug fixes.

- Much much more has happened but per usual I didn't take good notes. I'll do better for upcoming patches.

Patch 4.8

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Database wipe. Your characters will remain but your save will be wiped. Due to massive changes and not having a wipe for months, I felt it was time to reset. If possible I would reinstall the game as well.

- Updated skills. Skills now are stronger and some have more utility. This should make for ways to make more unique characters.

- Skill reset now costs 250 gold.

- New buff effects and most should show up on the buff bar as well.

- Updated game models to utilize more "bones". This will make clothing and armor not clip as much through the body.

- New input system. You can now change WASD movement.

- Changed lots of enemies stats and abilities.

- Added a couple new skills.

- Added a few new items.

- Added NPCs again in town. They will now talk sometimes as well. Very buggy on multiplayer servers but works great on private server. Will be working on this and looking for a fix asap.

- You can now place house property anywhere that is flat enough and far enough from certain objects. You can buy a property deed at the blacksmith and houses from the woodworker. You also get a house recall that will work every 5 minutes.

- Lowered thunder sound and slowed weather transitions to be more seamless.

- Major weapon balance changes. This should provide more incentive to use daggers or one hand axes.

- Several bosses added to random camps that will spawn after killing a certain amount of enemies.

- Added 20 new minor artifacts that can drop from bosses.

- Added a few new procs for weapons and armor and increased drop chance.

- Lots more updates over the last couple weeks.

- Lots of minor bug fixes per usual.



Patch 4.7

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Added Enchanting into the game. You can now find rare Enchantments off of enemies that you then can apply to weapons or armor that are "Enchantable". You can also find these weapons and armors off enemies.

- Updated Game Guide for crafting to give a little more information on how it works.

- Updated some quest rewards to make them better.

- Several new items added to the game.

- Added durability loss on items when killed again. Don't die.

- Enemy AI updated again to have them move more often in between attacks.

- Several bug fixes.



Patch 4.6

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Added a new temple to explore. Only partially complete with one boss.

- Updated the font on items that still have old font.

- Removed enemies animations when being hit.

- Fixed Pufferfish white box.

- Completely updated the AI code for enemies. Hopefully things should work a little better and smoother along with a more fun combat experience. Will be monitoring this closely and updating as needed.

- Updated main menu to auto connect you to best region when logging in and changed the menu around slightly to be less messy.

- Updated density in most mob camps and removed a few camps for a patch.

- Updated lots of enemies stats including health to make progress easier.

- Lots of bug fixes.



Patch 4.5

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Fixed issue with not being able to see other players weapons or armor when logging in.

- Fixed players getting locked in an animation after dodging.

- Fixed food losing its ability to buff you when you split it.

- Updated backend for quests to make it easier for me to add quests. Also updated several of the quest lines.

- Increased mob density in some areas.

- Fixed some mobs in the sewer being destroyed.

- Fixed weapon crafting board buttons to work properly.

- Fixed stamina replenishing while sitting.

- Fixed some catalysts not being able to place in correct box for crafting.

- Updating items in the game to say catalyst in their info if they are.

- Updated disconnect timer so when loading game you don't get kicked. This should help a vast number of players that have had issues with game not loading or booting you back to main screen a couple times before you can get in.





Patch 4.4

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Almost all the enemies in the game have had their health reduced, except the first few tiers.

- Town revamp. New town structures that are more efficient for memory and work better for modular building.

- Added a new sewer area with mobs and a puzzle to get through it.

- Fixed stun abilities so they aren't as strong.

- Made enemies use their multi-attack and magic abilities less.

- Fix spawn issues in multiplayer when master client leaves the area and mobs disappear.

- Loot for weapons and armor have been tweaked a little to provide a better chance for the best possible level the mob can provide based on the monster difficulty.

Patch 4.3

Here is a summary of what is in this patch.

- Add three more hotkeys to bring it up to a total of eight plus a potion slot. They cannot be rebound yet.

- Added several new cooking recipes, alchemy recipes, furniture recipes, and several new ingredients to go with them.

- Added several new quests to the mage, hunter, cook, and priest.

- Fixed a few quests not working properly.

- Added a new text box during interaction that will give you the name of the item you are interacting with. Not all names are updated.

- Added more wolves to the forest next to town.

- Fixed rotation issues with houses on your property.

- Fixed magic light buff being able to cast again before buff run out.

- Fishing now works again.

- Minor bug fixes and balances.

Patch 4.2

There has been a lack of patch notes because I am lazy. If you are interested in keeping up to date with more information you can join the discord I have setup. https://discord.gg/Tw2cF9w

Here is a summary of what has been going on for the last few patches.

- Major monster revamp. Lots of new variations of monsters have been added. With the new variations the difficulty has been spread out so it is easier to progress. Several new areas to kill mobs all around the world.

- Item, weapon, and armor drops have been reworked. Monsters will now slowly drop more valuable items as they become harder to kill. On top of weapons and armor getting better already as you progress, I have adding in another element to give these items a chance to be even more potent as you level.

- You cannot build your own house anymore. It just wasn't working out the way I wanted. You can now select your plot marker and buy a house from the menu there. There are three options at the moment but soon to be many more.

- Lots of housing items have been added to all the monsters in the world. As you kill harder monsters you have a better chance of getting a house item.

- NPCs walking around town have been removed temporarily.

- Another major crafting change. Back to a trial and error style crafting. Lots of materials in the game will gives bonuses to crafting. Lots to discover.

- Harvesting has been changed slightly. There are certain areas now where you can farm ore and are pretty obvious. There are multiple different ores as well. Tree leaf color has been changed to yellow to help increase visibility. Skill level and luck (separate from luck on weapons and armor) will now give you a chance for more loot from harvesting.

- Lots of new items added to the game for crafting or other reasons.

- When monsters attack previously, they would shoot out an invisible "bullet" at about the point when the weapon would contact the player. You used to be able to dodge this. Due to some issues with monsters not being able to hit you at certain distances, this was removed. You are now invulnerable when dodging and timing a monster attack to dodge at the right time is how to dodge now. There are still some errors when you can be hit outside monster range. Basically if an enemy gets in attack range and starts attack you cannot run out of the way only dodge, block, or hope they roll a miss.

- New quests for the hunter. You will now kill mobs through this hunter for quests and it will slowly unlock new areas like bosses or temples. For now it is basic kill and receive gold. There will be new quests for others such as the cook who will provide recipes on how to prepare certain meals when you complete his quests.

Lots of other things but I just didn't write them down. Balance changes, minor bugs, multiplayer fixes, etc.

Patch 4.1

- Hovering over skills in the skills list ("L") will now provide more accurate information about that skill.
- You can now craft a bank chest that you can place on your property. This chest shares the bank you have in town.
- The Athletics skill now improves stamina efficiency.
- Added a few new property locations all updated with new prices. The further away from town you go the cheaper the property.
- You can now only own one property and you can release your property to buy a different property but you will not be refunded.
- Enemies will only have an animated "Hit" response to being damaged if they are not attacking. This is intended to get rid of the queued" Hit" response you sometimes see when attacking enemies.
- New beginning tutorial that will lead you through some of the basics of the game.
- Fixed pristine raw spider meat showing up as a white box in the loot.
- Major skills update. All the abilities and skills have been updated and there are several new attacks and abilities.
- Added a roof to the inn.
- Removed charisma and short blades. Daggers are now under the long blades category. Soon to be just blades.
- Runestones can now be marked and then used to teleport around the map. One time mark and one time use per runestone.
- Fixed being able to use certain items from the bank.
- Blacksmithing weapons now gives a damage and durability bonus based on skill level.
- NPCs have been added to town again and now are synced up between players. Sometimes they can get a little buggy but usually get back to normal.
- Made the bank UI bigger.
- Entering the houses in the town will now lower wind, rain, and ambient sounds to make it seem indoors.
- Fixed issue with lowering criminal status and messing up weight.
- Fixed guards still attacking after criminal status is lowered. Still buggy in open world.
- Guards will now respond quicker after being hit.
- Lots more fixes and changes that didn't make the notes.

Patch 4.0

- Added lots of new recipes that you can find off monsters that will unlock alchemy potions to craft. Very rare.
- Fixed player attacking when closing other windows.
- Added 50+ new items that mostly are used for alchemy.
- Changed crafting skill gains. The higher level the item the more you will get.
- Updated Archmage boss to be more dynamic. You can now spawn him at the orange orb in the temple. 10 min cooldown.
- Lots of animation and small bug fixes.
- Almost all loot has been updated.
- Teleport runes are now available to buy at the mage.
- Resource gathering has been updated and fixed.
- Added several new artifacts and when finding artifacts there is a chance for a minor or major one.
- Huge backend code update regarding armors and how they look on the player. Added new armors.
- Added bank limit to the bank.
- Lots more I forgot to write down for the last month :)!
