A lot of new things today so let's just get right into it.
Player Titles
This is something that we thought you might like. If the player played some important role during the game he/she will be honored with one or few of following titles:
The Swift - The player that dodged the most flying axes during the game.
The Sniper - The player that shot the most long-distant headshots.
The Skilled - The player that had the best shot accuracy during the game.
The Vigilant - The player that killed most enemies close to the castle gate and by it saved the wave.
The Sky Guardian - The Player that killed most airborne enemies (Wyverns, Dragons).
The Wizard - The Player that dealt most damage to the enemies by using magical spells.
The Butcher - The player that dealt most overall damage to the enemies.
The Slayer - The player that dealt most damage to boss type enemies like (Trolls, Dragons)
Player Titles are visible after the multiplayer game.
New middle platform on Elven Town
As the middle platform was much overpowered and the player standing on it always had the best score, we have decided to improve it in a way that now it consists 2 teleport spots that you can move around or guard the Town with two players on it, one covering the front and one covering the back. We have also added some interactive elements to Elven Town.

Graphical Improvements on Human Castle
We have decided to improve the overall graphics of Human Castle.

Major Network optimization
We have been investigating some connection issues and manage to optimize the network usage by quite a lot, the network usage has been decreased by ~85% so it should solve some occasional problems with getting lost connection.
New Dragon Boss
We have added new dragon boss to increase the difficulty for those that reach very high waves. This dragon is much stronger than previous ones, the one Fire Explosion might no longer be sufficient to defeat it.
Others
- Now Ancient Temple location is also available in the single-player game.
Price increase
As following Early Access information the game now will be priced 15$ to reflect added value to the game and also appreciate all players that trusted us and supported the game in early stages of development.

Battle of Kings VR
We have just published new game Battle of Kings VR. Although it’s totally different thing than Elven Assassin, we thought there might be some fellow players that besides fulfilling the honorable duty of defending the innocent of Elven Assassin World, might also want to take the command of the medieval kingdom.
We have configured additional waves after 60, also decreased the time break between waves as it was getting too long on higher waves(now with shorter breaks it is important to have spells on the higher spell-level for faster cooldown), it should make the game more challenging now for pro-players.
Update 1.16.0 - Ancient Temple
The Ancient Temple location is live now.
In this location, you are tasked with preventing the enemy from entering Ancient Temple. The defense happens in the ruins located just before the gate to the remainings of the Ancient Temple guarded by statues of two Ancient Kings.
The ruins give many opportunities to perform spectacular shoots and also to use the architecture to your advantage, like hiding from incoming axes.
The location also features new soundtrack, more fitted to the atmosphere of the place.

Today we are announcing the new Ancient Temple location that will be coming soon.
We are still improving the gameplay and graphics on this map, but soon this will be ready for you to test it out.

1-year Anniversary!
Hi, Elven Assassins.
It has been a year now that Elven Assassin is out. We want to thank you all for your support, feedback and sticking with us for this year. To celebrate that, there is small present for you guys in the Main Menu and also discount for those that want to join among us and become Elven Assassins.
Your commitment combined with our work resulted in lots of additions and improvements that is presented on the roadmap below.
There is a lot of things coming to Elven Assassin in the next few months so stay tuned.
Update 1.15.0 - Human Village
Human Village
We are so glad that we can present you what we’ve been working for quite a long time.
In the Human Village location, you are tasked with preventing orcs from getting into the Upper Town where the villagers took shelter.
Graphics
The location heavily benefits from the long process of researching & improving the graphic quality without sacrificing performance of our game.
The Living Environment
To increase your immersion in the world of elven assassin we've pushed a living breath into the surroundings. The new high-quality bushes, trees & grass reacts to the blows of wind. The strong stream current drives the watermill. In the meantime, the lazy smoke is getting out of the chimney in one of the huts.
New surprising interactions.
We really wanted to achieve that you can feel you are part of this fantasy world so we've added some realistic-like interactions that might convince you about that. Hopefully, they will be a little surprising & unexpected. We don't want to spoil the surprise so we are not listing them inside this paragraph. Take a bow and find them by yourself.
Sounds
We also improved the sounds on the map with the new music and ambient sounds that better fits the climate of the map.
Gameplay
As for the gameplay, we have designed this location so that it should be not too hard for the new players but still challenging to best archers at higher waves. For the first time, we made use of our new pathfinding system in which each orc follows a little different path than the one running behind him.

New location on Beta_HumanVillage branch!
Hi all.
We’ve been working long on improving the graphics capabilities of the game. We will be posting a big announcement presenting the outcome soon. The first effects of this are visible in the new location “Human Village” available on Beta_HumanVillage branch.
For those of you who will decide to give it a try, we are kindly asking for the feedback. The location was tested so most of the things should work but in case you spot some issue or bug don’t hesitate to leave a comment here. We will soon be releasing this location to default branch.
How to access it?
To access the Beta_HumanVillage branch, go into game properties, Beta tab, click the drop down menu, and click "Beta_HumanVillage". The Steam should automatically download and install the new version of the game.
Update 1.0.14 - Voting & Singleplayer Spells
Next changes rolling out today. The Update includes two main things.
Voting System
This feature allows you to vote on whether the team should stay on the current map or change location without having to leave the game and hoping all players will join.
Spells on Singleplayer
Now you can gain experience and use spells also in Singleplayer mode. This change was strongly requested by the community. To achieve that, we decided to divide Singleplayer into two modes (RPG-with spells & Arcade -without). This way the players that did not unlock powerful spells yet, can compete in “No spells mode” while experienced players can see whether their character will allow them to beat other well trained Elven Assassins.
Improved arrow attaching precision
Before this update arrows that hit environment elements like wooden barriers might incorrectly attach above the element. We managed to increase this precision greatly. Below you can find images for better understanding the problem.
Improved castle on Elven Town
We have improved the castle. Before it looked too flat so we decided to change its architecture a little bit and opened a few windows for the more realistic look.
Tons of bugfixes and additional polish
This update also fixes lots of bugs which a few most notable are:
1. Fixed a glitch that would cause multiple arrows to be spawned when players drew their bows very rapidly. [Requested by community]
2. Added hit sound and blood to wyverns.
3. Removed graphics glitches visible sometimes at the beginning of the first wave.
4. Fixed too much gold displayed on the game over menu after a few games in one session. [Requested by community]
5. Added arrow impact sounds when shooting at dead bodies.
6. Added info “shoot teal area to teleport” to controls window. [Requested by community]
7. UI improvements + get rid of blurry fonts
8. Fixed bug when 10 arrows were spawned on joining the game [Requested by community]
9. Fixed the same level displayed for all players before the game starts
10. Fixed voice chat checkbox not working correctly [Requested by community]

Previously the game was designed to be over around wave 40. We have underestimated some players that reach far more than that. In such case, the 40th wave enemies were spawned in the further waves. That’s why we have configured the waves 41-60 to be more difficult than the 40.
Adjust the time between the breaks.
The brakes time were likely to long in the further waves, so we’ve made them shorter.
Elite Orc Warriors
The update also includes new Elite Orc Warrior - you will recognize him as he is much larger than normal Orc Warriors and also harder to kill, good luck when you see him :)
Further development
This update does not represent the amount of work we have done since the last update. The new scenarios are being worked on so stay tuned. Before they come we will likely add spells to SinglePlayer and the system that will allow you to change scenario after the games without leaving to the main menu.
