The paid version will allow you to control multiple units at the same time. It's now functional, and just needs a few improvements. That's not really enough to justify a whole expansion pack/DLC, so I'll think about adding two story chapters there.

LK v3.08 Fixes and Cleanup. Preparing game for expansion content.
The gameplay engine was reworked to prepare for expansion pack content. This broke a lot of things; I fixed everything I could find, but there may be more issues.
Gameplay:
Burner and Argent's kunai fixed crashing the game

"Selected unit sprite" is now animated
Selected Unit UI sprites now only show when turn state is ready

The GUI will continue to improve, and gameplay will focus on increasing the need for careful use of abilities to avoid being able to win missions without a plan. Menus will also be improved to be clearer to first time users.
There are no current plans to add more story missions, but the story will be improved, and possibly added to with a new way to delivery story outside of missions and cutscenes.
