Welcome to the first announcement in 2024! I hope you had a wonderful break and you’ve managed to greet 2024 with a blast. In today’s devlog, I’m thrilled to bring you some information about the upcoming update for Gas Station Simulator - the Economy Update! This update aims to make the in-game economic system more dynamic, providing a more realistic and engaging financial challenge for you folks! Let’s roll!
What is an Economy Update? 🤔
An Economy Update involves a comprehensive rebalancing of various in-game elements related to finances, prices, and economic interactions. In this update, we've focused on refining the pricing structures for gas. Additionally, we've introduced new features like a dynamic gas pricing curve, delivery fees, and expanded loan options to add depth and complexity to the game's economic landscape.
Gas Pricing ⛽
With this update, we’re finally adding a visible dynamic pricing curve for gas. This curve will reflect recent price trends, providing you with a more realistic and dynamic market to navigate. Keep an eye on the gas ordering interface to stay informed about the current pricing trends.
Delivery Fees 💰
Starting with this update, deliveries will incur a fee if the order amount is less than $150. The delivery cost will be a flat $25.
Loans 🤝
To cater to the diverse financial needs, we've introduced additional loan options. Each loan comes as usual, with a specified amount to borrow and a set time frame for repayment:
<*>$100 - $200 (8 minutes to pay back) <*>$250 - $450 (12 minutes to pay back) <*>$500 - $800 (16 minutes to pay back) <*>$1000 - $1400 (24 minutes to pay back) <*>$2000 - $2500 (36 minutes to pay back)
The initial design of the loan system remains unchanged. In the unfortunate event of non-repayment, the biker will make an appearance to collect the player's movable properties with a value similar to the outstanding loan. In other words - think twice before you decide to get yourself a loan – If I were you, I wouldn’t like to meet the biker face to face while taking my stuff away.
New Widgets 👀
Storehouse Inventory Widget 📦
In response to player feedback, we're introducing a handy new widget that displays the current inventory count in your storehouse. Keep track of your stocked items efficiently and plan your restocking strategies accordingly.
Financial Overview Widget 📊
Stay on top of your financial game with the new Financial Overview Widget. This feature provides a detailed breakdown of your spendings and earnings, helping you manage your station's finances more effectively.
Pricing Adjustments 💲
Client Purchases 🙋
As part of the Economy Update, we've meticulously reviewed and adjusted the prices for items that customers can purchase at your station.
Workshop Prices 🛠️
Speaking about adjusting prices – we’ve also extended our scrutiny to the workshop. Prices for both items and services in the workshop have been fine-tuned to reflect a more realistic economic model.

Gas Station Simulator – Tidal Wave DLC devlog #2 – Mortal Business 👦
Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
It’s Sewek again! Welcome to another Tidal Wave DLC related devlog. In today’s development update, I’m gonna delve into the Mortal Business system that’s gonna be crucial in our upcoming DLC. Get ready to dive deep into the world of business mortality, aquatic adventures, and, of course, the notorious Chunchumanchu god. If you somehow missed the first Tidal Wave DLC devlog, you can still read it by clicking this link. But enough talkin’ Let's explore the key features of the Mortal Business system 👇
Mortal Business System ☠️
In the Tidal Wave DLC, we're introducing a brand-new Mortal Business system. Every time a client meets an unfortunate end in the ocean, the wrath of Chunchumanchu god will intensify. You might be thinking right now – OK, but what am I supposed to do with that? Well, actually more than you might have expected. First of all, it’s your job to keep the rental equipment in the best quality possible.
If you neglect taking care of the gear, it’s gonna lose its durability which might lead to a devastating accident with deadly consequences. You will need to balance profit-making with ethical decisions to avoid invoking the wrath of the mighty god. It's a dynamic twist that adds a layer of strategic depth to your Gas Station management.
The Shark 🦈
Did you miss Dennis? If so, I have some good news for ya! He will also be a part of the Tidal Wave DLC…But just in a different form to say the least. In our brand-new DLC your main antagonist is gonna be a devastating shark lurking in the ocean.
You will need to fend him off from time to time to keep your customers safe while they venture into the ocean. To do so, we're giving you a means of power this time! A handy hand cannon at your disposal 💥
Scuba Diving 🤿
For the first time ever, your Gas Station will extend its services to the open waters. Clients can now rent windsurfing boats and scuba diving gear, offering a refreshing break from the routine fueling and cashier duties. But every adventure has its own dangers, right?
I just spoke with our Head of Social Media, and he really wanted me to remind you guys about our giveaway that is currently running. I promised him that I’m gonna bring as many of you as possible, so be so kind and do me a favor 🙏I don’t want him to be mad at me 🙀Click the image below and may the for… luck of course, be with you 🍀
Christmas wishes 🎄
Oh and since I’ve got your attention, I’d like to wish all of you a Merry, Merry Christmas! Spend this time with your loved ones, charge up your batteries, play some fantastic games, and we shall welcome 2024 with a banger 💣

Quest System Rework is here! 🔥
Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
Welcome to another Gas Station Simulator development update. Today I have the privilege to announce that the long-awaited quest system rework update is finally here. It’s probably one of the most important updates in the history of Gas Station Simulator, so don’t hesitate and go check it out.
What exactly Quest System Rework does?
But what exactly will this rework do – you might think. Don’t worry – I’ve got you covered. So, for those of you who are not familiar with the Airstrip DLC – its storyline starts as soon as you upgrade your station to the 3rd level and you hire your very first employee. Before the quest system rework, you’d need to complete dozens of Airstrip DLC quests, while those related to the base game were hidden until you’ve finished the DLC ones. With the quest system rework you now have the possibility to choose in which particular order you’d like to do them.
Let me give you an example – Let’s start from the point where you’ve upgraded your station already to the 3rd level and Airstrip DLC quests come in. You can do them if you want, but if you feel like you need more money, employees, popularity or whatever you need basically, you can always follow the main ones without worrying much about the Airstrip DLC. In other words – until you feel like you’re ready to go with Airstrip DLC, you can freely focus on growing your gas station empire. And yes – you can complete for example three Airstrip-related quests and come back again to the base game, leaving Airstrip for the later.
Oh… And one more thing: As soon as you download the update make sure to check out if everything works as intended – especially saves. If by any means you’ll encounter any issues, make sure to leave your comment under this announcement or contact us via email here: support@drago-entertainment.com

Gas Station Simulator – Tidal Wave DLC Devlog #1 🚤
Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽
It's been a while since our last announcement but we've been working tirelessly on a quest system rework, some improvements to the game, and a Tidal Wave DLC content. Speaking about – today's devlog is gonna be the first one about our upcoming DLC. From now on on a regular basis, I'll be posting those so you can better understand what Tidal Wave DLC is. Without further ado, let's roll!
Different setting = Different challenges
As many of you know, Gas Station Simulator - Tidal Wave DLC puts you in charge of a gas station on a tropical island which is a totally different setting and vibe than the famous desert on Route 66. However, as you might have guessed already from the headline – different setting comes with a different set of challenges, activities, mechanics, and much, much more!
One great example here is fueling jet skis. Yeap, you've read that right! Apart from fueling cars, you'll have the unique opportunity to take care of jet skis as well. Will there be more mechanics connected to jet skis? Unfortunately, devs told me that I cannot spoil anything yet, so I'll have to keep you guessing.
But there are more familiar things that come in totally new packages. Remember ordering products? You still have to get those shelves stocked somehow. Instead of a truck, as you're on an island, expect to have your goods delivered in form of a spacious yacht. How cool is that?
Stay up-to-date 📰
And that would be it for today's announcement, fellow gas jockeys. Make sure to let me know in the comments if you prefer more regular devlogs but smaller ones, or you'd rather see bigger one let's say once per month. Apart from that, don't hesitate to share your feedback about the Gas Station Simulator - Tidal Wave DLC in the comments below. And last but not the least, if you don't want to miss any future updates, consider adding the DLC to your wishlist. See you in another devlog!
