Hello everyone! Thanks for your patience 😊

In this update we have made significant changes to control system. Now you can shoot in any direction, not only in front of you.


In the next update a new mod system with Steam Workshop integration will be added, also some fixes, balance changes, and finishing incomplete stuff we already have.

What’s new:

  • Aiming with your mouse and a gamepad sticks.
  • Now you can shoot your secondary weapon without switching.
  • Improved gamepad controls. Analog buttons and sticks are supported now.
    Control menu changed.
  • New default bindings.
  • New scenario functions. They can be triggered only when a player with needed movement controls is connected.


Changes:

  • Updated sprites of certain enemies.


Fixes:

  • Bullets were not disappearing if they fly beyond an updating zone on a huge maps. Zombies were dying “without reason” because of that.
  • Fixed a bug where player is sent flying to the sky after exiting a motor bike
  • Now you can use left and right arrow buttons in a map menu.
  • Fixed weapon spray pattern.

New version!


New stuff:
  • New map "The Road”. Also added a new mode - move from one point to another.
  • New object type to work with maps and scenarios - "Script Object". It allows to create enemy spawn point and launch specific scenario where player enters marked area on map.
  • Updated images of boxes and medpacks.


Changes:
  • Changed health bar color when player is invulnerable, now it's more noticable.
  • Text bubbles and HUD becomes half transparent when there's something behind them.
  • Optimized performance, now you can play very big maps.


Fixes:
  • Fixed player invulnerability when HP are between 0 and 1.
  • Changes for Bleeding Out stance:

    • Vusial effect now appears in correct place.
    • Timer is working in both directions.
    • Bubble "Need help!" now dissappears when someone is helping already.

  • Fixed images for 3rd and 4th gamepads in movement settings menu.
  • Fixed perks without names.
  • Mouse and keyboard selection doesn't lag in menu anymore.
  • Fixed tips for menu buttons (also for perks).
  • Fixed walking area on maps when Passability is gray.
  • Fixed button positions in cheat-menu.

New version! Added transport! 🤘🏻


Transport variety will be increased in future. Motorcycle was added first because it's the first transport met in campaign.
You can ride it with a friend, shoot, crush zombies, and boost.
It has limited health and hitting zombies will reduce it. Using boost makes motorcycle invulnerable (and you better use it before ramming things).

I know, collision with unwalkable map zones is not good but I'll work on it! 🙂

What's new:
  • Motorcycle! Without sound for now.
  • New map - "Moto-survival". It's made mostly to test transport. In future new maps will be added where you will be able to test vehicles as it intended - ride long distances.
  • When player is invulnerable, their health bar becomes gray (example: player becomes invulnerable for a short time after taking damage).


Changes:
  • Website graverun.ru is now simplified and its services (like mods, records, manuals) will work through Steam.
  • Improved some enemy animations. Sprites become smoother, added more frames per animation. Added "Sprite Run Delay" and "Sprite Dying Delay" commands to set animation speed.
  • Send Record feature is temporary disabled.
  • If no players are connected after choosing a level, a red player with first keyboard settings is chosen.


Fixes:
  • Fixed box pick up radius.
  • Fixed "Win/Lose" screen size.

Yes, player is sitting in a wrong place, wheels aren't spinning and dirt flies away from the middle. But still it's already very cool! 😄

Hotfix update!

Well, not really "hot", but it was necessary to fix some graphics stuff. Many players had strange buggy stripes near text in fullscreen mode. Also the whole graphics wasn't looking good.

Now it should be better 😊

New:

  • Added function to create a random sized box. It was added mostly for a debug.


Changes:

  • Changed image output method. Now you should not see stripes and other graphics bugs. Fonts become nicer.
  • Barrels and boxes now work with a sprite system (the one with a red dot in a null frame).
  • "Massacre" level was renamed to "Demo Level".
  • "Civil disorder" level got some visual changes.


Fixes:

  • Improved text bubble system.
  • Fixed hotkeys for scenario map list.
  • Some perk description fixes.
  • Changed screen mode hotkey in settings menu.

Widescreen update! 🤠




Horray! The game has moved to 21th century - now it has 16:9 widescreen support!😁

As I said before, this update will be about fixes. Still working on story campaign mode and then I will add more new content.

New stuff:
  • Controls in Tutorial mode are now shown as key images and is linked to current binds.
  • Slowmo now activates automatically for a moment if you take any damage.
  • Added powerful parallel scenario editor for maps. Now all NPCs can have individual scenario that is not affected by main one (map scenario).
  • New command for NPC - WaitForIdle. It stops map scenario till chosen NPC reaches the target and enters idle mode.


Changes:

  • New library for working with Steam.
  • Cnanged default keyboard and gamepad bindings.
  • Game resolution is now widescreen (16:9). Changed image stretch in fullscreen mode.
  • Small sound adjustements. Now its stereo even if sound source is at the screen side (Left or Right).
  • Some maps become bigger after widescreen update.
  • Slight menu adjustements.
  • Player2 now has individual bindings for pause and slowmo.
  • Improved AddEnemy command with "Left" and "Right" parameters.


Fixes:

  • Fixed black screen after changing to fullscreen mode.
  • Fixed bug that causes pause menu to appear in Game Over screen.
  • "Upgrade point coin" is not visible in transparent HUD anymore.
  • Hotkey binding menu fix: hotkey outline glow won't appear in places where there's no hotkeys.
  • Fixed "On\Off" indicator shifting away when scrolling mods menu too fast.
  • Text bubbles are now affected by slowmo.

Handy-party update is now live! 🍻



Innovations:

  • Now you can play in party of three and four, but without saving record stats.
  • Players now have colored circle around them to make them easier to recognise from enemies and other players.
  • Weapon now automatically switches to secondary one if its ammo is gone.
  • Enemies that are dangerously close to the player will be marked.
  • Players and enemies can now be seen behind parts of environment (like trees or house) with half transparency and will not be lost from the sight.
  • If all players are at full health (at maximum HP) first aid kits won’t drop randomly. Now if you kill the boss with 100% HP you won’t get large first aid kit from it.


Changes:

  • Now player cannot bleed out if no one is helping them. Before the change you had only 30 seconds to help the fallen.
  • Reworked key settings menu.
  • Now toggling Bullettime on and off is possible only with 200ms interval so players won’t mess it up for each other.
  • Hotseat play now increases enemy quantity instead of their HP.
  • Slowmo effect after unpausing was increased to make it easier to find yourself and adapt to enemies nearby.
  • Screen blacking out was decreased while Bullettime is active.


Fixes:

  • Code line renamed: DiametorMultipler -> DiameterMultipler.
  • Fixed screen freezing bug when bullet hits an enemy.
  • Player cannot die from taking damage while in bleeding out state.
  • Decreased brightness of damage indicator. Fixed damage indicator is getting stuck on screen.
  • Fixed bug that doesn’t allow to use Bullettime while playing hotseat with single keyboard.
  • Fixed “Help” indicator getting stuck under player after being revived.
