Immune 0.8.5 Anti-Griefing Update

What's new in Immune 0.8.5:
<*>New no-build zones, so you can't build around most mission objectives anymore to avoid griefing.
<*>Better indication of NPCs you can interact with and mission targets.
<*>Better indication of buildings taking damage.
<*>Tried to fix rare bug where you couldn't get off cars anymore. Please send me your output_log.txt if you still encounter this bug.
<*>Fixed bug where you could get stuck in water by leaving your car next to the sea.
<*>Fixed bug where you could walk through some of the big rocks.
<*>Fixed bug where you didn't drop a newly bought item on the ground when your inventory was full.
<*>New wooden stick model.

Current buildings in the no-build zones will not be deleted. You just can't build new ones. So if you still see some blocked of mission objectives, destroy the blocking buildings and be sure that they are gone for good. :)

Immune 0.8.3/0.8.4 Let's Build Together & Bugfix Update

What's new in Immune 0.8.3:
<*>You can now build next to others players' buildings, except doors. This makes collaborative building easier.
<*>Fleeing NPCs are now easier to catch and less likely to run into the sea.
<*>The loot boxes mostly found in houses now contain/drop random items from time to time.
<*>You can't place two buildings on the very same spot anymore (which caused bugged doors).
<*>Changed auto target function to NPCs only. You won't automatically target players anymore.
<*>Improved tutorial.
<*>Decreased minimum distance to enter a car from 3.3 to 2.5 meters.

Immune 0.8.2 Promo Item Update

What's new in Immune 0.8.2:
<*>Missions now also drop one extraordinary item as small thank you for all players who bought Immune.
<*>Changed respawn positions to safe places next to friendly NPCs.
<*>Case opening also displays the item colors to indicate their rarity.
<*>New better looking backpack model.
<*>Placed Community Market and Steam Inventory buttons in the main menu screen.
<*>New main menu background.
<*>Fixed bug where step sounds only appeared occasionally.
<*>Fixed bug where missions didn't end after 60 minutes.
<*>Fixed some minor details, text errors, rounding errors, missing hats on mission npcs etc.

As a small thank you the missions also reward you with a special item, which will only be dropped for people who bought Immune until the game gets free to play. This item will be dropped if no other drop occured. So make sure you get it as long as it's hot. :)

Immune 0.8.1 Steam Inventory Update

How to get more concurrent players into Immune?

That question kept us awake for the last few updates, because Immune is most fun if played together with other people. After many attempts to solve this riddle, we now chose to turn Immune into a free to play game over the next few weeks. This probably is the only way for us to ensure Immune is the multiplayer experience we want it to be.

That being said, we won't turn Immune into pay to win. With this update we turned hats into Steam Inventory items instead of ingame items. You now get hats from cases, which have to be unlocked with keys. You have a chance of getting a case dropped when solving missions.

To thank all our players who already bought Immune, solved missions will also drop keys from time to time and you'll get much more drops. When Immune turns free, this will change and you'll only be able to get keys by buying them. The price of the keys will also rise.

Unfortunately we had to remove the ingame hat items to implement the new system. But now hats won't be lost if you die, so make sure you collect all the cases, keys and hats before Immune gets free. :)

<*>Hats are Steam Inventory items now! They can be traded, sold, bought or received from cases.
<*>Solving a mission now drops you a case sometimes, which contains one random hat. You can unlock cases with keys.
<*>Solving a mission now drops you a case key sometimes.
<*>Gasmask NPCs carry less powered weapons.
<*>Rebalanced all item drops. Weapons are more rare now. Trash bins and car wrecks drop more but less valuable items.
<*>Added name signs for cities.
<*>Made all trash objects slightly smaller (they were a bit too big).
<*>Made it less likely to get conditions on damage.
<*>Zombies are a tiny bit slower and deal less damage.
<*>Ammo and pill merchants in Hometown have more items in stock.
<*>Zombies and gasmask dudes do not drop raw meat anymore, because cannibalism is silly.
<*>Adjusted sound volumes for sounds like tire squeel, car crash and some others.
<*>Most of the food gives you more energy now.

Immune 0.8.0 Mission Update

What's new in Immune 0.8.0:
<*>Added missions like destroying enemy targets, assassinations or hostage rescues.
<*>Added mission NPCs.
<*>Added mission specific game objects.
<*>Improved map. Added more details and city names.
<*>Added sound effects for: "mission complete", "level up" and "error text message".
<*>Camera moves less into looking direction, to improve aiming with the mouse.
<*>Fixed bug where any item in your shoe slot would receive damage from walking. This was only meant for shoes.
<*>Increased damage dealt by non-weapon items in your weapon slot from 3 to 5 to match fist damage.
<*>Lower life drain on starving, bleeding and infection conditions.
<*>Conditions last shorter on average.

You can also join the same quest with your buddies if you approach the same NPC at the same time (within one minute).
Open your map with M to check where your quest is located.

Phew, this was some work I tell ya. :) I hope the next update will be a bit faster.

Immune 0.7.2 Item Repair & Car Update

What's new in Immune 0.7.2:
<*>Added friendly, item-repairing NPCs.
<*>Improved vehicle physics. It's more stable on a straight line now.
<*>Fixed shop accept button bug, which made you sell the item under the accept button (if any).
<*>Fixed bug where all players in an exploding car droped their loot into one backpack, which could cause loot loss.
<*>Freezing and pain conditions do not stop you from healing anymore.
<*>Made medicine cheaper.
<*>Bleeding condition causes less damage.
<*>Made shoes wear out on walking.
<*>Increased decay time from 36 to 48 hours for wooden walls & doors.

Immune 0.7.1 Network Performance & Mutant Horde Update

What's new in Immune 0.7.1:

  • Migrated servers to better hardware. Less lags! Better performance!
  • Added mutant hordes which roam the world (experimental).
  • Added more trader NPCs all over the world.
  • You can now catch fish with the fishing rod by attacking with it while standing near the sea.
  • New items: Raw Fish, Cooked Fish, Wine and Knife.
  • Fixed bug where you got stuck in your bed when respawning on it.
  • Fixed wrong run animation playback speed for cows and mutants.
  • Reduced flickering of the mouse cursor.

Immune 0.7.0 NPC & Player Conditions Update

What's new in Immune 0.7.0:

  • New friendly, item-trading NPCs.
  • New item which works as currency: "Gold Nuggets"
  • There are new exciting ways to die like pain, infection, bleeding, starvation, freezing or radiation. Yay survival!
  • New consumable items to treat the new conditions: painkillers, antibiotics and bandages.
  • Added new building "Bed" which works as a respawn.
  • Added trading cards to the game.
  • New non-PVP zone, where you can't attack at all.
  • New lootable object: lockers.
  • Fixed bug where some buildings didnt decay.
  • Added item description texts to the crafting menu.
  • Fixed bug where the amount text was drawn over the consume/split item GUI.

I had to wipe all the servers due to big changes in the database.

Immune 0.6.6 Point & Click Update

What's new in Immune 0.6.6:

  • Point & Click: Your character now runs to the spot you click.
  • Point & Click: You can also pickup items or open containers by clicking on them.
  • Point & Click: You can also enter a car or repair buildings with your right mouse button.
  • Gamepad stick controls are more smooth now.
  • New option in main menu to switch between languages.
  • Improved drops for mutants and the power plant.
  • Fixed invisible holes in the "coming soon" walls.
  • Fixed bug where your car blew up when driving over bridges.
  • Fixed text mistake in translations: you repair your buildings with E not with Space.
  • Fixed bug where some NPCs couldn't be attacked (f.ex. at the power plant).
  • Fixed server memory leak.


I changed some performance values in the server by fixing the memory leak, so please tell me if you experience better or worse lag on your favourite server.

Please let me know in the forums what you think of the new point & click controls. It's a first version which might be a bit rough around the edges to get your feedback. :)

Immune 0.6.5 Bugfix Update

What's new in Immune 0.6.5:

  • Fixed bug where items, backpacks and boxes got invisible occasionally! (Sorry for that, the new item pickup effect was buggy)
  • Reduced resources needed for stone/wood buildings.
  • Increased decay time for wood buildings from 24 hours to 36 hours.
  • Reduced speed of mutants slightly.
  • Added some wooden decorations around the world.
  • Synced melee hit animation with weapon's attack interval.


This update was a bit smaller and faster than normal, but I wanted to fix this bug where items, lootboxes and backpacks disappeared from time to time. I hope all works fine now. Thanks for your feedback.
