We just made kickstarter today for extra features we want to add(human NPCs to negociate trading,help during battle or even attack, player base,boss missions,custom mods for weapons and armors,random event generator,encounters and even MORE content: more maps more characters,more enemi types(including humans) more game mods ,
also for editor for players
and MULTIPLAYER!!!
Also if we get backed on kciksatrter we will be able to finish game in around 2 months , if not finishd game will be somewere in march 2016
But i need your support on it i really need it, any help counts either back it up either share the kickstarter page, anything helps.I place now this project in your hands also even if we dont get the goal i want to say thank you for your help , you managed to get me really hyped and motivated !
Also we still gona keep making updates(even during kickstarter campain), next we plan to concentrate on pathfinding and light engen.

First of all thank you for suporting this project, i read ALL coments and you guys
realy touch my heart ... THANK YOU !
Now, lets see , ah yes the weekend update is here :
POLISH:
- added more animations on map(for example the animation of smoke on tigarete from tables
small stuff that help build the tension)
- mouse not jumping when sleecting char(as sugested by you)
- some more lighting effects)
FEATURES:
- engenier construction kit finishd, each construction kit allows engnier to build
a certan lvl of turret and mine, also now engenier cannot build without having
a construction kit equiped
- antidose now work (finaly yes i know) to use them simple bring infected in range of
aura(works same way as medkits)
- uniq character each with its own set of equipment (not tested may contain bugs)
- engenier third slot unlocked (engenier armor done ,gives imunity to buffs + engenier
radar not finishd but implemented the basics )
- medkits heal , medic without medkits = no heal
- dual turrets implemeted(second lvl and third lvl turret) but not ballanced
(same dmg as normal turrets at this point)
- rpg placeholder is ther (not yet full coded)
- mele weapons added(works but not yet tested so may contain some bugs)
FIXES:
- bug fixed of turret rollover
- 32 bit system game not working fixed
- other mentioned bugs from feedbacks fixed
NEXT:
Next thing we want to do is a big deal:
- we want to remake the pathfinding
you know those problems with survivors getting stuck, zombie not find way also survivors
not finding path , sometimes going trough walls all that we plan on fixing now

UPDATE IS HERE - early sepetember
hey guys
First off excuse my bad english.
Taking in consideration many notes of peoples reiews i decided to give you guys a brifing
of whats happening behinde the courtain of flash eaters development,il try to keep it short
My name is Cristi , and im into game development buisniss since 2008 (bein doing small
flash games until now), im originar from Romania(Dracula & s**t) but i live in Germany
It all started with a dream, im a big nostalgia guy and retro(16bit)gaming fan , it all
started with a dream. I begin working on the game alone in my free time ,i made the artworks
animations and game design then i search for a programmer to bring it to life, sounded like a
plan. Ok i found a coder i hired him, ewrithing went well first month but then at a point he
started doing bad updates just for the sake of doing them so i had to terminate the colaboration
i was depresd , i lost money and i still havent got game finishd so i seekd new coder, ok found
second coder as well, this new guy was slow but he had good polish skills, ewrithing was ok first
month but then updates were becoming more and more harder to get,up to the point were he lost
motivation and abandon project, again i lost money and havent got the game done, only thing
that keept me going at this point was the encouragements from feedbacks , my publisher Dan and
my girlfriend(wich im realy negleting and i hope i wont lose her during this development process)
, my personal life is a mess i have a normal job and in my litle free time i work on this project
investing also my own money in it(coder payments,music and so on) . And now i found a third
programmer and hired him, i have hopes, i fight for my dream and i hope il give you guys a
good game or atlest try and not have regerts.SO to all people that think im doing this only for
money know that so far i invested in this game alot more then i got in return and i still go on
because at the end of the day I WANT TO PLAY IT .
Ok enough boring stuff its time for the promissed update.
WE are a litle back on scheduel and presd by time not all what we wanted was finishd or polishd
but we gona do constant updates next 3 days
Update contains:
POLISH:
- added lighting effect when shooting
- added special effects in menus
- added new effect when character lvls up
- added new character portraits
CONTENT:
- added some engenier and medic items and armors for soldiers in crafting menu
- New map(its not the time for a new map first we wanted to finish the engen and eat but because we had
so many new requests for it we decided to trow in a fast one ,those by marking finishd sandbox mods
, will require some more polish but its now ther) ALso note that NEW MAP HASE NOT BEIN TESTED and may
contain bugs
- we added new enemies : FAT BOY and FAST BOY
- new ballance to the crafting equipment
FEATUIRES
- Buffs now are in game : poison,bleeding,infection
- dificultys are now working(eazy,medium,hard, on eazy can play with full squad of 6 characters)
- description popups (triggerd by certan events)
- added the town map in campaining to give you guys a glimps of what game will look like when finishd
with scavager elements and base building + exploring
FIXES
- fixed mouse bug
- fixed game crashing on some points
- NOTE 1: ther may still be bugs but by letting us know about them we can fix them, next days we will
concentrate on bug fixing
- NOTE 2: the game not starting on 32 bit systems is not yet fixed but we work on it do not worry
- NOTE 3: the error reading squad we made a quiq fix but its posible to still apear , will be
fixed this week
NEXT UPDATE(as in this week):
- next few updates gona contain in polish current content and new bugs that will apear
- some map visual effects polish
- all engenier and medic items working propely
- polish the 2 maps ballance
- polish teh 2 maps visuals
FUTURE
we plan a few more updates so you guys see better if its worth your time then posibly i will start
a kickstarter so i can afford to pay a programmer full time(im almost out of my own money), to buy
more sound effects, extra polish, extra features(such as an map editor) and if all `goes well :
MULTIPLAYER!!!! so it will all be in your hands on how big you want this game.
Things left to do :

- polish current maps(adding story,bugs so on)
- more enemi tyes: abomination,wild animal,spitter(spits poison)
- campaning (a total of around 5 buildings to explore + a hideout were you can craft and rest with
your scavaged resources you find in city)

- weapon and armor mooding(scopes,lazer sights,flash lights,helmets)
- boss type mini-missions
- solid ballance
- solid polish to campaning
- multiple endings
- achievements with rewards
- no bugs
- some NPCs
- random events each time you revisit a building(map) in campaining
- a solid wave system wich should include a random factor
- i must eat realy soon
- save/load game(for campaining)
- highscores
- polish the popups for descriptions
- make a solid tutorial
- NOTEPAD wich can give story background of characters and maybe some extra features
POSIBLY WILL BE(some depend on motivation and some depend on funds aka kickstarter)
- posibly human enemies on wich you can also negociate(includes ranged enemies)
- posibly a remake of pathfinding if fixes wont do it
- posibly a workshop for car(used to travel in campaining)

Dynamic Lighting
Our lighting is now fully dynamic. Settings will be added in the near future to tweak things like ambient occlusion quality or turning it off completely. The lighting is currently in its early stages and does not yet include shadows. The glow around the characters is temporary and will be removed once we add room toggle switches as well as flashlights / weapon equiment modifications.
We will be entering a cleanup stage shortly, we have a few more features planned for the near future first. During this cleanup updates will primarily include bug fixes, UI updates and lots of performance and cleanup.

Bug Fixes & Performance
⁍ Polish and modifcations to the engineer class.
⁍ Increased armor for armored zombies.
⁍ Fixes to shotgun sound levels.
⁍ Hotkey identification number is now displayed in the corner of the selector.
⁍ Internal code cleanup. We are also testing a different exporting method.
NOTIFICATION: We are trying a different exporting method. This may cause unforseen problems. If you

Free Movement + Zombies
We have had a few people experiencing some rather odd bugs. We have made some improvments which should fix many of these.
⁍ Added 2 new zombie types, one can open doors (regular zombies cannot).
⁍ Movement has been changed and is no longer restricted to a grid.
⁍ Improvements and bug fixes.
Our Next Focus:
⁍ Further pulishing the movement system.
⁍ Possible new zombie concepts.
⁍ Buffs + Ailments.
⁍ Armor crafting.
We are nearing completion of the engine core, while trying to efficiently tackle bugs along the way. More content will be the new focus in the near future. We have started designing some concepts for new maps, keep your eye open for spoilers.

Note: Armor selection did not make it into this update due to some concerns in the design. Armor is randomly placed on soldiers on game start and is not selectable from the crafting table. This is top priority for the next patch.
