Hexarchy is a fast-paced strategy game. It takes the consequential decisions of a multi-hour 4x game and packs them into an action-packed hour long game.
Instead of watching me get owned again, this time we'll start with single player so I can take my time explaining the game to new and prospective players. This will also allow me to take questions more easily.
Then, at the end maybe we'll do another multiplayer game and you can watch me get owned again.

The Hexarchy Steam Next Fest demo is now live!
Try it now and see what strat royale is all about. Play the tutorial, climb the daily challenge leaderboard, and even jump into a multiplayer battle royale with other players. All included in the free demo for a limited time!

A note for our alpha testers that play the non-demo version on Steam: Multiplayer works fine with demo players but unfortunately the Daily Challenge leaderboard does not. We encourage everyone that's doing the challenges to play the demo version for the next week so all of our scores will be on the same leaderboard. Unfortunately, Steam doesn't let you download the demo for a game that is already in your library. The only way around this that we've discovered is to switch your Steam client to an account that doesn't have Hexarchy in its library, install the demo, then switch back. Since the demo is free it should show up in both libraries at that point. Sorry for the inconvenience!

New building: Courthouse. Obtained by researching Philosophy. Reduces gold maintenance for a city by 50%
Added leaderboard for daily challenges. Unfortunately these are tied to the Steam App ID you are playing, so demo players will not see scores from alpha players. We encourage all alpha players to play the Demo version for the duration of the Steam Next Fest.
Added a sporadic in-game popup for when players are looking for a multiplayer game so you can easily join them

The Steam playtest ends Thursday, February 17.

Hexarchy Kickstarter Coming Soon - Follow it now!
We're excited to announce that we'll be launching a Kickstarter on March 14 to push Hexarchy across the 1.0 finish line.
If you're interested in being a part of the final phase of the game's development, follow us on Kickstarter by clicking the Notify me on launch button. More followers will help us out with the Kickstarter algorithms.
Some of the main things we'll be using the Kickstarter funds for:
- Building out the missing game systems and tech tree - Another unique ability per Civ, a unique unit per Civ, and possibly a unique passive bonus - Localization - Original soundtrack - Original card illustrations for all cards in the game
