Developer Notes
Due to a Unity contraint with the rpg framework editor, I changed how potion recipes are gained. I've added trainers to teach the party the recipes.
I've updated the regional maps with their locations. There are a total of 10 potion trainers spread around the realm. The existing recipe books will remain
as alternative to learn the novice level potions.


  • Fixed - Found lots of doors that may have been broken and not reported (from framework upgrade)
  • Fixed - Expert Herbalism trainer in Elderwood, Carrie Silverleaf, trains correctly, now
  • Fixed - Diamond Slash master rank's description has been updated to the correct version for that rank
  • Fixed - Fixed description for Master Plate skill
  • Fixed - Fixed description for Expert and Master chain armor skills



  • New - Potion recipe trainers have been added



  • Informational - Updated the textures in Harkness Castle. Should be brighter in there now with a bit of blue/purple hue

  • Fixed - Howling Jackel's innkeeper isn't so tight lipped with rumors anymore
  • Fixed - Master Needle Strike works - there were some very old requirements setting still present
  • Fixed - Stone to Flesh potions are now usable outside of battle as intended.



  • New - Spectres are no longer affected by disease damage



  • Informational - Updated the Druin Hills regional map with location of Master Shield and Expert Chain trainers
  • Informational - Added notice for no regional map when in Vargan's Tomb
  • Informational - Updated the text for Stone to Flesh scroll to indicate the target's level the scroll will affect

Developer Notes
Adjusted the player's climbing stair settings. Should be able to climb all stairs smoothly.
Added invisible walls to keep you from falling off the face of Farmoor where needed. I tried using natural barriers to prevent this. But, a few holes were found and reported.

Developer Notes
Shimmerscale interaction is now working properly. Forgot to adjust the interact distance on her due to her scale.

Tailwind speed buffs - These will be removed when moving into and out of a dungeon zone. You will need to recast the spell when you enter the new zone.
Sorry for inconvenience. The controller is showing the proper buffed speed (the actual game object you are controlling) in all of my debugging; but, I think
Unity (the game engine) is causing a desync. The effect is being calculated and applied; then, another function is causing the reset back to the base
movement speed. It's that other function that I can't find to see if I can sync things. So, my best course of action is to remove the effect, like I do
when travelling between overland zones which take "days" to travel. Again, sorry for this one.


  • Fixed - Shimmerscale can now be interacted with properly - had to increase activation range for her scale
  • Fixed - Expert Nature's Wrath will no longer freeze up the game
  • Fixed - Call of the Wild tomes check for appropriate skill and level now when using
  • Fixed - Doors to Granit Mines from Northern Westernlands are now fixed (broken from upgrade and missed)



  • Informational - WIll need to recast Tailwind whenever you move in and out of dungeons, now

Developer Notes
Harkness Castle and portions of Goblin Mines, torchlight should lighten the area a bit more. It takes a strong light to light up the area a bit
since this was intended to be dark.
Shimmerscale Lair treasure chests have been fixed. If you've already been through here and opened all the chests, you will need to
wait for the zone to reset (takes 2 in game years); or, you can send me your saved game file and I'll reset the zone for you.
It was reported that spell effect, like Tailwind, are being removed when entering dungeons though the icon remains in the buff window. Trying to figure
out what is going on as that is not intended. The effect should remain. Hope to have this figured out for the next update.


  • Fixed - Regrowth applies the HP regen each round as originally intended
  • Fixed - Master Smoulder tome teaches Master Smoulder as intended
  • Fixed - Firewall tomes are now working
  • Fixed - Torchlight, the actual lighting, should be visible in Harkness Castle and portions of Gobline Mines, now.
  • Fixed - Imorrand Slowblade, when training 4th slot character, gives the correct message if you don't have enough skill level
  • Fixed - Tower of Shadows zone loads properly, now
  • Fixed - Shimmerscale can now be interacted with (broken from upgrade and missed)
  • Fixed - treasure chests in Shimmerscale Lair have been fixed.
  • Fixed - Kryyak Omlet dialog should now exit properly and not require a reboot of the game to exit
  • Fixed - Blocking stairs in Ashund Forest



  • New - Added stack count to buff/debuff icons when stack is greater than 1



  • Informational - Updated the Torchlight spell - increased range of the light for the novice, expert, and master ranks. Added missing audio when casting
  • Informational - Updated some settings in Ashundforest zone to help performance. May need some more tweaking.

Developer Notes
Tiny update to fix greaves. Looks like I didn't set them to the proper skill in the requirements check; or, I did and
the settings didn't stick when I saved. They were set to look at chainmail instead of plate mail. Hoping this was just my stupidity and not a result
of the upgrade. Didn't see any others in my spot check.So, going with a duh moment - copy paste burns me
again.


  • Fixed - Greaves can now be equiped if you have plate skill and not chain
  • Fixed - Healing trainer in Druinport dialog. Says healing instead of nature
  • Fixed - Tome: Master Light Healing's description has been corrected



  • Informational - Added casting sound and effect to Tailwind
  • Informational - Expert Sword trainer, Rosh in Druinport, will no longer send you looking for a long desceased trainer -Draaghod in Druinport. He will now
    direct you to Ogrel Frostblade in the Dragonspine Mountains for Master Sword training

Several trainers have been fixed in this update. Stupid mistakes on my part when setting their training
configurations. Sorry about that. Added the Shimmerscale Lair map. Forgot to create one for the dungeon
Someone had mentioned the peasants not speaking about their region. I noticed that with the Kunari villagers.
I'll see why they are speaking out of there heads and try to get that fixed for the next update.

  • Fixed - Dreydir Kelnan, the Expert Detect trap trainer is fixed for training characters in slots 2-4

Developer Notes
Fixed a few bugs that were brought to my attention. Also, did some tweaking of the Fire magic's damage output.
A few melee abilities had some tweaks made to them as well.
I've updated the icons for the manuals for melee skills. Each weapon type now has a specific book icon to help identify them
in your inventory a little faster. This matches what I did with the spell tomes.


  • Fixed - Kalen's Pass to Murkwater Swamp exit is working again
  • Fixed - Kunissa Landon, Master Arcane Magic trainer - when training is completed, states Master Arcane magic instead of Mind magic
  • Fixed - Radfire Olafir, Expert haggle trainer - if character in 4th slot trains, no longer freezes



  • Informational - The Smuggler's Den, in Druinport, has been revamped.
  • Informational - Executioner, Axe Master ability, has been altered. The chance for execution blow (insta-kill) has been lowered
  • Informational - Fire magic damage spells have had their damage formulas revamped. The original damage formula was just way to overpowered
  • Informational - Melee manuals icons have been updated. They are separated by weapon type much like the spell tomes.
  • Informational - The unarmed ability - Heart Stopper - has had the chance of stopping opponent's hear (insta-kill) lowered. Original was overpowered.

Just a small update to fix a blocked entrance and the door to the Tower of Shadows


  • Fixed - The enterance to Tower of Shadows is working again. Missed that one post-upgrade
  • Fixed - The exit from Tamaras Desert to Kalen's Pass is working correctly, now.



  • Informational - The amulet required to enter the Tower of Shadows has been properly named

Developer Notes
Another round of fixes that were reported. Mostly as a result of the upgrade a few months ago. I updated the regional map to Ashund Forest.
I hope the numbers are more legible, now.

Higher ranked gate spells are working now. If they break again, I'll remove the higher ranks and leave them at one rank with an
adjustment to their casting cost.


  • Fixed - The doors in Ravenshire (ashund forest) should be working again.
  • Fixed - Expert Air Magic Trainer in Kunari Plain village - door is working again



  • Informational - Gate spells of higher rank should be working this update.
  • Informational - Tried to make the building numbers on the Ashund Forest regional map a little more legible when you zoom in
