1.23.04 patch notes

Nerfs


• Friday's Fast fall is removed (Crouch while mid air)
Friday's melee combo was fun to do, but it was extremely hard to counter given how fast she could land on the ground and do it. This will allow some counter play to her poison->Kick combo.

I think this is a better alternative to nerfing the poison weakness.

Buffs


• Friday's jump velocity changed from 700 to 770 (higher jumps!)
This is a buff to friday's jump height, this also coincidentally makes the melee combo a smidge harder to do, because you'll be higher

BUG FIXES


• Bingo knife forward launch in mid-air did NOT work on other characters in randomizer (Fixed)
• Controller players were unable to swim up or down (fixed)
• Really long server names in the server browser are now capped at 40 characters

Patch 1.23.01

Nerfs


• Blaise Spiked bat: 60 to 50 damage per swing
• Camille pick: 65 to 50 damage per swing

Buffs


• The Final Coil: Charge speed changed to a curve, starts quickly at first, slows down, same range same damage

Bug fixes


• The Final Coil "I'm shocked" achievement changed to only give it to the holder (was a bug)
• several Out of bounds locations in Grotto given kill volumes
• Water line reduced (from underneath) to prevent players from going out of bounds, and falling into the water (Now they will fall outside the map and die)

Our strongest Fadeout update yet! Experience a new map, a new Mega Weapon, and many other adjustments to give you a better experience!

New Features:


• New Grotto Map, +music & more!
• Mega-Weapon: The Final Coil
• Swimming
• Several new Achievements to earn
• New Easter Egg skin for a certain achievement~


Upgrades &/Or Feature updates:
• Networking upgrade, 45 tick to 60 tick
• Conquest gamemode now features a catchup mechanic for teams behind more than 100 points
• New Mega weapons added to Wave Defense (PVE)


Balance Adjustments:


• Dalton Rifle zoom decreased, easier to spot closer targets
• Tommygun rework: Zero spread & Removal of headshotting (Tracking weapon!)
• Burst Rifle rework: Zero spread, damage reduced from 11 to 9 per bullet (x3 burst)
• Starting ammo altered for several characters
• Mega Weapons now trigger their respawn time on new rounds. (instead of carrying over or rolling over)

Bug Fixes:


• Several typos fixed
• Abigail's BABY shotgun alt fire could not be held for repeat shots
• Several odd spectator and late-joining related bugs fixed
• Hemlock had some odd recolor texture errors on his default outfit
• Hemlock & Dalton tail physics updated

• Release, deal 45 damage to every target within the sphere of electricity
• Deals 9x Damage to those in water (405 damage)
• Deals self damage if used in water (uh oh...)

Blocking crosshair - Hotfix

Crosshair was showing up on melee weapons & other unintended side effects.
Fixed!

Option to disable the feature will come with next small patch

Wave Defense - Balance adjustments

Wave Defense



  • Decreased Charlie's health in Wave 2
  • Increased Bingo count from 2 to 3 in Wave 4
  • Decreased health of Dalton Soldiers in Wave 6
  • Decreased health of all 3 Bosses in Wave 6 by 30%


These changes should make normal mode easier to solo!

  • Prevented a lobby server from reloading the same map over and over if it had 0 players
  • Fixed a minor issue with joining games

A Small hotfix is now live that fixes an issue with trying to host a normal PVP server after hosting wave defense.
