The Linux/SteamOS build is now uploaded and out of the beta branch. Steam may give you two options when loading the game, if it does you should select the second option: "Life Not Supported LINUX". If you have any issues with this version please leave details in the 'Linux Version' sticky post in the forums, or let me know in the discord. If you encounter any in-game issues and bugs, using the F8 debug reporter is probably the most useful way to let me know as it'll include the log files and a screenshot of the problem.
Also, I'm currently working on the ship movement rework and the new docking system which will be ready for the next update (finally). As well as some new things to build. This will allow you to have one larger home base whilst using smaller (and faster) ships for expeditions.
The wiki is now also complete enough to be usable so if you want to learn more about the game or require a walkthrough you can visit LNS.fandom.com. If you've been here a while, please consider contributing to the wiki also.
As always, thank you for playing my game! Sam :)
Patch 0.5.0.92
This update changes the following: - Adds a new door blueprint (We'll see how this blueprint is received then start working on other new doors) - Adds a new interface to the unlock computers (Hopefully will reduce confusion that unlocking things is not an error) - You can now remove the solar panels from relay ships - UI fixed in main menu where the (?) button would overlap with the CO-OP button on some resolutions. - High powered torch is no longer on before blueprint is completed - Added a way to get advanced electricals without crafting - Fixed scrolling in the ingame controls menu, you can now get to the bottom - Added a fix for co-op players resetting upon relogging - Added better error tracking around the electrical tool glitch, so should be able to fix it soon
This is the last 'content' update for 2023, I'll still be around to fix any bugs here and there during the festive season and be here to answer any questions.
The best places to have a back-and-forth discussion about things are Discord & the Steam forums. If you encounter any bugs, the best place to report them is with the F8 tool, as it'll send me the log files :)
