Exclusive Kickstarter backer content sharing period: Beta Access Players (those who backed the Steam Beta Access Pack and higher tiers) can start streaming and sharing any content, such as screenshots, NPC quotes or gifting preferences, etc. from their Beta branch build later in just a few hours!
Digital Starter Pack & Early Bird tiers: please wait until Early Access starts to share content. This is the time your keys were initially intended to be sent out. Please maintain the NDA until May 26.
The NDA will lift on May 11, 12 am PST/May 11, 3 am EST/May 11, 7 am UTC, 2022. All Full Beta players will be free to share screenshots, videos, streamings, and all other lovely content you made after this time! If you’re a Beta player who’s a streamer, email your channel url and expected Sandrock livestream schedule (if any) to sandrock_ks@pathea.net so we can try to help promote your Sandrock streams!
Important: there will be a small update for just this Beta version later today, so we suggest you use this new build to share content with the most polish.
Content from any build version can be shared, even video and screenshots taken during the NDA period. If showing content from older versions of singleplayer or any multiplayer build, please clearly state somewhere in your video/description/etc. that the shown content is from an early version of a game that is still being improved and updated. During this exclusive content sharing period, we'd appreciate if you could encourage others to wishlist Sandrock so they get alerted as soon as it's available!

‘’Let us go and spread Light! And... perhaps have a bit of fun in the process.’’ ― Miguel Miguel trained in Meidi's minister program together with Matilda, then followed her to Sandrock. He is very clever and often puts forward many constructive suggestions for the church and the management of Sandrock.
“A good friend. Why, thank you! I get that a lot, mostly from ladies.” ― Burgess Burgess is very honest. He abides by all the orders and rules he receives. As a member of the church, he is in charge of the water tower. He is conscientious and loyal, if a little uptight.
“So if you don't see me, go ahead and say, ‘Thanks, Pen!’ as loud as you can! If I hear you, I'll make sure to shout back.” ― Pen Pen is the self-proclaimed Protector of Sandrock. He is good at protecting people and fighting monsters. Not everyone likes his grandiose style. Sometimes he cares too much about appearances and makes some unreasonable remarks.
“Is there anything else you wanted? I still have some energy, I'll get it for you!” ― Venti Venti is an employee of Eufaula Salvage, quite enthused to assist Amirah in gathering clay.
“To stay safe here, do two things: practice combat and be vigilant of danger.” ― Catori Catori divorced her unsupportive husband and left her son with her Ma in Atara to come to Sandrock. She wants to build a large entertainment complex out in the desert and fancies herself an entrepreneur. Some people find her dedication strange.
That’s not all we’ll add. There are more lovely and unique characters waiting to meet you, including some people you might’ve met in the Story Demo or in the Tumbleweed Standard’s Lonely Hearts Coterie column! Your friendly rival Mi-an, quiet doctor Fang, eccentric researcher Qi, friendly saloon owner Owen, feisty rancher Elsie, and so on.
And as for your boss Yan… Buddy-buddy is as far as you’ll get with him - he’s already in love with that sweet, sweet money.

Meet us at PAX East with our dear publishing partner, PM Studios, who helped us make a play area just for Sandrockers. This time we’re bringing a Beta Access version, prettier and with more content than the 2021 demo, for you to try out!
