We're pretty well, but also SUPER ANXIOUS with what's coming this week: the so awaited final release of Hellbound next Tuesday (August 4th) π€
Lot of things have happened since we started working on Hellbound (officially in 2016) with the team at Saibot Studios.
There was a lot of experience acquired in all these years; and we went through a pretty tough journey in creativity, in technical aspects and even in business.
But we finally get to the so awaited launch state π
So I wanted to share something pretty special with all of you who have been supporting us for so many years...
This horrible imagen is THE FIRST THING I (Tobias Rusjan) made as mockup to tell the development team what was inside my mind about Hellbound (for that time, it didn't even have a name).
This abomination was built with screenshots from other games like Serious Sam 3: BFE, pictures found on Google Images, and action figures of the Spawn series (McFarlane) π
I probably made this during a free time of the last Doorways game (mid 2015).
I found this image while I was searching the project folders and I decided to share it with you guys.
I think what we were capable of making in all these years with Saibot was really worth it. We don't know how things are going to happen in terms of sales, but I can tell that I'm really proud of what we have created in all this years.
Hope you also like our work and even feel our blood running thru the game in any sort of way π

Ours has been CRAZY! (in a good way, of course)
The Closed Beta started last Tuesday, and since then we have been getting in touch with a lot of you guys on Discord. Are you still not part of it? Get in now, and don't miss all the fun!
Thanks to the beta and full-functioning Discord, we were able to fix a major issue just in time before the final release on August 4th (next Tuesday) π€
Right now we're preparing everything for the gameβs launch, including a new (and kicka**) video trailer.
Thatβs not all the great news we have to shareβ¦ Today the game has more than 57k Wishlists on Steam, which for us is A LOT π
We're overjoyed and excited, rooting for everything to turn out great! In that spirit we wanted to give you all a big thanks for all the support, you're our fuel in this crazy race to Hell! π

We have just made an update for the Closed Beta. We have been working on it for the previous weeks, but just today it got approved from the QA team π
Also fixed the crash that was hapening to some of you when trying to start the Closed Beta.

Common issue in Closed Beta π¦
Guys! There's a damn bug crashing the Closed Beta. While we fix it, please try this workaround:
- Enter the directory %localappdata%/Hellbound/ - Delete the "Saved" folder
That's the configuration from the Demo version. You wont't need that anymore, so you can delete it to solve the crash.
If the Saved folder is not in that directory, look for it inside the game's folder: Right Click on Hellbound from the Steam Library > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files...

To all the awesome people (and creatures) who supported us pre-ordering the game at our Website or Kickstarter...
We're going to start sending the Keycodes for the Closed Beta of Hellbound: Campaign Mode next week; and in lees than two weeks (August 4th) we'll finally make the public release π€―
In the meantime, we want to share with you some of the Tombs we have been working on for our lovely Backers from Kickstarter and from our Official Website π
Some of them are Headstones with their names and pictures:
And others are Busts, with their 3D heads sculped:
Everything made by our talented teammates Fernando Muzzio (concepts) and Juan Caratino (3D) π
We're still working on the Full Body Statues, which are the most complex to create.
But most of the Headstones and Busts have already been done, so you're going to see them inside the game at "The Heroes' Cemetery" π»
