v0.73 Patch Notes

Bugs:

  • If an npc activates a cutscene after talking, it no longer reloads the week
  • 2 of hearts will now activate when inflicting charm

v0.72 Patch Notes

New:

  • Every station in town can now be upgraded up to 3 times. Upgrades include faster stat gains, less energy use, and adding new items to the shop.
  • Added business owner npcs to town. These npcs have hidden trust values that increase when you talk to them or have girls work at their business. When they reach certain trust levels, they unlock upgrades.
  • Added a trading npc that will sell unique items during a specific time of year
  • Added a graveyard to town that displays the stats of past girls and when the left.
  • Added year display to the save slot menus
  • Reworked shop menu to be sightly easier to understand and to allow simultaneous selling and buying


Bugs:

  • Fixed ear placement on the dragon species during certain battle poses
  • Failing the strength check for the boulder event will no longer show a gold pouch success dialogue
  • White overflow no longer removes avoid from monster girls
  • Finding a milestone in tier 4 or tier 3 from the crystal event no longer gives you an extra black pyramid
  • Vampires will now fly over the spike pit event
  • Gold armor will now reduce 1% damage for every 5 gold collected
  • Nickel sock will now increase strength by 1 for every 5 gold collected
  • Fixed reed reflections in the main menu
  • Fixed a typo in love bug
  • Lovebug will now give 1 extra charmed stack when activated so enemies still have one after their turn is over
  • Lead bar will no longer give focus if a multi attack misses the holder
  • Blood goblet will no longer show Charcoal activating when inflicting bleed

Balance:

  • All base equipment prices reduced 75%
  • Reduced upgrade costs for new maps, extra girl slots, and extra action slots
  • Reduced base clothing cost by 50%
  • Certain gifts will now only be available if you upgrade certain training stations.
  • Certain equipment will now only be available if you upgrade certain training stations.
  • Certain equipment will now only be available to purchase from the mysterious trader
  • Base motivation and energy losses from training have been adjusted.
  • Increased the chance to find cursed artifacts.

Bugs:

  • Changed Punch text to indicate it only inflicts broken on crit.
  • Fixed an overflow animation crash
  • Changed Death grip to indicate the next attack is a guaranteed crit.
  • Death grip will now proc on-hit effects
  • The crit guarantee from eagle eyes, eye drops, and death grip will now go away when a battle ends

Balance:

  • Mile stones now give trust (5*milestone size). They are now the best way to increase trust quickly.
  • Reduced Blood Drain damage since it can be reliably procced with death grip
  • Slightly reduced alraune end of turn heal from 10% max hp to 7% max hp.
  • Energy drain per travel tick changed from 2 to 1 (reverted from artifact rework patch)
  • Reduced the base damage of fists of fury from 10 to 5 now that gaining multiple stacks of frenzy is notably easier
  • Increased Dragon passive strength and defense scaling (accuracy and dodge scaling untouched)

  • Fluid Drain healing has been slightly reduced at earlier levels
  • Heal gel now heals for more

  • When loading a monster girl, she will no longer learn skills she shouldn't know yet.

  • Changed text of lightning to indicate it stuns on crit.

  • Death dialogue will now be decided based on trust rather than milestones.
  • Reduced the cost of consumables
  • reduced dodge/accuracy gold scaling of the dragon passive
  • Skip turn now gives 10 instead of 5 energy.
  • Reduced gold earned from lead bar
  • Frog ring now gives more buffer
  • Bleed, Poison, and Burn are no longer blocked by armor
  • Buffer no longer blocks helpful statuses
  • Green overflow has been buffed to be in line with other healing skills
  • Slime girls will now slow attackers if hit in the Front position

v0.68 Patch Notes

New:
Added the Lifeforce system. It is enabled by default, but can be disabled/enabled at any time in the options menu.

When a monster girl is summoned, they start with anywhere from 2-5 years of lifeforce, depending on their species.
Every week, that lifeforce ticks down.
When lifeforce hits zero, the monster girl will "die". For now the death is permanent, but I may add reincarnation/memory mechanics in the future if players want it.
If a monster girl faints in battle, she loses 10% of her max lifeforce.
Girls can no longer be revived in the dungeon.
You can replenish lifeforce by giving girls mile stones. Bigger stones restore more lifeforce.
You can now give girls unlimited mile stones, and there are no longer prerequisites to give them. If you want, you can give a new girl a level 3 milestone to immediately allow her to progress to level 99.
Sealed girls will not lose lifeforce.
Girls no longer learn skills through levels. They learn skills through increasing trust. Every 15 trust, a girl learns a new skill.
Story has been modified to discuss lifeforce.
Training efficiency will decrease as lifeforce decreases. Earned stats will begin to decrease when a girl is below 50% max lifeforce.
Tiers 1-3 Bosses will now only drop 1 mile stone.
Tier 4 Bosses will drop 2 mile stones.

This system was requested by a portion of the player base. After examining the benefits, I agreed with their assessment.

It encourages:


  • Carefully planning weekly activities.
  • Using gifts to train longer and unlock skills.
  • Avoiding fainting in the dungeon.
  • Trying out new teams.
  • Optimizing mile stone allocation.


I understand that some players don't like the system, which is why it can be turned off whenever you want.

If the lifeforce system is turned off:


  • Lifeforce will not tick down every week.
  • Lifeforce will not be lost if a girl faints.
  • Death events will not trigger, even if a girl has 0 lifeforce.
  • Mile stones will still increase lifeforce.
  • Lifeforce will still impact training efficiency.


Bugs:
Fixed "What does the fox say" achievement triggering "nothing escapes my web" achievement
"I alone" achievement will now activate if you have already beaten the final boss of a dungeon
"Pollinator" achievement will now trigger on alraunes instead of every other breed
Rewrote some old tutorials that didn't make sense after the artifact update.
Punch is no longer water type.

Balance:
Dungeon passives such as the moth's "towards light" will no longer trigger if that monster girl has 0 hp.

v0.67 Patch Notes

Bugs:
Fixed outfit colors leaking into other outfits when changing clothes the week after a girl was summoned
Fixed Mousetrap not activating when the holder is not using a skill
Fixed "Nothing Escapes My Web" Achievement failing to activate
Fixed the game sometimes appearing as "Spacewar" on Steam due to a Gamemaker update to the appid config.


Balance:
Increased Holy Scripture damage so it is more obvious they are stacking
