v0.83 Patch Notes

New:

  • Added the volcano dungeon. Enemies are stronger and apply lots of burn. Maps are winding paths upwards with occasional campsites.


Bugs:

  • Fixed a crash caused by ending a battle while the kitsune was transformed
  • Fixed some event card pixels
  • Fixed a crash caused by the bandit camp event
  • A transformed kitsune will now show up in attack animations
  • Boar amulet name has been changed to boar pendent to match steam achievements text
  • "Can I offer you an egg?" achievement will now trigger when the caster holds the artifacts as opposed to the target.
  • "Camping Trip" achievement will now trigger when the target girl has a sleeping bag equipped, as opposed to the rock helmet.
  • The tundra map will no longer show the wrong purchase price

  • Slime Helmet and Rock Helmet will now properly reduce blunt/pierce
  • Multi hit skills will no longer apply on hit effects to the front enemy multiple times
  • The werewolf punch animation will no longer use an incorrect tail sprite


QoL:

  • Updated the boss golem sprites
  • Sandstorm and cave in will now target any enemy


Balance:

  • Damage calculation adjusted to randomly be +/-5% rather than +/- 2 base damage.
  • Reduced critical hit damage multiplier from X2 to X1.5.
  • Slimes create more orbs with the condense slime skill

v0.82 Patch Notes

New:

  • Added golems. Regardless of personality, they like rocks.


Bugs:

  • Fixed a crash activated at the end of battle when a transformed monster girl was carrying purple stone (Old adrenaline artifact index)
  • Mushroom girl is now immune to poison
  • Mushroom girl skills are now in the correct cast zones

  • Increased vampire lifespan

v0.81 Patch Notes

New:

  • Added the Mushroom species. They are a poison spreading support species. They like sticks and leaves regardless of personality.


QoL:

  • Added quit to main menu and quit to desktop to pause menu
  • Adjusted eye sprites so they don't look "wide"


Bugs:

  • Fixed a swapping crash caused by swapping to a non existent position
  • Fixed an error on floor 25 of the swamp
  • fixed typos in the black dragon intro
  • polar bear is now size 2
  • base camp event will no longer grant artifacts
  • white dragon can no longer have decimal values for stats
  • Changed white dragon back legs so they don't blend in with background

v0.80 Patch Notes

New:
Added the Tundra dungeon. The tundra has large open maps with no campfires. Remember to bring plenty of firewood.
Nearly everything will slow down your team in the tundra, so handwarmers and high dodge will help you avoid criticals.


QoL:

  • Updated the werewolf sprite to a higher resolution
  • Renamed Slush Slap to Snow Strike
  • Updated Map colors for the cave and swamp
  • Added a moth interaction with the will-o-wisp
  • Enemies and monster girls in the skill animation screen are slightly smaller so they don't pop out of the screen and cover up numbers
  • Acid Vomit and burn breath animations will now scale with enemy size


Bugs:

  • Fixed visual issues with armor on the arachne
  • Fixed choker visual bugs during attack animations
  • Fixed scarf visual bugs during attack animations
  • Fixed Rose perfume not healing. It will now heal 10% max hp when you swap.

  • Fixed another werewolf crash if they were alone when they transformed

  • Selling a common artifact at the stall event will now give you gold
  • Fixed a crash if the monster girl was alone and charmed
  • Clearing the jungle dungeon will now always prompt the jungle complete cutscene


Balance:

  • Sunscreen equipment effect has been changed to generate a yellow orb every turn
  • Fur Boots equipment effect has been changed to generate a white orb every turn
  • Rubber Boots equipment effect has been changed to generate a blue orb every turn
  • Earplugs equipment effect has been changed to reduce all negative status effects recieved by 1.
  • Fuzzy Socks equipment effect has been changed to start battle with 1 buffer
  • Megaphone equipment effect has been changed to give Frenzy and Focus when targeting an ally
  • Ice Skates equipment effect has been changed to inflict Bleed to a random enemy whenever the holder swaps
  • Windchimes equipment effect has been changed to increase the damage of Elemental attacks
  • Enemies that are immune to poison only will now also resist venom type skills
  • Snails will now use bubble burst instead of slush slap
  • Snails can now use condense slime and generates grey orbs
  • Girls can now avoid the crocodile event if they have high dodge.

v0.79 Patch Notes

New:

  • Added new armor and accessories.
  • Armor such as pauldrons and cuirasses can be purchased from the shop after obtaining the Smithy 1 upgrade.
  • New neck accessories like scarves can be purchased right away.


Bugs:

  • Fixed an issue where if you used your last consumable in a dungeon the consumable menu would be invisible.

Patch Notes v0.76

New:

  • Added the swamp dungeon
  • The swamp dungeon focuses on disease and poison. Maps will be large and winding.
  • Enemies will spread weak and poison, heal frequently, and bring in reinforcements. Campfires will be more frequent to offset the extra traveling and increase in status ailments. It is recommended to bring a team that hits hard and fast. Enemies have low strength and accuracy but do well in extended battles.
  • Venom slimes. This purple variant will focus on poison rather than healing
  • Skeletons. These animated skeletons can call in reinforcements and rebuild themselves. They can also give themselves Avoid by raising their shield
  • Snails. Giant snails focus on armor and slowing down your team.
  • Zombies. Slow and inaccurate, zombies will spread poison and weak. They will also remove armor with their acid breath.
  • Zombie animals. Similar to their normal variants, but they can now poison and weaken your team
  • Drakes. Dedicated hounds of reptians with similar move sets to their masters.
  • Mushrooms. Extremally low health targets that should be removed quickly. Depending on the type, they can inflict massive amounts of poison or heal their team
  • Flies and Mosquitos. Unlike other enemies, they do not have a cooldown on how frequently they can bring in allies. Thankfully they have low health.
  • Truffles. Giant humanoid mushroom mini-bosses that will shower your team with hard hitting charge punches
  • Toads. Like their frog cousins but slower and bulkier. They like to shuffle your team and stun with belly flops.
  • Some events can now give consumables.
  • Enemies will now use avoid, charm, and redirect skills.


Bugs:

  • Fixed a visual error caused by the sobbing skill
  • Acid vomit no longer removes focus stacks equal to owned armor stacks
  • Fixed a display bug in the shop tutorial
  • Fixed a display bug during the new skill tutorial
  • Fixed a pounce draw error
  • Fixed a typo in green statue
  • If an artifact gives enemies burn at the start of a turn, it will no longer deal burn damage to the back slot
  • Hives will now properly spawn hornets
  • Acid vomit will now properly show animations
  • Tail Whip now has sound
  • Rage totem no longer shows if the holder has no frenzy


QoL:

  • You no longer exit the consumable menu when using a consumable, excluding maps and firewood
  • The first dungeon will now be the cave dungeon. The primary motivation is its bosses are not immune to most statuses. This encourages building accuracy and allows players to experiment with status teams early. Also the mile stone event can help new players unable to get to the bosses.
  • The second dungeon will now be the ruins dungeon.
  • Updated jungle map colors to increase contrast


Balance:

  • The witchdoctor combat ai has been rewritten to use totems and redirects. Either quickly kill its totems or use aoe attacks to win this fight.
  • Pipe smoke no longer consumes a purple orb to restore energy
  • Removed damage cap
  • Acid vomit no longer removes armor. Instead it now inflicts broken and poison based on the current floor tier
  • Belly flop will now stun
  • Slightly increased the number of status stacks inflicted by enemy attacks at higher levels
  • Added camps to floor 2 of the cave
  • Removed black bears from tier 1 of the cave
  • Enemies will now only lose 1 stack of avoid and redirect per turn
  • The mile stone cavern event will now grant milestones based on tier
  • Howl now gives more focus to wolves.
  • Rage totem increases frenzy damage by an additional 5%

v0.75 Patch Notes

  • Fixed a crash caused when using a stun skill and the user was the last target of the previous round.
  • Fixed "black death" achievement not triggering

Bugs:

  • Lovebug will now properly give charmed when triggered
  • Meditation Bowl will only activate if energy restored is greater than 0
  • Artifacts that activate when the holder is hit will now trigger other artifacts
  • If equipment nullifies an event, the event dialogue will now show the correct equipment name
  • Beating heart will now heal even if the holder is at max health
  • Fixed some jitter in the moth and bee wing animations


Balance:

  • Vampire's Sanguine Bolt will now generate a red orb and scale with total red orbs instead of healing.
