0.5 Update: The beginning of the Beta belt

Howdy Astronauts!

Today's content update (0.5) is released and changes the following:

- Beta belt now exists! Explore the dusty biomes and search for the relay ships.
- Computer interfaces. No more basic blue screened computers, each unlock comes with it's own text in the computer console.
- 4 New biomes
- 1 New structure
- 4 New recipes
- 5 New blueprints
- 5 New Items
- Added better progression tracking & handling
- Fixed bug where nets deleted asteroids
- Fixed visual bug with glass doors ignoring dust particles
- Fixed co-op soft locks
- Fixed other minor bugs

Once the current content within this new belt has been out for a little bit and we are all happy with it, I can start work on the blueprints, recipes and structure that come next. This will further flesh out the new belt. These updates will be structured the same as the 0.4.X updates with periodic improvements and additions until beta belt is completed fully.

Up next:
- Ship docking (attach smaller ships to your main ship to aid in exploration)
- Ship controls rework
- Remote blueprint control via remote control levers and sensors
- Adding a proper screen to the beta belt console
- New structures

As always, thank you for playing my game! I'm going to take this week or so to further improve upon the new areas and blueprints. Also, I'll be fixing any bugs and issues that come up so please use F8 to report anything and I'll try and get it sorted asap.

Sam :)

P.S I have a small list of known (visual) issues from today build, so expect a small update tomorrow.

This patch changes the following:
- Adds the Organic Storage blueprint. You can finally store potatoes & flowers!
- Fixes issues relating to the new Liquid Storage blueprint.
- Fixes Co-op soft lock in tutorial.

Patch 0.4.3.74

This patch changes the following:
- Optimises and rebalances the dust storm

0.4.3 Update: New Biome, Wreckage, Disaster, Blueprint, Popups & Death rework

Howdy Astronauts!

Today's content update (0.4.3) is released and changes the following:
- Adds a new biome "Obliteration" that can spawn in the Alpha belt. It comes in two sub-variants - "sparse" and "dense" and contains large debris that be crowbarred to gather large quantities of scrap.
- Wreckages are now biome dependant. The previous 3 wreckages can be found in the default "Scraplands" biome, with a new wreckage introduced specifically for Obliteration.
- New Biome generation system, biomes now weave into each other. This addition will become more apparent and useful with the 0.5 update coming in November.
- Adds a new disaster! The "Dust Storm" will distrupt beacon signals as well as violently move ships around. Remember to stay tethered, or you could get lost.
- Reworked how death works. Instead of respawning near-ish to your ship, you now spawn in a nearby cyrogenics pod as a new survivor. You must follow the pings of the previous attempt to recover their items. You also gain the "Cryo-metabolism" status effect for several minutes - freezing your hunger and thirst depletion as you thaw.
- Added a liquid container blueprint. Can store up to 5 portions of liquid (including hydroponic solution). This blueprint interacts with the "shift-click" shortcuts feature that all other storage blueprints use.
- Adds new Ice debris variants.
- Adds a new info popup system. This will aid newer players when at low o2, or unsure why they are on fire.
- Added a backup feature, you now have automatic backups for the most recent 6 play sessions per save.
- Fixed space pirate achievement to not trigger on tutorial ships.
- Fixed bug where placing a blueprint whilst dying broke the UI.
- Increased % of words translated.
- Fixed crossbar crosshair freezing mid animation if held item was switched.
- Fixed ships "yeeting" when colliding into tutorial ships.
- Optimised ship loading and saving - no more freezing when a new ship spawns!
- Fixed bug where glass would only show in one direction.
- Fixed bug where refilling hydroponics would only allow for 1 more growth.
- You can now click the countdown in the main menu to open up the roadmap.
- Improved tutorial & added contingencies for players ignoring the tutorial.
- Fixed various soft-locking bugs.
- Fixed other minor bugs (which I've forgotten to write down).

As always, thank you for playing my game! I'm going to take this week to further improve the biome generation and fix any issues that you may find. Please use F8 to report any problems and I'll try and get it sorted asap.

Next up: Update 0.5 which will contain a ship movement overhaul, ship docking, and most importantly...
...a brand new belt to explore!

~ Sam :)

Patch 0.4.2.66

This patch changes the following:
- Adds the language of Catalan to Life Not Supported
- Added translate tool-based translation to any phrase without a human-written translation (This is very important udring Early Access as I add content faster than I can gather translations)

0.4.2 Update: New Tutorial

Howdy Astronauts!

Today's content update (0.4.2) is released and changes the following:

- Adds a new tutorial system to help new players understand what LNS is all about!
- Overhauls the duct tape building menu by splitting it into tabs, no more long scrolling :)
- Shift Clicking is now a thing! You can use this to quickly organise your inventory, quickly fill/take items from storage, or even instantly complete blueprints.
- Fixed issue with refresh rate not saving
- Fixed issue with some storage blueprints clipping through the floor
- Fixed several issues surrounding corspe looting
- Air tank thrusters now show how much is left in the tank
- Items are now taken out of your inventory before the hotbar, meaning less reorganising when using air tanks in blueprints for example.
- Fixed a bunch of other less notable bugs

As always, thank you for playing my game! I'm going to take this week to further improve upon the new tutorial, please use F8 to report anything with this new tutorial and I'll try and get it sorted asap.

Once the tutorial has been out for a little bit and we are all happy with it, I can start work on the beta belt and all the new content that comes with it.
