April, 26th is the day Gas Station Simulator’s Airstrip DLC will arrive. This makes for a great opportunity to let you in on some of our plans regarding DLCs and what role they will play in the grand scheme of things, namely the “gas station universe” consisting of the games Gas Station Simulator, Road Diner and Motel Simulator. We covered how these games will work together and influence each other in the past, but we plan to extend that concept to the DLC as well.
So let’s take our Airstrip DLC as an example here. The DLC features Joe, a new character that the DLC kinda evolves around. The first connection between Airstrip and the Road Diner will be a friend of Joe’s who will hook into Joe’s story and background. He will be a special guests at the Road Diner and later at the Motel, too.
While Joe is the prominent character in the DLC, there are other pilots from all over the world. Pilots that can provide you, among other things, with goods unique to their country or state for your gas station. But those goods will also be useful in the future at the Road Diner and the Motel, which is another example how a DLC will connect to these games.
For the pilots we have even bigger plans, especially for the Motel Simulator. Once we release the game, the Airstrip DLC will get an update that adds the necessary systems from the Motel to these pilots so some of them can become guests at motel. It only makes sense that they need a good night’s sleep before continuing their journey.
Until Road Diner and Motel arrive, we will for sure work out more ways how the expand upon DLCs to make them relevant in the other games, too. Now, they won’t be required. It just about giving some additional bonuses or content if you own them.
In case you missed it in previous announcements, along-side continued development for Gas Station Simulator we are also working on two games that will complement your gas station: Road Diner and Motel. While both are separate games, they are connected with each other as well as Gas Station Simulator. Which makes a lot sense, since they are located close-by.
The road diner is just across the highway and the motel will be close to the side of the gas station. When you own any combinations of those games, they will work together, influence each other, provide bonuses and allow you various interesting interactions. This also means that a lot of things we are creating for the road diner and/or the motel will also be adding additional content and features to Gas Station Simulator in order to make this happen.

Welcome to another Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC development update. In the last episode, we’ve shared some information regarding the minigames, so if you’ve somehow managed to miss it, you can still check it out here.
Today we’ll delve into the trading topic again, because there are still some things that are worth mentioning here. Also, make sure to read till the end, since we might have some surprises for you. Without further ado, let’s get started
Plane arrival ✈️
As you might have noticed in our first trading-related devlog, there is a black screen available for you in the barn. There you’ll be able to check the estimated time of arrival, and what kind of plane will be arriving at your airstrip.
The estimated time of arrival (ETA) depends on many different factors. Sometimes flights might be canceled due to some unexpected circumstances. Sometimes as a result of a sandstorm, they’ll be delayed or won’t be able to take off from your airstrip. There will be also some cases in which you might want to delay some of them. This will push them to the bottom of the queue.
As the time of arrival is getting closer and closer, you’ll be able to notice much more details i.e. what kind of items you can sell or buy.
As you probably already know, as soon as the plane lands at your airport, you’ll be able to interact with the pilot and trade for some valuable goods or money. Each plane has a different set of items that also consist of country-related goods such as decorations. Check some of them below, and make sure to let us know what you think of them in the comments.
Easter wishes 🐰 🥚
As this devlog is live just before Easter, we’d like to take this as an opportunity to send some wishes from the whole DRAGO entertainment team! Make sure to charge up your batteries and spend some time with your loved ones ❤️🔥 Happy Easter, folks!
Routastic Sale & Giveaways!💥
Just before we proceed to the end, we’d like to let you know that we’re preparing some great surprises for you all. The first one being a Routastic Sale that will be live on 26th of April, 2023 and will feature some huge discounts on our games, as well as a bunch of different great titles from other friendly developers. Secondly, we’ll be running some giveaways on all of our social media channels, so mark those dates in your calendars and check our socials regularly.
Stay up-to-date📰
And we’ve come to an end, folks! Not gonna lie, the excitement is slowly getting off the charts, as we’re getting closer and closer to the Airstrip DLC release date. We’re so thankful for all of the comments that we’ve received – without your constant support, we wouldn’t be where we’re right now – THANK YOU!
Last but not least make sure to follow us on our social media channels and join our discord, so you can stay up-to-date with any news. Oh… And one more thing:
In case you didn't know, Airstrip is not the only plane related thing we are doing. There is our Airport Contraband that is being developed where you deal with security and smuggling aspects on a small airport:
And no we also have another airport related title. While developing it ourselves, we are going to publish Codebusters Studio's second game: American Airport Simulator. Here your job is going to be turning an old military airfield into a private one and manage it, a bit like Gas Station Simulator, but on an airport:
Welcome back to another development update. In the last one, we’ve shed some light on the trading system, so if that’s your cup of tea, you should definitely check it. In today’s development update, we’ll show you some new minigames coming with the DLC. Without further ado, let’s get the party started🔥
Tape Minigame🩹
As we’ve already explained in the previous devlogs, in some cases you’ll need to help Joe fix his plane. To do that, you’ll need to order a tape which is in the same category as car parts. As soon as you have some at your disposal, you’re ready to repair the holes in the Joe's plane.
Marshall Minigame👨✈️
Every pilot needs proper guidance to take off carefully. In Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC that’s a similar case. To do that, we’ve prepared a new item called Marshaling wands. This will allow you to guide Joe safely by using your mouse so he can adjust the position of his plane. As soon as he reaches the perfect spot, he’ll take off freely. Please keep in mind that these are still work-in-progress stuff. The team is working hard on the polishing part right now. Everything you saw already might differ in some way.
Other activities🧰
Apart from the mechanics that we’ve just described, there’ll be some more actions that you’ll be able to do (although the dirty ones). These include cleaning up the barn, fueling planes, or running a successful trading business.
Stay up-to-date📰
And that would be it for today, fellow jockeys! We’re super excited to tell you that our upcoming DLC will be available this month already! 🔥We’re preparing some great surprises for you, so make sure to check our social media channels on a daily basis.
We're also curios to see your comments regarding the new minigames, so make sure to write them down in the comment section below. Last but not least, if you want to stay updated, follow us on social media, and if you haven’t done it yet, consider adding Airstrip DLC to your wishlist.

We have an offer of a bundle for you, check it out:

Airstrip DLC development update #4 – Trading🤝
Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
Welcome to another devlog in which we’ll do our best to familiarize you with our upcoming DLC. We’ve already shared some details about Joe and Towy, so if you missed the previous devlogs, you can check them here (Meet Joe & Say hi to Towy). Today we’re going to shed some light on the trading aspect that is coming with the Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC. Without further ado, let’s get some trades going!
Trading System 💰
Occasionally, your Airstrip will have the unique opportunity to welcome country-related planes. Each plane will have a different set of products at its disposal, so you'll be able to get some unique items each time they arrive at your airstrip. To make a deal, you’ll need to make sure that your stock is full of high-quality items, as this will boost your chances for a successful trade.
Your chances of success are indicated by a circle that, depending on the item's quality and the amount you want to sell or buy, will change accordingly. It’s totally up to you whether you want to try your luck or not – the rewards might be worth a try, but you have to keep in mind that the pilot might not want to give you a second chance. However, some tricks will aid you or make your life a little harder as you progress through the game.
Boosts 📈 & Impediments📉
Boosts are randomly generated events that create additional opportunities for the player to get a particular item at a preferential price. They can appear both on the players' and pilots' sides, but there is no possibility that they will show up on both sides at the same time. There is only one exception to that rule, but we’ll leave it for you to discover it when the Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC releases on April 28th, 2023!
On the other hand, you’ll also encounter some obstacles along your trading journey. While boosts will significantly help you, the impediments are designed to make the gameplay more challenging.
Card System 💳
To make trading a little easier, we’re adding some active cards that you’ll be able to get if you complete a specific set of tasks in the game. These might be upgrading a particular building or completing a certain amount of trades in the game. There will be four of them for you to collect, and you can already check what their purpose is.
COGENCY
EXTRA TIME
POWER OF CALM
EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE
Stay up-to-date
And we’ve come to an end, fellow jockeys! We hope that you’ve enjoyed our little trading showcase, and we’ll be glad to see your opinions, suggestions, and ideas in the comment section below. Please, keep in mind that everything you’ve seen is still work-in-progress stuff, and we’re doing our best to polish it as much as we can till the release. If you don’t want to miss any news regarding the game or DLC, consider adding it to your wishlist.
Airstrip DLC development update #3 – Say hi to Towy 🚙🧲
Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
First of all, we’re glad to see many positive comments regarding the Airstrip DLC, whether it is on Steam forums or on our discord server. This really pushes us forward in the development journey, and all of this wouldn’t be possible without you, folks! As we promised in our previous devlog, today we’d like to put emphasis on our next friend who will make his way into the Gas Station Simulator – Airstrip DLC. Ladies and Gentlemen, we’d like to introduce you to Towy.
Towy’s role in the game
As we’ve already mentioned a couple of times before, the DLC will be focusing on story-driven aspects. This includes new campaign, and challenges that you’ll have to overcome. One of them will be taking care of Joe’s airplane, so he can travel safely.
However, due to his age, Joe is no longer as great a pilot as he once was, which is why he can sometimes damage his aircraft. This is where you and Towy come in. The future of Joe’s next flight lies in your hands. You’ll need to make sure that all of the damages are fixed, but before you can even start repairing the plane, you’ll need to first drag it to the fixing spot. Only after that you’ll be able to restore it to its full glory, and Joe will be happy to take another voyage.
Keep in mind that it is still work-in-progress. We’re still working on polishing stuff right now, so the final version of this mechanic might differ a little bit from what you see there
Right now you’re probably thinking whether Towy will have the ability to catch & drag cars as well. Rather than keep you guessing if that’s true, we’d already like to inform you that it is a possibility. You can even throw them in the air, although with not the same power as with a broom.
However, we’re curious to see your most crazy suggestions and ideas regarding Towy's mechanics. Feel free to share them in the comment section below. Then, we’ll slowly analyze all of them and see if it’s possible to add some of them in the game.
Stay up-to-date
And that’s it for today, fellow jockeys! What do you think about Towy, folks? We’re really looking forward to your suggestions and ideas, so feel free to drop them down in the comments. Before we finish, we’d already like to invite you to the next devlog which will be live on Wednesday. We’ll dive deeper into the trading system, so if that’s something you’re interested in, you definitely don’t want to miss that day. And last but not least, if you don’t want to miss any news regarding Gas Station Simulator – Airstrip DLC, consider adding it to your wishlist.
We're back with another devlog that will familiarize you with the Gas Station Simulator – Airstrip DLC. Recently, we've shared some brief information about the game, but as we've read through the comments, we've realized that some of you don't know what the DLC is going to be about. Thus, in this development update, we'll share some more information about the main character in the game, his background story, and his role in the game.
Before we move further, we'd like to invite you to our next devlog that will be live on Saturday (we're going to show some new mechanics, so you don't want to miss that one 🔥). Without further ado, let's jump into the main topic of today's devlog! 🤩
Joe's background story 📝
As we announced in the last devlog, Airstrip DLC will have its own, unique campaign that you'll be able to complete. Along with that, we felt that there is a need to add a brand-new character that is strictly related to the DLC but also is familiar with the area where Gas Station Simulator takes place. As a result, we've created Joe – a US Air Force pilot, and war veteran, who suffers from PTSD due to his traumatic experiences in the past.
At first, he might be unpleasant, but as you progress through the game, you'll realize that he is a warm, honest, and most importantly trustworthy man, who you can rely on. However, the question is – how did Joe end up here?
Fortunately for him, one of his old friends has offered him a share in a business he has been running for a while. Both of them decided to take the path of smugglers – they were responsible for transferring goods to the US from Central and South America. Somehow, Joe became fascinated by Latin American culture and decided to focus his efforts on finding the legendary Aztec and Montezuma gold.
Joe's role in the game✈️
As we said at the beginning, Joe is the main character of the DLC. Apart from that, he will also introduce you to a new area of the game. In addition, you'll be able to interact with Joe, and by doing so, you'll get the chance to upgrade the Airstrip area and unlock new tools that will be useful throughout the rest of the game.
The new set of animations 💥
As we're getting closer and closer to the release date, we'd like to present to you a new set of animations that we've been recently working on. These are still work-in-progress stuff, but you can already get a glimpse of how Joe looks in the game. Oh, and feel free to share your thoughts regarding the animations and Joe himself.
Towy's Sneak Peek👀
Surprise, surprise! From today, you might notice a new truck that has been added (but you can't control it just yet) to the base game. This is Towy – a new vehicle that will be helpful in the Airstrip DLC. We'll dive into details on Saturday, so stay tuned for that. We're curious if you can guess in which cases you'll need to use our new friend, so feel free to leave your answers in the comments.
Party Bus Optimization 🚌
As we've read your comments, we also realized that many of you've had some performance issues during the Party Bus event. Fortunately, we can finally say that this has been fixed, and you shouldn't have any problems with that from now on. Additionally, we're still working on fixes and making the game better in general, so your feedback is much appreciated. 🙏
Stay up-to-date 📰
And we've come to an end, fellow Jockeys! ⛽ We hope that you've enjoyed the stuff that we showed today. We cannot wait to see your feedback, so feel free to drop it in the comments below. If you don't want to miss any future updates regarding the Airstrip DLC, consider adding it to your wishlist if you haven't done it yet 🙇
Welcome to the Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC devlog #1
Hi, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
This devlog is gonna be a little different from the previous one, as we recently sat down and thought that we haven’t introduced our upcoming, brand-new DLC properly. Having said that, it will focus on introduction to the Gas Station Simulator - Airstrip DLC rather than on showcasing you some fresh stuff that we’ve been recently working on (although, we’ll have some new screens available for you at the end).
To kick things off, we’ve recently announced the release date for our new DLC along with the new, short teaser, so if you haven’t seen it yet, now it’s the perfect time to catch up with it. Check it out below ⬇️
Gas Station Simulator is all about enjoyable experiences that can be best achieved through some fresh, brand-new mechanics and features. We want the game to be as unique as possible. Thus, Airstrip DLC not only will have some new features for you to uncover, but also a separate campaign to complete.
As we said at the beginning of this devlog, we’d like to showcase you some new screenshots that we’ve recently prepared. Check them out and let us know what you think of them in the comment section below.
Oh, and one more thing before we finish – as there are many of you out there, who cannot wait for more stuff to come, we’d like to announce that from this devlog till the Airstrip DLC launch day, you can expect at least one devlog per week. Each of them will focus on some cool, new stuff that we’re cooking on for you, so make sure to follow us on social media and add the DLC to your wishlist if you haven’t done it yet. What is more, before the release of Airstrip DLC we'll make sure to give you at least one update that will focus mainly on bug fixes and general issues that you've been encountering, so stay tuned for that.
And that would be it for today, fellow jockeys! We hope that we made things a little bit clearer and we shed some light on our future plans. Thank you so much for your constant support and feedback that you’ve been sending us, and if you don’t want to miss any future updates regarding Gas Station Simulator, make sure to follow us on our socials and consider joining our discord server when you can report a bug, meet other jockeys, or simply talk about anything you want.
And last but not least, for all the women across the globe, we'd like to wish you a happy International Women's Day❤️
