Todays update includes new built in worlds, an aim assist setting, fixes and bridges. Full thread >>here<<
Bridges
There's now a new tab in the editor, bridges! Click the icon to access 7 new bridge pieces, ranging from simple planks for walkways to a big suspension bridge. Like our other tabs, this one will continue to grow with content updates.
As well as spanning across terrain, they also stack like other objects, so they can be used to create floating walkways by linking them off other objects.
Combat update
Aim Assist has been added to the settings and is on by default. Hit F11 to turn off. This is great for newer users, or for those who like to run freely but want the benefits of locking on, aim assist will try and lock-on every time you swing your weapon. The lock lasts as long as the swing.
New games added into the main portal
The top 3 worlds from our world building competition have been added into the main 'MyWorlds' portal. As a reminder they are,
Arpee Geez by Aaron Steinmetz ORDER - DISOBEDIENCE - TURMOIL by Windebieste Farmer Fredrick's Feilds of Doom by Maxim Bowes
They are a great example of what can be done in MyWorld, and each offer a unique experience. If you haven't already played them via the workshop, then now is the time to jump through MyWorlds portal and get adventuring!
Next Week
We've got some rather awesome multi level buildings in the works and Ravey will be continuing working on the combat, with questing not far behind. See you next week!
Happy building! :GoblinBomber:

Character Creator!
Character Creator gains some friendly faces
Thanks everyone for the feedback on last weeks release of the enemy creator (now named the Character Creator) ːsteamhappyː . We've taken a lot of the suggestions on board, today's update brings you the following additions.
Full update thread >here<
NPC's now in the Character Creator
NPC support! The Character Creator has now opened up to let you create friendly NPC's. Just select NPC as the behaviour type. When saved they will in the same editor tab as your enemies, ready to give you a quest or stroll around the town.
Custom enemies can be selected as a kill objective for your quests now too!
Painting and editing previous creations
Paint now only effects the piece you are painting on and weapons can now be coloured. Bring on the shiny pink swords of doom! Like limbs, weapons can now be hidden.
One of the most requested additions is the ability to load and edit previously made characters. A new button on the left panel has been added to do just that, give 'load' a click to bring up a list of all your previously made characters.
Further additions are proper undo support (default Z).Walk and run animations now increase / decrease in speed when increasing the overall scale.
To help create more friendly looking NPCs, 20 new parts have been added to the library... Some not so friendly parts have also gone in, looking at you double headed ogre!
It's been really inspiring to see what characters you've been coming up. Below is a selection of our favourites, if you'd like to join in and share your creations, add a screenshot or two >>here<<

Craft your own enemies out of a wide selection of body parts, ranging from a pumpkin head to a giant eyeball body!
There's a wide library to choose from, like the editor it will be added to as we continue to update MyWorld.

5 tracks can be added into a world, plus a separate slot for boss encounters. There are 30 tracks to choose from, ranging from fast tempo action tracks to eerie graveyard tunes. Existing themes have their music chosen by default.
Simply click the slot to preview and select a track. Worlds will cycle through the list in order. The track 'silence' can be used for music breaks.
Click the music chooser button (top right, bottom button in edit mode) to access this new feature.
Happy creating!
Dev update - Steam trading cards and achievements!
Steam trading cards
Update thread >>HERE<< This weeks update is a little different, bringing you achievements and trading cards.
Cards can be collected by playing MyWorld. They can be traded, crafted into badges and steam chat emoticons. MyWorld steam profile backgrounds can also be unlocked!
Achievements
We've added 31 achievements ranging from building your first world to killing 1000 enemies! Unfortunately for the users who've been playing since our early access launch, the kills / achievement progress etc wont be counted towards the achievements. Sorry about that!
Dev Update
This build also has a fix for the lock-on issues some users have been having whilst close to enemies.
Work continues on the enemy creator and is going well. Next week, after quite a few requests we'll also be revisiting music in MyWorld. Have a great weekend everyone.
P.s There's a new theme too! 'Purple sunset'. Now added into the theme list.
MyWorld has levelled up and is now 64bit rather than 32bit! This should give an overall performance boost during your adventures.
Editor improvements
Placing multiple objects into your world is now much quicker, whilst holding shift the new object now retains the previous placed objects rotation. Also when you press shift+r, it now adds 90' onto the current rotation angle.
New Boss
Today we are releasing our first new boss since release. He's the leader of the orc tribe. All hail the Orc Chieftain!
The most aggressive boss we have in so far. He hits so hard the ground will rupture beneath your feet. You'll need to time your rolls carefully and pick the best openings for attacks to take him down.
Apologies for not getting any new props/buildings etc into this build, the enemy creator and Mr Chieftain took up our time this week.
Enemy Creator
For any newcomers to MyWorld this week, our current main task is the enemy creator. From last week's update here's some info on upcoming exciting new feature! -
The reason for the recent enemy updates is due to our current main task, the enemy creator. The more built in enemies we can give you, the more choice you'll have in the creator.
The creator will feature loads of new body parts to choose from (mix of our current enemies and lots of new models) including heads, arms, legs, torsos, weapons etc. All parts can be scaled up or down and recoloured. Left / Right arms and legs can be different too.
Stats can be assigned, damage, health and also choose which enemy ai and sounds are used. These can be saved out for use in your worlds, or shared on the workshop. More details will come as we push on with it.This is the first step in giving you unique control on how your worlds play and feel.
We can't give a release date just yet, but Ravey and I will be updating you in the coming weeks.
Have a great weekend, keep the feedback coming and happy creating.
