Happy New Year! (Also patch notes v0.70)

RNG Stuff! Lots of it! Detailing it will spoil the fun, but just in case (most of the changes will show up after beating Chapter 1):
-Different groups of enemies may show up on levels
-Added Miniboss as one of possible appearance on city parts
-Legendary enemies! With increased health, purple light-ing and (maybe) a weapon with an attachment!
-Rats may jump out of trash cans
-There's now a "Gastro Cola" machine on some levels. Buy soda, kick'em, have fun!
-Mini-etc things
Also, other not-RNG things
-Shotguns now throw people more far away (all weapons generally, but shotguns do it more)
-Weapon sound will shut no more when switching weapons
-Computer's content will be more visible/readable (increased zoom, changed fonts)
-Added laser pointer's... laser.
-Increased melee weapons hittest-size
-Blocked softlock part of Boss2 Coliseum
-Maybe fixed the Jellyfish insta-floor-kill - needs testing!

Next - I'm owing myself a reality check of everything done and what's left to finish the Early-Access state.

Patch notes v0.69

-Ammo is not lost when entering/exiting Special Mode anymore.
-Changed certain part on certain secret area on certain level
-Added Action figures and dvds to buy - just for collection. They will show up on the tv room

I'm not sure if dvd purchases would be great, since they're very short loops, but they're now purchase-able.
There's now an action figure for every in-game enemy. They're rewards for killing a certain amount.

May I ask two things?
-I heard that it's better to release the game ending when the early access is finished. What do you think about it?
-I'm wondering if every in-game achievement should be awarded ONLY after purchasing an action figure, so... every in-game achievement would be unlocked after: unlocking the action figure, AND purchasing it on the shop. Makes sense, or nah?

Patch Notes for v 0.67

-Changed how the computer works. A Lot. But most have been groundwork to future updates.
-Added lever on portal that enables "Random mode" - all levels will be sorted. Is it better to play that way?
-The scanwall sound is now muted when the stage loads.
-Decreased height of LCD attachments
-I would not like to list it as a feature yet, but the computer may be booted by pressing "F1" when the game starts. It's an incomplete feature, more about it after patch notes.
-Added "VR Dog" toy to the shop
-Little things here and there.

Hi there!
There's an early idea on Fida Puti, that was to add some sort of "chill mode", where the game could be booted with it's bare minimum just to listen to soundtrack, maybe some chillin' ambient sounds to sleep, etc. Since there's some updates needed for the messages system among other details, I took some time to improve how the pc/desktop works ingame. The work is still w.i.p but enough to keep building the game on.
For now, the message system changed (but there's no new messages yet) and there's a simple music player that may now play another list of songs.

Meanwhile, I'm still working on the game's ending AND the new messages content that will show up. Maybe it's also time to finally address a more simple and streamlined weapons-select/inventory.
AND, it's also time to work on that dvd/actionfigure collectibles.

Patch notes for v 0.66 - Weapon Upgrades!

Finally, I've decided an approach on weapon upgrades. There's now 8 different ones that may randomly show on Fida Shops (including the previous one, Armor Piercing). Well, to the list:
-7 random upgrades for firearms on Fida Shops
-Changed Waifu Bot voice a little - fixed it's death voice spatial blend to 3d
-Fixed glitch that allowed player to jump-back-and-pass-walls by crouching
-Solved the issue of sound on the scanwall
-Some other things that I forgot to write down

Next - I will be working to close the history arc. I'm not so sure if I will be able to finish the full game by Christmas, but at least the full history I want to.

Hi there. Long time no see!
I've been working solely on the final encounter on the game's end. Things are close to completion, but there's now some cutscenes/text-work to do, AND there's the proper game ending to do, and I'm not sure if I should add the final boss without the game ending or if not.

Anyway, that's it for now. There's not much changes to be seen because most are hidden until other parts get done first.

Patch notes for v0.63

Hi there! Da list:

-Changed how Chapter 4 works, a lot.
-Added the missing part of the bank level
-Special animation may now be skipped with key E
-Added new in-game tracks (some are W.I.P)
-Miscellanea here and there

This one will be short folks. October was a very difficult month. I will add more details on the next patch notes. Meanwhile, I will be focusing on Chapter 5, the finale.

-Changed how and when enemies are placed on the streets
-Waifu Bot is now armed with deadly homing missiles
-Fixed some weapon reload animations when re-equipping a weapon during a reload.
-Changed some inner workings on death/teleporting, some rare cases of failing death/teleporting may be fixed now (needs more testing)
-Secret areas now contains a secret trunk with cash

Note: some silent patches happened on the beginning of this week, with:
-fixed convenience store limits and now shows reasons on why armor piercing cant be added to selected weapon (also increased armor piercing effect)
-fixing endings on Part III. Plus: enemies will show on more parts of the streets

That's for todays patch! Next, I want to finally address the issue with gamepads, maybe change how choosing clothes/armor works, and change Chapter 4 totally - for something less grindy - and more meaningful.

Patch notes for v0.61 - it's all about ammo

Hi there! this time I have less bullet points and more of a conceptual thing: to improve overall gameplay and lack-of-ammo issues. In the pursuit of this, some things got in place:
-Every game part will now include 2 fixed convenience stores that will have some ammo, AND:
-there's now a special vending machine on those stores. You may use those to buy upgrades like ammo backpacks, armor boost, etc.
-General ammo cans will grant more ammo
-Some cars, when destroyed, will give some ammo
-The amount of ammo before boss fights are now.... greatly reduced

I must confess that I'm dubious on if I should really add in-run upgrades. Every roguelite game have those, and I've always glad to skip those "stop and read those lot of dubious upgrades please". But maybe... it will work? My intention is to make more use of money in-game, and maybe add more money rewards on secret areas to improve gameplay-flow.

Also, Chapter 2 and 3 endings changed.... a little. It's part of some changes that I've been working on.

Next - some main things: I want to get rid of Chapter 4 grinding, but it may take some time. There's an issue with steam controllers that I do still need to figure out, among some things, bugs and... miscellanea to work on. Ah, and the scanwall, it's on the list!

Patch Notes for v0.60

Hi there! Da notes first:
-Dynamites: now holding left mouse charges for longer throws, right mouse does a instant throw
-Added Steam controller support (I guess?)
-Tweaks on enemy aim precision - there will be a small extra chance of hitting a target;
-Added weapon light control, screenshake control and voice audio control
-Little changes on muzzle fire
-Added a little progress indicator during runs.
-Enabled mouse buttons on Input Binding
-Fixed input issues with gamepad input for looking around
-Rats and dogs are more aggressive(actually the jump attack force got increased). Rats are now faster.
-Heavy Ammo pickup increased by one (was 3 now is 4)
-Changes on Punk Armor
-Changes on certain content for "Teen" rating setting (but there's still some unfiltered things to patch yet!)
-nobody asked but, changed toilet animation
-Now right-mouse-button may be used to rotate Minigun barrels. Rotating Minigun barrels resets when equipped.
-Little things here and there.

Realms Deep 2022 was awesome! It was great to see new players aboard and everything.
On our next steps -> we're focusing on creating the chapter 5 finale but, it may change some things here and there for the better (like easing chapter's 4 data-retrieval loop among other things). Since everything will be tied to the game's end, the work is taking more time.

Among other things that are on-the-way, there's issues regarding general employment of enemies on the streets, from the lack-of to the excess that happens on the last lines. Lack of proper lightning, and lack of enemies spawning on alleys. And, other things that I`m studying on to improve.

Patch notes for v 0.58... again?

Hi there!

The day is FULL of work so I will keep this short:
-Railgun got a new charge mode, with damage buff etc
-Lowered cooldown for Alien Pistol
-Adjusted crosshairs to better reflect the shooting output.
-Bullets shot now randomize in a more circular way
-Increased the (short) Double Barrel spread again
-Tweaked N-16 Rifle animations
-Little changes here and there on some levels
-Things here... stuff there...

There's some really cool things on the way, I will detail more next patch.
