Patch Notes v0.1c Early Access

Improvements:

  • Default quarter length is now 4 minutes.
  • Reduced size of neutral zone wall and moved defense closer to the ball PreSnap for better pass rushing and blitzing.
  • Moved field collider up so players feet go through floor less. Still needs work (IK pinning).
  • Minor character optimization. Small performance improvement.
  • Doubled spherical linear interpolation speed for right stick click for helmet look lock in replays.
  • Moved safeties back from 10 meters to 14 meters in 4-3 and 3-4 base packages so they don’t get burned over the top so much.
  • Removed debug logging from Release build, for increased performance.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix for sideline player jersey colors.
  • Fixed helmet lock-on issues during replay.
  • Partial fix for face animations in replay.
  • Fix for pause physics glitch.
  • Fix for field goal holder popping.
  • Fix for kickoff tee position. Had to remove physics for the moment.

Physics:

  • Tweaked helmet knock off force for slightly more realism.

Improvements:

  • New referee character.
  • New team textures courtesy of modder Buzz Lightskin.
  • Added controller rumble for hits.
  • Players can Dive, without impulse, while in mid-air.
  • Better switching to closest player to ball landing spot.
  • Better AI running toward ball landing spot.


Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed custom endzone texture so they don’t need transparent edges.
  • Fixed QB AI animation issues.
  • Fixed colors for all star team jerseys.


Physics:

  • Gameplay adjustments for Default physics setting.

Improvements:

  • Partial support for new firmware PS5 controller (Known Issue: DPad doesn’t yet work)
  • Rewrote camera system to smooth out ball snap camera. No more camera pops.
  • Smoothed out players getting up.
  • IK hand catching implemented. Better catching overall.
  • New more dynamic and realistic physics tuning.
  • Fix for pause causing physics issues.
  • Fix for refs being high in the air.
  • Better support for additional force on collision not making helmets fly everywhere.
  • Fixed frame dependency for muscle pull down force.
  • Added grabbing on defense while standing. Happens automatically.
  • Fixes for AI throw lead amount. AI QB now is very accurate.


Coming Soon:

  • More exposed camera and physics variables in the menu (currently only in json files).

Improvements:

  • Better texture import settings for faster loading. Might use slightly more RAM.
  • Tuned physics settings. No more pop on getup. Better tackles. Better diving with ball. More accurate AI and player throws.

Improvements:

  • Small tweaks to passing. 1.04545 player passing instead of 1. 1.15 total for AI. Arm strength down from 0.22 to 0.21
  • Fixed Nickel Sky and Weak Overload that let the X receiver (WR1) wide open for the AI. Just made the CBs do Man Coverage.
