Multiplayer current test and future changes

Greetings dear Farmers,

We finally managed to have a pretty stable multiplayer (there are issue that we are aware of, but we will fix and rework them for the next test).

Based on the majority feedback, we are going to apply a few changes, we won't go into big rework as it would take a long time, and we want this to be out so over the season we can improve it.

The Multiplayer goal was always to provide a small daily activity with free reward for everyone, with a small impact on main game. The small impact on the main game will be the same for mostly everyone, and it's so small that it will never make a huge difference (even if some players think otherwise).

Incoming notable changes are :

- Boss won't "die" anymore but instead when the HP target is reach, it mean that the next one will level up, if it isn't reach then it will level down (and you will still get 100% of the reward).
- Boss will live for 10h, and be down for 1h, this will allow a rotation for the spawning time.
- Buff (which are disabled at the moment), the Damage one will be buyable in the 1h window where the boss isn't up, while Potato and Exp can be bought anytime (maybe i will disable them 30min before a boss dies just to make sure nothing weird happens).
- Leaderboards need a fix, we are aware that the ranking doesn't always show the right place (rewards when not bugged, do give the correct one).
- Boss dying can often lead to issues on the server. When you try to attack him when he is about to die, things go wrong and there is change you miss the reward (soul & potion are still given...).

For now, we will leave the multiplayer for a few more days before taking it down and working on it.

Meanwhile, the new feature is already on test, there is a lot in this update as it might be by far the biggest one (so my first expectation is early / mid january, but can be delayed if needed).

Multiplayer Test V2 Announcement -Hope- V0.44-1

A new Multiplayer Test will be starting on 9th November at 4PM UTC. Hopefully we fixed the issue and that it will be totally fine.

Meanwhile the new feature, World 8, and more are in the work and we made some good progress, it should be ready to go into private test in a week or two

Small Content V0.44

New:

  • 7 Upgrade in Farming unique shop.
  • 1 Upgrade in Expedition shop.


Updated:

  • Multiplayer window updated with a message on the current status.


Fixed:

  • Offline Brewing level calculation wasn't right.
  • Farming Shop Improvement Corner was not auto buying Plant 9 on Prestige.


Hey everyone, we are sorry that the live test was so short (around 2 minutes?) before everything crashed, we will work to fix the issue which isn't a small one sadly we weren't expecting so many players to join, if this is already an issue on the test... we have to make pretty big change so the multiplayer scale for even more players

Meanwhile don't worry we will work hard on the new feature (the 'game' outside the multi will always remain the top priority, multi will always be a side little thing to participe in only)

Thank you for the support and for showing up for the test. Even if it didn't go the way we expected, finding this bug now is better than after this goes live (crossing fingers that there won't be anymore once this one is fixed ^^).

Season Live Test & More V0.43

New:

  • Multiplayer Live Test starting in just a few days on 12th October!!! Expect some issue but this test will heavily contribute to a smooth release.
  • 1 Ascension Perk which unlock after A#10 and provide some QoL to Expedition.
  • 4 Ascension Milestone added (into some existing one and a new one for A#18), all affecting the Farming Bonus.
  • Farming 9th Plant is now available with the improvement upgrade for it.
  • 2 Contagion with double bonus for the main game, they unlock at e35 and e40 Fries.


Updated:

  • Various price in the Farming have been changed (some that no one has reach yet).
  • Auto Buy Farming Shop Page 1 Perk will now buy faster.
  • Worms Quantity Leaderboard has been switched to log10 due to it almost reaching e308.

More Fixes v0.42-2:

New:

  • Multiplayer has now it's info that you can already check.


Fixed:

  • Expedition Loadout now display 14 in the selection as well.
  • Issue when a returning player was starting a new game instead of loading to apply all the new changes, this shouldn't happen anymore but if you are stuck in the offline calculation, a new game is required again.


Multi Live Test Announcement & More

New:

  • Multiplayer Live Test will run from 12th October starting 4PM UTC and last for 2 weeks. For this test some reward are real and kept (Soul, Potion, Reincarnation Point) but Premium purchase are disabled, as well as the season point boosting the main game, those will reset when it's released, which should be soon after the test are over IF there isn't a lot to rework/fix. Expect some issue, crash, and others unexpected stuff. Give us as much feedback as you can in the forum/discord or by email. The update with everything ready should be available around the 7-10th October.
  • In app purchase system fully remade for mobile.


Updated:

  • Expedition Loadout now display the exact Damage Pet will do including Synergy.


Fixed:

  • A few minor fix.

New Content & Rework V0.42

New:

  • 2 Contagion that affect the main game (finally).
  • 6 Assembly Line with 7 new Bonuses.
  • 20+ Farming Unique Shop Upgrade.


Updated:

  • Soul Shop Exp Leech & Skulls got reworked following the Potato Digger changes, more in the future.
  • Potion Atk/HP, Potato & Class Exp, Skull & Confection Exp also reworked following the Potato Digger changes but on a smaller scale.
  • Expedition Token will now keep the decimals (it won't be displayed, but you don't have to plan effectively a run due to rounding issue).


Fixed:

  • Being offline in a boss area x-9 for over 24h could lead the potion and whack to be used while giving additional reward like if you were online (not big issue, it was mostly accurate but could lead to confusion, i made sure it wont happens).
  • Locked Assembly Line were providing Level 0 Bonus (not anymore!).

Anniversary Hotfix v0.41-1:

Fixed:

  • Anniversary Pet wasn't staying in the list if you captured it while the Event was going on.


More Changes V0.41

New:

  • Equipment received a soft lock, for 1s after it is dropped, to prevent unintentional scrapping.
  • A Soul Item and a Potion both related to Protein. This will make 3 Potions related to Farming and a pack for them have been added.


Updated:

  • Unlocking Cow Factory for the first time will now give a free Cow (retroactive for everyone that has it unlocked).
  • Ascension will also now always give a free Cow allowing the Factory to start producing Milk directly.
  • Challenge 7 Unlock and Goal are both reduced.
  • Assembly line and the row of bonus will both get some actual value into them upon being unlocked.
  • Cow Buy button now has a Hold to buy.


Fixed:

  • Restarting an Ascension was giving Challenges the wrong Reincarnation Point (simply clicking the restart without doing it could lead to issue as well).
  • Performing an Ascension had some issues with the Equipment scaling (same as last patch fix, but only for a wave).

QoL Part 2 & Fix V0.40

New:

  • Pet got a new window with all the Combo list and unlocked as you find new Pet without the need to figure them yourself, they are then saved so you can easily check all the existing one and click the Pet to equip them directly on your team OR loadout from this new window.


Fix:

  • Doing an Ascension could lead to a few thing breaking, if you had the issue do a restart after this patch is live.


This is the real QoL update (it should include V0.39-5, the Equipment sorting).
More QoL are planned in the near future.
