The popular okey card game returns from 20/04/2018 14:00 CEST until 02/05/2018 14:00 CEST. Hunt down monsters, loot their okey cards and put together a winning set!
You can find a detailed guide to the game in the FAQ:
Defeat monsters to earn cards. As soon as you've collected and stacked together 24 Okey Cards, you'll automatically receive an Okey Card Set and can play a game. The aim of the game is to make combinations of sets and runs.
A set consists of three cards with the same number (e.g. 7, 7, 7). The lower the number on the cards, the fewer points you'll earn for the set.
A run consists of at least three consecutive cards (e.g. 6, 7, 8). The lower the number on the cards, the fewer points you'll earn for the set. Runs in the same color will earn more points than multicolored runs.
Game Instructions
1. Left-click on the deck to reveal the first 5 cards.
2. Earn points by selecting 3 cards. (NOTE: Left-click = select card, right-click = permanently discard card)
3. The more points you earn by the end of the game, the better your prize.
Hints
1) You can pause your game at any time by pressing ESC. Changing map or teleporting will end the current game!
2) Once discarded, cards cannot be restored, so think carefully before deciding!
3) Canceled games will NOT be refunded! Choose where you want to play your game wisely.

Dear players,
The time has come, on the 24.04.18, we are going to merge all of the EN servers into one.
The merge process will start at 8:00 AM CEST.
The new server is going to be called "Universalis".
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the merge, it will take several days to complete, that means that the game will be unavailable during this time.

Boss Reaper Event *Easter Edition*
You need a break from searching for eggs? Then go boss hunting instead! Boss monsters will appear in the neutral areas Orc Valley, Ice Land, Fireland and Desert. What do you have to do? Hit them – hard!
Event duration: 28/03/2018 14:00 CEST - 10/04/2018 14:00 CEST
Every hit by a character over level 30 counts and causes a damage point. Each character qualifies for the daily reward starting from their first counted hit. But the character is only eligible for it if they are also there when the boss dies. In order to make it a challenge for you, your attack speed can be reduced by 20% while attacking the boss monster. This debuff will be displayed in the upper left of the window. If you're present when the boss monster dies and you have achieved at least one counted hit, you'll have a chance at a Mystery Box and also get a 20% EXP buff for 30 minutes. This is also visible in the buff list in the upper left. If you leave the area or log out of the game before the boss monster dies, your counter will be reset. In that case, you won't get a daily reward.
What's the point of the hit counter? Once you've defeated the boss monster, you can either go to the NPC Mr B. in the village or click the event button next to the minimap and pick up one of the following chests:
<*>For 500 counted hits you get a Bronze Boss Reaper Chest.
<*>For 1000 counted hits you get a Silver Boss Reaper Chest.
<*>For 2000 counted hits you get a Golden Boss Reaper Chest.
And you can redeem your points even after the event ends. But not while you're on the go – you'll need to see Mr B. personally. He will wait for you at his location a bit longer. And of course, any unused points will expire.
The daily reward counter will be reset at midnight. Rewards that are not picked up will expire then – no exceptions. If the boss monster is killed and you landed at least one valid hit, you can click on the event button next to the minimap and pick up your daily reward.

Easter Metins and Bouncy Bunny Sighted!
Dear players!
On your eggs, get set, yolk! Metin2’s colourful Easter Event gets under way starting 23rd March. The Easter Bunny is waiting with a basket full of rewards, while the towns are decked out in festive banners!
Here’s what’s in store:
• Fancy spending your Easter hunting for eggs and munching on chocolate bunnies? No chance! The monsters were way faster at finding the eggs and have already snapped them all up. Hunt them down, retrieve those tasty treats and swap them for your well deserved rewards from the Easter Bunny.
• Make scrambled eggs out of Easter Metins and with any luck you might find a valuable Magic Egg inside. This can be opened three times and contains such treasures as Enchant Item, magic Pearls and rare Blue Dragon Beans.
Available for a limited time in the item shop:
• Grab a feisty little helper for your egg hunt. Frank a.k.a. Bun-Bun grants +15% strength against monsters, increases experience gain by 50% and is 100% uncuddly.
• For expeditions into wonderland we recommend the speedy White Rabbit or the mythical Moon Bunny. Both mounts grant you +15% strength against monsters and carry you through your adventures with +20 movement speed.
• Slip into a Sungura costume and feel like a character from a One Thousand and One Nights. The premium version even grants you up to 3 random bonuses.

Change Log 18.1
Dear players,
Release 18.1 not only sees Easter bunnies hopping around in Metin2, but also introduces a mailing system and the DS set effect. Read up on everything to expect in our change log:
New
Mailing System
With the mailing system you can now exchange messages, items, Yang and Won with other players. You gain access to this system via the Mailbox NPC in the villages. You can also pick up a Mobile Mailbox in the item shop, leaving you untethered from the NPC and free to access your messages wherever you are.
Easter: New Mounts and Costumes
For expeditions into wonderland we recommend the speedy White Rabbit or the mythical Moon Bunny. Both mounts grant you +15% strength against monsters and carry you through your adventures with +20 movement speed.
Slip into a Sungura costume and feel like a character from a One Thousand and One Nights. The premium version even grants you up to 3 random bonuses.
Set Effect for Dragon Stones
Create a set of six Dragon Stones of the same grade and receive a set effect bonus. This applies to rare, antique and legendary stones, but not rough or cut.
DSS Interface Shortcut
In future, you can quickly summon up the DSS window with the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C (DSS Sky) and CTRL+V (DSS Earth).
Changes
Login window: The login window has been adjusted to make room for longer names and terms.
Character interface: The window has been changed to make bonus descriptions more legible.
Leaders’ Notes: Two additional bosses – the Ochao Lord and Strong Ochao Lord – have been added to the ‘Leaders' Notes’ quest.
Guild bank NPC: In order to access the guild bank system, you must now talk to the Guardian of your own kingdom.
As a further balancing measure, the Bleeding Attack bonus has been adjusted for all classes. Its application and the total damage it causes is now dependent on the level of the attacking character.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an error which prevented hairstyles from being unequipped after changing gender.
Fixed an error which prevented certain map names from appearing.
Fixed an error which allowed players to use the Village Travel Ticket in all maps.
Fixed an error which allowed the Potion of Wisdom to be deactivated using the storeroom.
Introduced a level limit to the group search.
Fixed an error which allowed guild skills to be applied outside of the field guild war.
Fixed an error which allowed Dragon Stones to be removed by double-clicking them while the Time Elixir is in use.
Fixed an error which allowed players to delete a married character.
Fixed an error which prevented the DSS activation button from working correctly.
Νote: The Mailing system & guild bank feature will be activated separately in an upcoming maintenance - we will inform you on this thread about the activation later on.

Warm Ears: It may be cold but with the right headgear you can just grin and bear it. These unique animal hats in the item shop are real head-turners and the premium version will provide you with at least one random bonus.
