ver. 0.1.8.4 - Training Day
We finally have an actual tutorial for the game! This is nothing too exciting for existing players but hopefully new players feel more welcome now. To make up for existing players we've added a friggin' chainsaw! We've also put in "old school controls" for those 2 fanatics who wished to experience the clunky 90 degree movements again. Last but not least we tried to de-uglify the game ever so slightly. Don't worry, it's still plenty ugly but it's the inside that counts, right? Right?
New
Single Player mode: Tutorial
Primary Weapon: Chainsaw
Game setting: Old School Controls

ver. 0.1.8.3 - Size Matters
A popular request since the early days has been having a smaller arena to play in. The standard play area can seem big for the action hungry players or when it's just you and a couple of friends. Fear not as you now have the option to play in a smaller map, ideally suited for 4 players or less but by all means go crazy with more if it's chaos you're after! All current multiplayer modes support the small map size.
A couple of other tasks that have been sitting on my to-do list for a long time have been completed as well. Ice can now break so be careful out there! Fluctuating Market game option on the other hand enables variable Shop prices - Better stock up on those discount Nukes!
Finally there's been a few changes on the Endless mode. Turns out the end-game was pretty much broken and you could go on forever with a certain setup. Thanks to "Teams Medic" who was pushing me to try harder and harder for that leaderboard top spot. I suicided at 43min but have since deleted that score. I'll keep tweaking this mode until we find a nice sweet spot - something that is challenging but fair. Note that leaderboard scores are likely to reset before reaching v1.0.
New
Smaller map size available
Ice can break on winter map

ver. 0.1.8.1 - All By Myself
I wasn't sure if there would ever be single player content for this game but I'm glad I decided to do it. As a result we now have the first single player game mode called "Endless". As the name might suggest you fight/defend againts an endless stream of enemies until you are overtaken. There's no winning in this mode but you can reign supreme in the global leaderboards! If you'd like more single player content in Gun Bombers please let your voice be heard.
