Small Hotfix + Language Support Patch: German Added!

We added support for German today, you can change it from the Language settings in the game OR it will inherit your Steam UI language.

- Bug fixes to verify
-- W + Jump out of meditate input lock
-- Jump/falling input lock
-- Input lock for getting ability cursed while mid-aim (Ite). Abilities will now fire immediately per feedback.
-- Late joiners being able to see ritual site beams when inactive.
-- Hanako village bugs: kill Z, collision changes, spawn location fixes.
-- AI not pathing (if they stop pathing on any map)
-- Parry reliability while moving.
- UI changes
-- Skill points msg in base even when points used.
-- ESC support added to Class select, team select and chat input.
- FX changes
-- Sweeping charge - new gameplay FX
-- Destructible gate - new FX on partial damage animation.

Release Date Announcement, Trailer & TONIGHT'S CELEBRATION EVENT 10pm EST

We'll finally be graduating out of Early Access on Steam into full release September 15th. I started this project 14 years ago to honor my late mother and fast forward to now most of our dev team has lost a parent to cancer as our game as a tribute has grown to honor more than just my mom.

We've worked on this at night, after game/software jobs, in our free time with no budget for the last 10 contiguous years after this started as a college project.

This trailer was a really emotional one for me, the debut of our final map Yamai Castle. I saved this map for last because it's a symbolic representation of getting to face the cancer that took a parent, cleanse it and defeat it. The transformation in the trailer if my favorite thing we've ever done the entire project, I have a hard time watching it and that's very much on purpose.

Hope you all like the trailer and see promise in the game, we hope to see you on the battlefield anytime between now and during/after release. We run events on Discord weekly

New Languages Available: Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, S. Chinese & Spanish

We added an update today that adds support for the following languages for the full UI, all text, etc.:


  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Russian
  • Spanish
  • Simplified Chinese


They can be set from the game's properties in your Steam library or it will auto-detect this language if your Steam client is already set to one of the available languages.

As budget allows (sadly our budget is very, very small) we will add more languages as we can afford the translation services.

- Animation improvements to various animations across the game.
- Loadouts for cosmetics can now be changed in-game, and will apply after the next respawn.
- Item store updates: Masks and mask bundle are now available for purchase through Steam.
