Overview
Midnight Investigator
Third Person Conversion
Mikes Not Home Delayed
Thank you for all the support!
Here’s what’s been going on with Velsina Productions for the month of April
Midnight Investigator
At the beginning of April I released the remake/Remaster of “Fazbear Nightmare: Legacy”
The goal for this project was to take the M I mode from the Fazbear Nightmare main game and release it as a seperate game to give players something small to hold them over while I work more on “Storymode”
So far this build has had a very positive reception going as far as making it on the front page of gamejolt briefly.
The plan is to continue supporting this release
By the end of May the “Investigation Objectives” update is planned to add the story elements and the Final hour + Endless Nightmare
Third Person Conversion
While working on making full body awareness “True FPS” I accidentally entered the wrong value in the details panel which resulted the camera being pulled farther back. This caused a realisation that the type of game I wanted to make wasn't an FP game, It was always meant to be a Third Person game, I just didn't realise it until now.
For the later half of April I was working on converting the game to be a Third Person Horror game which has helped give the game a much more unique look setting it apart from other FNAF fan games. I’ll continue to post the progress on the conversion including an updated Demo in the coming weeks.
“MNH” is Delayed? Why?
Mikes Not Home is the first of the “H I M episodes” Mini series of games. It was scheduled to release in April but I ended up canceling the build due to being lower quality than expected. The build that was completed didn’t capture the feel I was aiming for and the game just wasn’t fun.
I’m working on rebuilding the game to help create more of a narrative and tie it in with the puzzles.
Also testing the Third person conversion from Fazbear in MNH
Unfortunately Valve still hasn't processed the build causing it to be pushed again.
I set it tentatively for 10 days from now but I'll set it live as soon as the finish the review.
I have 0 control over these delays they are purely on Steams end and they haven't been giving me any information so it's been hard to plan anything.
Sorry again I hope this will all resolve soon
3rd Person?
I was working on adding full-body awareness "TrueFPS" to the game and kinda accidentally made the game 3rd person and really like the look, feel it adds to the art style too.
What happened to the Midnight Investigator Release?
I had originally planned to have the Midnight Investigator build go live here last week.
I had stress tested the build had it live on gamejolt for a couple weeks and completed all the store page setup...so what happened?
I'm not gonna lie i have no idea
In-order for a game to go live on steam there's 3 major steps
Storepage setup
Build review
and Launch
The total time should've been 2-3 days(from when I announced the build)
I passed the store page review
But the build review has been going on for much much longer than what i was originally told
What was supposed to take 2-3 days is taking weeks and valve hasn't told me ANYTHING.
The only thing I've been told as a developer is that the automated system couldn't review the build and that they would manually review the build and that they would give me feedback. quite a while ago and i still haven't heard anything back which has caused me to miss the planned release date so I had to push it back multiple time from this reason alone
At this time the only thing stopping the build for being live is this build review process
I'm sorry for this delay and unfortunatly I don't have any information on when this will be resolved

Ready for Review
I have good news and bad news.
Let's get that bad news out of the way, I have to delay the main game again due to lacking the resources to fully realise it and needing to really work more on getting the game to flow properly.
Now let’s get to the good news, You guys are getting something VERY soon (Like valve is reviewing the build soon)
And that is the side modes!
The first release will be of the alpha of "hours" 1 and 2 of Midnight Investigator, I’ve been working on this as part of the main game but have branched it off and been working on it to be released early, I will continue to update and support this release until its completion as well.
So the release schedule will now involve releasing some the Side modes to help give a more steady stream of content while I work on the main story :)
Thank you all again so much for your support and i cant wait to get your feedback so i can help improve the game :)
